  1. The Laundromat

I can only guess that dirty money can and will be a bit of a problem. So I am here for the proposal of The Laundromat. Didn't know whether or not to post this here or in business, because it kind of fits both. I plan on opening up a clothing line, some hopefully nice looking clothes to keep all of you criminals looking nice and sharp. Of course, we might fudge our profits a little bit... Give the benefit right unto you! We at The Laundromat plan on giving our customers a 75 cent on the dollar exchange, which crushes the laundry industry high of 50 cents on the dollar. Our motto here is "It only costs 25 cents to do your laundry!" Will be looking forward to all of our potential customers, and hopefully some people looking for employment. Like most clothing and crafts companies, we need designers. So I extend my hand to all of you crafty criminals, get some designs going and let's clean up our dirty dollars!
  2. get rich

Am I the only guy that has the main goal of getting so fucking rich you don't know what to do with it, illegal or not, but your only goal is to get shit blasted with cash. this is how I motivate myself I real life so I'm transferring it into the game, just wanted to see if anyone else thought the same.
  3. The Kings

The Kings Started out as a small organised crime cartel and expanded into an empire. Raised from the ground by a single man, Jack Hale but they know him as "The King". Corny name for a leader, right? The Kings originated from an island called Altis and expanded over to Identity where they stake their claim in the midst of the all the chaos and madness that is Identity. All members of The Kings follow a strict code of suave chivalry. You help us? We help you. Everything gets a return. There are a few things you should know before trying to gain your initiation into The Kings: Firstly, how we run and who's in-charge. Secondly, how you're expected to look and act. (Appearance is important to us, fuck this up and you're out kid.) Lastly, the common enemy. Let's start with the basics, eh? Who's in-charge: At the tippy top, we have "The King" - He makes all the decisions neccessary to make us tick and operate as we should. Next, his warchiefs. These guys are the toughest of the tough, meanest of the mean. They see through all the day to day operations and keep us on our toes. Then, the heavy muscle. These ladies and gents have gained trust within The Kings and command groups of The Kings in lieu of an warchief. They've probably been around longer than you've been alive. Now for the back-bone of The Kings, the patched members or "patch" if you wanna use that lingo. These guys and gals deal with the day-to-day operations usually in groups. Well taught and trained, they understand what is required of them in order to earn their keep. Lastly, the new blood. Kids, newbies and wannabes. They are potential members of The Kings they carry out the same duties as a patched member would however they operate under the supervision until fully initiated into The Kings. Now for our appearance: You'll usually see our members donning a black leather jacket with our patch on it. Depending on what rank they are will depend on what patches they have and what they wear. For example: The King - he wears what the f*ck he wants. Warchief - Leather jacket with The Kings patch and 3 upside-down chevrons sown to his/her collar. Heavy Muscle- Leather jacket with The Kings patch and 2 upside-down chevrons sown into his/her collar. Patch - Leather jacket with The Kings patch and 1 upside-down chevron sown into his/her collar New Blood - Black and white jailhouse tee. They don't get the honor of wearing our patch yet. That's not all of the appearance. You gotta act somewhat professional yet suave, we don't want no street thugs or "Hello Sir, may I get you a drink" type bullsh*t. Lastly, our common enemy... Anyone who's threatening us that could be of significant harm to our success, is an enemy. Anyone who disrespects The King or attempts to damage our reputation, is an enemy. Anyone who wants to steal our business or steals our property, is an enemy. Anyone who harms any of our boys or uh girls, is an enemy. Lastly, anyone who opposes us in general, is an enemy. Think you got what it takes big boy? Find one of our recruiters around town, they're pretty hard to find so that's your first test. Good luck kid. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recruitment Info: Recruitment is currently closed for Identity until it's release. So no public information will be shared until then. We are in no way shape or form affiliated with any real life or fictional gangs/factions under the name "The Kings". So we apologise for any inconvenience.
  4. Undercover Cops

Ok, so I don't know if this has already been answered but is there going to be the ability to have undercover cops? If so what does everyone think about that? Good, bad, or do you not care? I'd love to know.
  5. Identity (or to be more exact the idea of Identity) wants to change what an mmo is, a grand gesture indeed. In reality however most of these changes are going to have to come from the players themselves, sure Asylum can present their 'vision', they can provide the tools, but it's how those tools are used that will, ultimately, make or break Identity. Crime & the criminal are going to play a large part in that. So what makes a successful criminal? Simple....not getting caught. Now most of us think that is a fairly obvious statement, but when you consider it in terms of online 'games', it really isn't. In fact, in most 'life' sims the average criminal, more often than not, will go out of his way to bring about some kind of conflict with law enforcement. If anyone hopes to build a server that caters to ALL walks of life, then this is going to be one of the most difficult problems to solve. Because there is another very simple statement that is also true, having to duck bullets & avoid being mown down on the sidewalk every thirty seconds, drives 'community' players away. Go from one extreme to another, look at the toxic world of GTA Online where you can't even manage to get through three words without someone throwing a bomb, then consider what Identity 'could' be. Criminals live ordinary lives too, they co-exist with the rest of the community, they go shopping with their wives, go to clubs, bars....they even bathe! Think about it, IF (and yes that's a big if) you stick to one server, once you've been arrested the police are going to know you. For example....Herzog is only the President of a Motorcycle club....until he, or one of his club, get arrested for gun running.....then, in the eyes of the police, he's the leader of an organized crime gang. What all of this means, for the potential criminals of Identity, is that if they attempt to live their lives of crime OFF the police radar....then Identity has the potential to be a real game changer. If not, then we're looking at GTA with frills. It's the players who will make Identity great, you. Think outside the box, be the best.

  7. Underground crime bars

Hello, I have an idea that would be cool to ad into the game or for someone to make. Underground crime bars. which basically means little bars scattered around the map, or in the city, that people who want to join crime families or crime groups can go to. Players will be their from different crime organizations recruiting new members. Now of course everybody can go and get a drink, Not just members of organizations. I really don't know how to describe this, so i'm just gonna act out a little scene (with pictures) as the eyes of someone who wants to get into a mafia family ^^^^^^^^^Please dont mistake this post for a Roleplay post^^^^^^^^^ Christopher new about the underground bars, But never thought about going. It was until he saw the wad of cash his freind Micheal was carrying around with him everyday, The 2,000 dollar suit, The power he had to get a brand new car at the touch of a fingertip, and the power he had to contact any of his friends to come back him if he ever got into any trouble. Christopher loved his friends lifestyle, and the only way to get in was through the bar, because the families books were not currently open on anybody joining through members. So he went down to the bar, in his crappy rusted car. The place looked decent, nothing to get sick over, but it could've been better. Christopher walked in and noticed the range of diverse kids and men. Their was a couple punks in the back corner, in spiked, spray painted leather jackets and mo hawked hair. A group of bikers, both who belonged to the Bad Company Rangers MC and the Blood Hound MC, and a group of skinheads who controlled the bathroom entrance. Their was one man at the bar, who looked to be the right guy. Christopher didn't want to jump the gun and talk about the organization, so he sat 2 seats away from the man, and thought of ways to get his attention. Man at bar - "I'll have a scotch, and don't give me that shit kind" Bartender - "No problem" Christopher - "Same" The bartender looks at Chris and nods his head Man at bar - "you don't look like the scotch kind, kid" Christopher - "The first thing that came to my mind" Both get handed their drinks, The man at the bar downs his cup with no hesitation, while christopher tries to do the same, and ends up downing the drink as well. Both men go into conversation, similar too - where are you from? where are your parents from? Where did you grow up? but all in all a friendly conversation with a ruthless killer, but christopher had no idea. He was too caught up in the fancy lifestyle that of his friends. The man finally decides on leaving, and pulls out a wad of cash. He pays the bartender more then extra. Both the man and christopher leave the bar together, as they are greeted with a not so nice bike, who pushed the man away. Chris just sat their not knowing what to do. Chris will never forget the look the man gave the biker. Pure evil as if the he had just met death himself. The man reached inside his leather jacket, grabbed a snub nose revolver and pistol whipped the bikers head in a matter of seconds. And kept wacking him in the head until his whole face was red. The man turned around with a face of evil and said in a soft voice as if nothing had happened "cmon lets go" Now of course if these small bars were added, this scenario that i wrote will probably not be the same, Kids would probably just ask what crime group and if they could join, then would later see if they were fit to join. Thanks for the time, like i said please dont mistake my post for a roleplay post. I didnt know how to word this! @Herzog @Doc_Rogers
  8. Hello there, friends. When I started this post, I didn't think it would receive the amount of attention it did. With 600+ views, and 19 replies, it got far more attention then I've ever thought it would get. Over the past few months, I've been successful at recruiting members and allies. But, in the past week I've been experiencing lack of enthusiasm for my cartel. I've been thinking about it hard for the past few days, and I've decided what I wanna do. I've decided that I no longer wanna start a cartel. I thought about it, and I realized that starting a cartel is kinda out of my league. I'm just not that type of person. I'm still going to be a criminal, just not the head of a major cartel. I might join another cartel, or be an independent criminal. But my decision is final; the Peligroso Cartel is no more. I apologize for those who are disappointed with my decision. Best regards, DROSE

  11. So I've been wondering if there are any other proper crime families. Seems right now like it's just the Marianos and maybe the Roseport Mafia. Of course, the Mariano Crime Family is accepting members, but we don't just let anyone in. Message me if you're interested and believe you have what it takes. Anyway, it would be good to see some more real crime families emerging.
  12. Roseport Pirates

Hello there mateys. We arrrr the Roseport Pirates. We come from Somalia, previously a pirate there. Let me introduce myself. ---------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- About Captain A'Alamuddin I'm am the Captain of The Roseport Pirates. I control the Roseport Pirates operations. I started out in Somalia as a poor fisher. I soon began to see the increase of ships poisoning our waters and killing our fish. So I decided to take action on them by attacking their ships and claiming them for our own. I formed my own Somali Pirate group and soon later saw this was a great way to get rich. I soon began to see the rise of PMCs guarding OUR waters. Knowing there would be less, I decided to do local piracy, therefore, I moved to the land of Identity (No confirmed name for the island) and formed this new group. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Introduction Let me tell you more about Roseport Pirates. Joining us is a great way to get rich. We attack other ships, not our own. We attack PMC, Police, and even Civilian ships. We are a family as pirates in the Roseport Pirates. Maybe become a officer and help me out in planning and setting other pirates straight. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equipment If you join, you may be subject to getting these items: A weapon for combat A Paycheck A boat roof over yer head A chance to work as a team with others And possibly owning yer own ship. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ranks And you may also rank up and have more control and leadership. Ranks are crucial in this. Therefore, I set up some ranks and a list of them. So here it is (from lowest to highest): (NOTE: These ranks are little based off the US Navy ranks. Except more piratey like and less amount of ranks). ---------------------------------------------------- PIRATE ENLISTED RANKS: Pirate Recruit: (0/∞) Pirate: (0/∞) Pirate Petty Officer: (0/25) Pirate Petty Officer 1st Class: (0/15) Chief Pirate Petty Officer: (0/13) ---------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL: Captain Petty Officer of the Pirates: ---------------------------------------------------- PIRATE OFFICER RANKS: Pirate Officer: (0/13) Chief Pirate Officer: (0/10) Rear Admiral: (0/5) Admiral: (0/3) ---------------------------------------------------- Commander of The Pirates: ---------------------------------------------------- Captain of The Roseport Pirates: TrueCrazyMan ---------------------------------------------------- JOINING A DIVISION IS REQUIRED TO RANK UP Join a division here! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Pirate Code We have rules in the Roseport Pirates to make sure every pirate is set straight. Follow these rules and you will be fine. Screw up and we will have some problems here. Breaking server rules is another way to be removed and killed. 1. Respect - Be friendly to your brothers! We are all mates here, mess with one of us, we mess with you. This is like a brotherhood, respect them and they'll respect you back. 2. Share - Do not keep loot to yourself. All loot will be sold (as well as the ship) and the booty will be shared among the pirates that captured the ship. 3. Equality - Racism, sexism, or ignorance of religion is STRICTLY prohibited. I don't want anyone to be disrespected for ANY reason. 4. Never ever, betray one of your fellow pirates! That will result in you getting shot and removed from the Roseport Pirates. Only the Captain is allowed to murder one of our own but with a good reason. 5. Respect higher ups. Always respect your officers! The Captain Petty Officer of the Pirates is the equivalent to Commander of The Pirates but he is in charge of the Pirate Enlisted. Commander of The Pirates is in charge of officers. The Captain is in charge of everything. 6. Sail Safe! - If you are a Helmsman, sail the boat safely and correctly or you will be fired of your duties and transferred to another job. Crashing a boat by accident will get you fired. If you crash one on purpose you will be fined the boat cost, kill a pirate in a crash on purpose you will be shot and removed from the Roseport Pirates. 7. Nothing passes without a direct order from a present higher up or without passing through the table. 8. Don't Snitch - Snitching will get you thrown overboard and sent to the firing squad while in the water. 9. If you have a complaint, report it to a present higher up. DO NOT whine! If you do you will be thrown overboard! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flags & Warnings Of course we have warnings for other groups. These are the symbols if a group is either under investigation, partnered/neutral, or enemies. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If your gang/business receives this image, that means you and your group is currently under investigation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If your gang/business receives this image, that means you and your group is allied/neutral with us. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If your gang/business receives this image, that means your group is enemies/at war with us. You will not last long if you do mess with us. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I hope you join us and become a Roseport Pirate today! Sail the seas and rob the rich with us! If you decide not to join and plan to sail, don't. If you do, beware of Somalia. If you join, welcome aboard. We also do operations on land, such as drug and weapon trafficking. You require TeamSpeak 3 to join. A server is still being set up. We will kill if you provoke us to. And as always, have a nice day. --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/roseportpirates
  13. I am kind of confused how the cops will keep track on some illegal activities. I asked some questions about it over twitter but i did not get a for certain answer. I am going to place a scenario and ask how the police will be able to know about the scenario. (For Motown or Paratus) Say a person kills somebody in my group so I take him into a secluded area (Like a swamp) with no witnesses and kill him. If this happens how would the cops know about it?: (Explain the one that is right please) 1. Would they know i am the one who killed him off the bat? 2. Would they just know the general area of where he was killed? 3. Would they not be able to know at all because there were not any witnesses that reported it? 4. Other? The reason why i am asking is because I personally think it would be better if it was choice 2 or 3, because if it is choice 1 then no criminal could actually thrive in the world of identity. It wouldn't really add immersion if the cops get a notification of who committed the crime without having an actual way of knowing that in real life. (It would also get quite boring) Please answer when you have the chance.
  14. Langston Family / Dark Ace Mafia

Langston Family / Dark Ace Mafia Welcome to the Langston Family, or the Dark Ace Mafia. We have already recruited many men, and have made many connections. We are looking for more loyal men that enjoy the Mafia style role playing. This crime family will control everything from the production of drugs, the dealers on the streets, the weapons trade, smuggling, hijacking, robbery, and whatever else we need to do to get that money. Everything illegal happening on the streets will belong to "us". This means if there is a petty dealer dealing on our streets, well, let’s just say he won't be there for very long without paying some fees. On top of all the crime, and money, we are a family, we support each other in times of need, and stand on the building blocks of loyalty that this family operates on. We will be a Suit Mafia, wear tailored suits, drive nice cars, and we treat everyone with respect, unless we are shown disrespect. Join this family, and have a lot of fun in identity, and make lots of money while doing it. Now a little about me not as a Don, but as a person. I am not the Don that sits in my office all day. I am not the Don that steals from the poor. I am the Man, which spends time helping the community. I give money to the poor, rent properties to people, create opportunity for those who seek it, and am just a very public kind of guy. Am I scared of being public, sure, you never know who wants to hurt you, but living in a room, is not living. I hope to see many of you in the game. Who can join? Anyone, if you like crime style playing, and mafia type scenarios, this is perfect for you. What will we do? We will do all the things a Mafia does. We will control the drug dealing in the towns, with dealers operating under us, giving us a cut of what they make, and we give them more product. We will control illegal gun trading in the world, doing big role play like deals, with other Family's. We will break the legs of anyone trying to take our turf, and if it becomes necessary, use our assets to have them taken care of. This is just a glimpse at what we will do when the full game is out. Climb the ranks of the Mafia family and become high up and powerful, and make a name for you, and your family, on identity. RANKS: First I have to say, ranking up is not about the money you bring in. You will not be ranked up before spending a considerable amount of time in the family, and proving that you deserve to move up the chain through nothing but pure dedication and success. 1st, Associate: You will not be in the family yet, but will role with us and see how things are done, and could be a street dealer, or deliverer for us, etc. Bring in $500 into the family, spend good time with the family, and prove yourself to the family to rank up. 2nd, Soldier or Street man: You will scout the streets, bringing information of people selling anything from guns or drugs to the attention of the family, you will be able to also show other Associates how we work, can be a pick up man for cash, and join the family on missions where we need the numbers. Bring in $2000 into the family, and prove your loyalty to the Langston name to rank up. 3rd, Enforcer: You will be tasked with doing some... shall I say, dirty work. Now don't get ahead of yourself, you’re not a Hitman. You will be an enforcer on the streets, intimidating, and maybe even kidnapping people who disagree with our rules on the streets. You will also be able to take soldiers and associates with you on jobs such as robberies and other various tasks. (All medium level jobs must be cleared with a capo, and high risk with the Don. Bring in $10,000, 1 new recruit, spend lots and lots of time in the family to prove that you deserve this promotion, and complete one mission for the boss to rank up. 4th, Capo: You will be in charge of territories and men. You will have your soldiers and associates, although this does not make it a competition between you and other capos, it is just that you are at the stage of control. You will have more leeway to do jobs and activities of higher caliber. Remember, we are a family, so no matter where we are, we always help each other. The capo can also give his own jobs and assign his own tasks to enforcers or soldiers, if he/she is confident they can get it done. Bring in $15,000 to the family, and 3 new recruits, show you are ready, and complete various tasks for the boss to rank up. 5th, Underboss: This rank will have limited slots. Whether I want 2, 3, or 4 is undecided yet. The Underboss(s) will act as the commanding voice of the family when the Don is away. They can assign major tasks to the capo's to then assign on their men. The Underbosses will be entrusted in handling many meetings with other families, supervising major deals and shipments, to ensure everything runs smoothly. You are the ones with the most experience meaning you make the calls above everyone under you. Special Division 1. Hitman: What I meant to say was special tool. To get to this rank, you must make it to the enforcer rank, and then come to the Don about this... Special job. You will be tasked with many, special assignments to say, clean up messes, or take care of things. You get the idea. This job will be rarely used as i personally do not like a mess, I rather people understand right off the bat, so don't expect much. 2. My men on the inside. People I have in law enforcement, politics, and more. These people will be critical to the longevity of our operations. RULES 1. Respect, 2. RESPECT 3. Loyalty 4. Obey higher ranks 5. Got a problem, don't freak out, come to the Don personally. 6. No Snitching, no talking to cops, civilians, or even your own sweet mother about things we do. 7. All rats will be caught, you won’t last long as a rat, we'll have people watching over everyone, and you will meet our special tool. 8. All money collected on family related jobs, will be split to 70% for those who "collected" the money, and 30% for the family. 9. Family money is not one man’s money, it is the money we use to further our organization, whether that be buying a poor soldier a suit, buying more cars for the family, getting "merchandise and tools" for the family, it all goes to the family, not just one man’s personal pleasure. 10. Steeling from the family is not smart, as this makes you a thief to the family, and that breaks this rule, and rule #3. Not only does the Don himself despise people who steal from the family, but everyone does as you are stealing from everyone, as that money could be spent towards the family and gaining even more money. If you’re short on cash, don's hold back your % on jobs, simply ask someone for a loan, or even the Don himself doesn't mind loaning and even giving money to his family members, because that's what we do. 11. Don't do ambitious jobs or activities on behalf of the family that could jeopardize the family organization without consulting the Don. THIS IS PRIORITY AND FAILURE CAN LEAD TO COMPROMISING THE ORGANIZATION AND WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION. Although on your own time, not in the family, if you want to do illegal things without consulting us, do not use our name, and take your own risk. 12. Along with the roleplay fun of the family, take some time off once in a while and just have fun, try other jobs, it is a new game and if you want to try new things, just take a break, ask the Don. 13. Always have your family's back. 14. As an associate or soldier, before committing any crime at all, ask a superior if it is ok. 15. If you’re caught doing a crime, say it was your individual choice to do what you did and you had no influence from anyone else. Sometimes you just got to eat some dirt to keep your family safe. This will not go unnoticed, as sacrifice, is a quality of a very loyal man and will lead to your recognition. 16. Close members of the Family's won’t be selling drugs, personally delivering illegal shipments, etc. This will be for outsiders that are under our control, and soldiers. This is to keep the crime semi disconnected from the family and helps insure the integrity of our operations. 17. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, are you to discuss plans, activities, operations, etc., with anyone outside of the family. Doing this will make you a RAT, and you know what happens to rats. Please message me if you are interested. Best regards, Kevin Langston
  15. Criminal Chop Shops

CHOP SHOPS Just a suggestion, but they should be added. In case anyone needs some knowledge of what this is: What Are Chop Shops? Chop shops are illegal garages that buy stolen cars, disassemble them, and sell their individual parts for profit. To avoid being caught, criminals disassemble a car within hours of stealing it. That way, the owner and the police will never be able to find it. Since they are running an illegal business, the people operating chop shops try to be as inconspicuous as possible. They are hidden away in residential garages and small commercial spaces that do not draw attention. Chop shops rarely work independently; they are usually part of large criminal organizations. Just a suggestion...
  16. More or less how will gangs work? Will they be considered careers, or will you just commit crimes and associate yourselves with others who are unofficially part of a gang? In the event that gangs are a more official system, will there be official ranks? Also what will be decidable by the boss, etc. Thanks!
  17. Introduction The Mariano Crime Family is an Italian-American organised crime family based on the ancient principles of Cosa Nostra. Like the Genovese Crime Family of New York City, the Mariano Crime Family are considered the 'Ivy League' of organised crime, mainly because of their ability to adapt with the times and find new ways of making money even as law enforcement clamp down on the mob. One of the key differences between this and other criminal organisations is the sanctity placed on loyalty and brotherhood, two values which have unfortunately become rare in the underworld. Structure The organisational structure of the Mariano Crime Family is the same as that of other Italian-American and Sicilian crime families. Low-level associates of the organisation work on the streets, making money in the hopes of eventually becoming 'made men' (official members of the family). Once they are 'made', associates are promoted to the rank of soldier, or 'soldato'. Soldiers operate in crews of up to 10, which are each lead by a captain or caporegime (shortened to capo). A capo is essentially a lieutenant, managing his crew and ensuring that they are earning money without breaking the rules of the family. There can be anywhere from 2 to 20 crews in a family depending on its size, each operating independently of each other (for the most part) but ultimately part of the same organisation. All of the families captains report to the underboss, the second-in-command and one of the most powerful members of the family. The duty of the underboss is to oversee the day-to-day running of the family, ensure that business is running smoothly and that captains are passing up their kick-up (more on this later). The consigliere acts as an advisor to the boss, helping him steer the family in the right direction and settling disputes both within and outside the family. Finally, the Boss (also known as the Don, or Godfather) is at the very top of the pyramid. All decisions, including who gets made, who the families captains are, and who runs what rackets (criminal jobs), are made by him. At the end of the day, the Don gets a cut of all profits made by the family. Kicking Up Key to the power structure of the mafia is the practice of 'kicking up'. Essentially, all this means is that at a certain pre-determined time (probably once a week or once every two weeks), anybody earning with the family (this means associates and made men alike) must pass a certain amount of their profits to their superiors. Associates kick up to whichever made man they are working for. Soldiers kick up directly to their captain under all circumstances, while captains all kick up to the administration of the family (meaning the underboss, boss, and consigliere). The amount that one is expected to kick up differs based on rank and the rackets one is working, but the minimum amount will always be fair and reasonable. Unless you are particularly reckless, kicking up will not be a chore, and most of the time only about 10% of your weekly income will go towards it. However, basic math tells you that the more you earn, the smaller the percent of your earnings you will need to kick up to satisfy the minimum requirements. Then again, kicking up even more than the minimum is a good way to get noticed by the higher-ups and possibly earn you a promotion (which obviously means more opportunities to earn big money). It is always the best earners who are the most respected in the family. It is important to remember that just because you have people working for you and kicking up to you, you should not slack off. Everybody, from the associates to the boss of the family, actively work to earn money on top of what they are earning from kick-up. Nobody sits around waiting for payments and drinking coffee. How to Join It is important for the organisation that our members are competent (skilled) and intelligent, that way everybody is able to make as much money as possible. Even though being an associate of the Mariano family is potentially one of the higher paying jobs available to most people in Identity, being a 'made man' is where the real money is. The higher your rank, the more money and opportunities are available to you. To join, simply work with well-connected associates or made men in the family. Make money and every so often, kick up a decent amount of what you make to your higher-ups. The more you bring in, the better your reputation will be. Of course, it isn't just about money. You need to demonstrate that you are loyal to the family before all else, and that you know and understand omerta (more on this coming up). Once you have earned the respect of the families administration, you will be considered for being made. The very best associates are evaluated and hand-picked to become official members of the family, and therefore expand their earning potential (for themselves and the family) infinitely. It is best not to ask to get made, as this will only annoy and slow down the process. Instead, demonstrate that you are both loyal and a good earner, and you will have your best shot at becoming an official member of the family. Rules of the Family The rules of the Mariano Crime Family are quite simple. For simplicities sake, they are referred to as 'omerta' (pronounced oh-mer-tah). They are: - Your loyalty to the family comes before all else. - Never hurt or kill another made man under any circumstances, and only harm an associate if you have a very good reason to do so. - Never co-operate with the police in any way. If the police ask you about anything related to business, you know nothing. You're simply a businessman. - Do not discuss family business with anybody who is not either a made man, or very well connected to the family. - Make sure you are not late with your payments. You would not like your underlings being late with their payments to you, so show the same courtesy. If you follow these simple rules and generally try to avoid causing trouble, you will find your time in the Mariano Crime Family very rewarding and fun. Conclusion The Mariano Crime Family is an organisation for people who value loyalty, brotherhood, and intelligence. We are, in the truest sense of the word, a family. This is an organisation for those who aren't content with being a part of any old gang. If you would like to discuss further, feel free to send me a private message. Keep in mind that our organisation will operate on the Australian server so, while we are not opposed to doing business with US or UK people, we only accept made men who are willing to play on the Australian server. Regards, J.M

  19. Langston Family / Dark Ace Mafia

Langston Family / Dark Ace Mafia vvvvvvvvvv CHECK OUT MAIN PAGE THREAD! vvvvvvvvvv Welcome to the Langston Family, or the Dark Ace Mafia. we have already recruited many men, and have made many connections. This means if their is a petty dealer dealing on our streets, well, lets just say he won't be there for very long without paying some fees. I am the Man, that spends time helping the community. I give money to the poor, and just am a very public kind of guy. 1st, Associate: You will role with us and see how things are done. Bring in $500 into the family, and prove yourself to the family to rank up. 2nd, Soldier or Street man: You will scout the streets, bringing information of people selling anything from guns or drugs to the attention of the family, you will be able to also show other Associates how we work. Bring in $2000 into the family, and prove your loyalty to the Langston name to rank up. 3rd, Enforcer: You will be tasked with doing some... shall i say, dirty work. Now don't get ahead of yourself, your not a hitman. You will be an enforcer on the streets, intimidating, and maybe even kidnapping people who disagree with our rules on the streets. You will also be able to take soldiers and associates with you on jobs such as robberies and other various tasks. Bring in $10,000, 1 new recruit, prove that you deserve this promotion, and complete one mission for the boss to rank up. The Underbosses will be entrusted in handling many meetings with other family's, supervising major deals and shipments, to ensure everything runs smoothly. You are the ones with the most experience meaning you make the calls above everyone under you. Special Division 1. Hitman: What i meant to say was, special tool. To get to this rank, you must make it to the enforcer rank, and than come to the Don about this... Special job. You will be tasked with many, special assignments to say, clean up messes, or take care of things. You get the idea. RULES 1. Respect, 2. RESPECT 3. Loyalty 4. Obey higher ranks 5. Got a problem, don't freak out, come to the Don personally. 6. No Snitching, no talking to cops, civilians, or even your own sweet mother about things we do. 7. All rats will be caught, you wont last long as a rat, we'll have people watching over everyone, and you will meet our special tool. 8. All money collected on family related jobs, will be split to 70% for those who "collected" the money, and 30% for the family. 9. Family money is not one mans money, it is the money we use to further our organization, whether that be buying a poor soldier a suit, buying more cars for the family, getting "merchandise and tools" for the family, it all goes to the family, not just one mans personal pleasure. 10. Steeling from the family is not smart, as this makes you a thief to the family, and that breaks this rule, and rule #3. Not only does the Don himself despise people who steal from the family, but everyone does as your are stealing from everyone, as that money could be spent towards the family and gaining even more money. If your short on cash, don's hold back your % on jobs, simply ask someone for a loan, or even the Don himself doesn't mind loaning money to his family members, because that's what we do. 11. Don't do ambitious jobs or activities that could jeopardize the family organization without consulting the Don. 12. Along with the rolaplay fun of the family, take some time off once in a while and just have fun, try other jobs, it is a new game and if you want to try new things, just take a break, ask the Don. 13. Always have your family's back. 14. As an associate or soldier, before committing any crime at all, ask a superior if it is ok. 15. Last but not least, if your caught, it was your individual choice to do what you did and you had no influence from anyone else. Sometimes you just got to eat some dirt to keep your family safe. This will not go unnoticed as sacrifice, is a quality of a very loyal man. 16. Close members of the Family's wont be selling drugs, personally delivering illegal shipments, etc. This will be for outsiders that are under our control. This is to keep the crime semi disconnected from the family and helps insure the integrity of our operations. 17. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, are you to discuss plans, activities, operations, etc, with anyone outside of the family. Doing this will make you a RAT, and you know what happens to rats. Please message me if you are interested. Best regards, Kevin Langston
  20. Insurance

I was wondering and digging around, and I learned that it's not available to steal from player owned stores, correct? If this is true, why isn't there a easily built coverage system that reimburses the stolen goods?
