I have received more than a few offers now in my PMs and as a result I feel this post is important. For those of you who dont know, I am Joel Keys, founder and CEO of Keys High-End Apparel. I like to think we are one of the leading formal wear businesses on the market. I already have multiple orders for suits from many companies and such. Tomorrow I will be holding a meeting on discord, you do not need to speak if you dont wish but I encourage any CEOs who would like a deal made between us to come along. I will attach a list of persons of interest to me as well as people who have already contacted me. My business with these people will remain private until further notice. This will help everyone who attends, so if you are smart I encourage you to bring a pen and paper as you will have some writing to do. We will discuss contracts including services we provide each other and we will also have some discussions about some rough figures so that you know roughly what you will be gaining/losing. Here is the list of people of interest: @DrivenMuffin - CEO of Aegis Security @RexProcer - CEO of Southern Group Real Estate @Herzog - Founder of The Gentleman's Club and CEO of Winstons Tailors @BioHaze - My CFO @dolore - Private @Zebra - Private Those are people in which I would like to make a proposal and/or we have already made a deal or are in negotiations. @Herzog is an exception, as he is the founder of TGC. If there are any business owners who would also like to come, please do. If you are a company that requires your employees to wear a suit, I will be doing a pre-order for my products in which you will receive a pre-order discount. This is a good opportunity to make friends in high places too, so even if you dont want a deal, feel free to come just dont waste our time. Just let me know if you are coming by replying below. P. S Any gang leaders are welcome too, although I have a rule. I do not want to be informed or involved in any illegal activities, so if you are coming we are coming to talk sales, not dirty business. Thank you, Joel Keys, founder and CEO of Keys High-End Apparel.

We at Asylum Entertainment are very excited to tell you, our community, how you will be able to get into the game sooner than you think! Identity's modules are small portions of Identity which will be released before Identity is ready for the world. This lets you experience part of the game months sooner than otherwise possible. The first module you'll be getting your hands on is a social environment which we've called Town Square. The Town Square will include all major social components, and will allow you to finally create and customize your characters. You can meet hundreds of new people and explore several cool features of the peaceful city life. For more details on Town Square, check out the modules page on the Identity website. Following the release of Town Square you'll experience SWAT player versus player action and eventually vehicle races of all sorts. We'll be bringing you more information on the modules as they progress!

Yep, there is. Following what I mentioned before, police can only charge you for a crime you're "flagged" for committing. You don't receive the charge immediately, and the flag wears off quickly. Fingerprints work the same way other crimes do, and the player is charged upon their discovery but not before.

Fuck off. Nobody wants people like you here.

Good, everyone wants to be a hardcore criminal, maybe this system will force people to get a real job and leave the criminal work to the ones who can handle it. I dont want to live in a server where the criminals are equal to the good guys, there has to be significantly more good guys otherwise it is just DarkRP remastered.

I can't waste your time i am not keep you here or forcing you responding and if you did not care you would not respond. Also you have not responded to a singe thing i have said any of the times i posted the facts. So pot calling the kettle black much. Lastly saying there is credible information if i looked for it is not accurate. Since are view of whats credible seem to be very different. Lastly i have not been editing my posts here to make them look better after the fact like you. and for someone who set the topic you seem to fail to see this is less of a place for you to say what your think and more of the political version of a freak show where we come to laugh at you have you even read what everyone is saying well the the last word on this goodnight and know i won't be reading anymore of these for the sole reason i know that fact will realy piss you off.

Hello citizens! It's been too long since our last developer blog entry, so I wanted to take the time today to update all of our backers on Identity's current state of development, as well as give a little more insight into the process behind the scenes. During the first year and a bit of development, most of the time was spent developing key backend systems. Networking modifications, weapon physics, character customization, voice communication and so on. That's all behind us now, and I'm happy to say it's gone as well as we could have hoped. Now and for the past couple of months we've moved on to gameplay development, making those backend features do the fun stuff. This Month in Development In this last month our lead character artist, Miroslav, has finished up everything we need for your characters going into the Town Square release. We're always going to be adding more character customizations over time, but to start you'll have the choice between 4 male and 5 female race options. After selecting your base race you can customize further with skin tones, blemishes, scars, eye color, hair styles, hair colors and tweaks to facial features. Identity is expanding on the usual character customization, though, as some of the options available can only be gotten through achievements. Prison tattoos are an example; if you see someone with such a tattoo you know they've done something to earn it. A lot of work this month has also gone into the player housing systems. In following our previous messages, our home customization system has been in place for some months although we've been expanding the floorplans in preperation for the Town Square module release. Sean, or Motown as you may know him, has prepared the various apartments you will have in the Town Square. If you have made a smaller pledge to Identity and do not have an apartment yet, we're going to be giving you access to a temporary (small) home in the Town Square so that you can play with the cusomization features. If you've pledged for a package containing an apartment, Town Square will show what you'll have in the full Identity game upon release. Just this morning our lead programmer, Henrik (AKA Mathalion), finished up the karaoke systems. It's a minor feature for Identity as a whole, but it's going to be loads of fun in the Town Square module! Just off the lobby of the hotel is a slick little bar, complete with a karaoke stage. You'll be able to queue up your favorite songs on the karaoke machine and see the lyrics on one of the monitors around the stage. The microphone on the stage really works, too, amplifying your voice out of the speakers so that your singing can be heard by everyone there! Most of us are terrible singers, so karaoke is going to have a lot of hilarious moments. If you're just there to watch, the restaurant by the stage is fully functional, too! It's Been Too Long I'll just come right out and say it: we at Asylum Entertainment have really had poor PR these last months, and you guys deserve better. You deserve much more frequent updates, and we're committing to give you that moving forward. We're a relatively small development team today. Currently a core staff of 5 incredibly talented full-time developers, I'm amazed every day with what this team can accomplish. Outside of our core we have a handful of part-time workers, mostly artists, who are also very skilled. Because we're a small team, many of us have to wear several hats. For example, Sean is our community manager but also a 3D artist. I myself am the project manager, a programmer and interface developer. This leads to few resources to dedicate towards PR as there's so much work to be done on the game itself. This is something we knew though, and we're going to set some time aside regularly to keep you in the loop. The Town Square module is coming soon. We're in the final months of 2016 now, and you'll finally be inside the first piece of the Identity world in the first quarter of 2017. It's a little later than we originally hoped since we're dedicated to making sure everything is smooth and stable from the first moments. Identity is an enormous undertaking, but the most difficult bits are behind us and we're drawing near! What to Expect The first stage of game development is always very boring to talk about, and also doesn't give us much to show you. Creating those backend systems that drive the game behind the scenes is one of the most important phases, but it's not very glamorous. It's for this reason that most games aren't announced until they're a couple years into development. Now that we're past that point, we're going to be able to start showing you real Identity gameplay. The first gameplay video you'll see is going to be in November and will show you just how detailed and in-depth Identity is becomming! You'll see a walkthrough of our housing system, showing just how far it can be customized and some of the cool fun features you'll find in there. Following that video we'll give you a glimpse of the Town Square features, leading up to its release. It's been a ton of work and a long time coming, but we're moving forward at a great pace and everything is about to get very exciting over here.

So after reading the FAQ a bit more in dept I saw this sentence in one of the questions: "Players cannot access another players home without an invitation." This makes me a bit concerned since that means no robbing of players houses will be possible. Robbing houses is one of the most fun and thrilling things to do in Gmod DarkRP, and if the developers think that robbing peoples houses will have a negative impact on the housing aspect, here are my suggestions: * Give players the ability to buy alarms for their houses (Locks come with the house). * Nerby cops and the player owning the house gets alerted immediately when a house alarm has gone off. * Robbers have to buy a crowbar/lockpick to be able to get inside of the house if the door is locked. * Crowbars/lockpicks will be very limited in stores. * Robbers are only able to slowly carry one object/furniture at a time making the robbing process take loads of time. * Players can buy cameras which can be accessed via your phone (this will probably take loads of time to implement and I don't think it's really that necessary). * To keep certain things safe in the house, players can buy safes. * Robbers are only able to rob a house if it's empty of players (Just to keep the houses safe places to chill and hang out with firends) With only a few of these suggestions implemented, robbing houses would become very hard, which is a good thing since you wouldn't want players houses to constantly get robbed. Also one thing to keep in mind is that the houses in DarkRP are often empty which means that you can easily find the valuable stuff fast, while in Identity, the houses will be filled with loads of furniture making the search harder for robbers. I really hope that the developers will consider these suggestions since I think it would add to the immersion of a game like Identity. EDIT: After some discussion I feel like I need to clearify a few things. Since the developers have said that the only way to enter a house is through an invitation, because the performance will be an issue, I will try to explain my ideas how this could be fixed. So since houses will feature an instanced loadingscreen, the robber could be transfered into the house with a loadingscreen, exactly the same as when a player gets invited. The only difference is that the robber didn't get an invitation. And for example if a player could only invite 10 people to a house, then only 5 robbers and 5 cops should be able to enter the house and there wouldn't be any noticeable differences in the performance. The only problem with this is that if the loading times are long, there could be situations where the cops and robbers could be in a loadingscreen at the same time, which would result in them passing by eachother without the cops or the robbers noticing eachother. The solution to this problem could be to have a display on the door indicating if a player is about the get in/out of the house, or have a blurred verson of the avatar remain standing outside the door while loading. Another thing with the houses is that they are places where you are able to just chill out with friends and such, without any action or robbers. How to fix this problem is to only make robbers able to rob the house if there are no players inside (which includes the owner and the players invited).

Who We Are We are an established motorcycle club that has been in existence since June 27th, 2015. We are not murderers and thieves, like the media would have you believe. We are not terrorists or national threats, like the government tries to make us out to be. We are not all outlaws or criminals, like the A.M.A has written to outcast us. We are members of your community, we are citizens like you. We are enthusiasts of motorcycles, its lifestyle, and its culture. We are protectors of our communities and someone you can turn to, no matter the situation or odds. We are Feared N Fearless Motorcycle Club, a brotherhood and sisterhood that goes beyond blood or name. In essence we are a family of bikers who work hard to make sure our family is safe, and prosperous. We are one of the most reputable and respected motorcycle clubs found online, and no matter the odds, we always prevail and become stronger. We have been through many things throughout our existence, and we know more will come, but we prepare for any situation that can present itself. Some of us have been through our own forms of hell, and because of FNF MC, we have been strong enough to conquer them. All of this, makes us a tighter family than most other motorcycle clubs can offer, and makes FNF one of the best clubs to be part of. Our Mission Feared N Fearless' mission is to become the most reputable and respected motorcycle club in the servers we establish our charter(s) in, and become the most known motorcycle club across this community. Our focus is on loyalty, dedication, and longevity, and becoming the most respected and reputable will aid us in our focus. No matter the server, no matter community groups, we will be known and respected anywhere we go. We know respect and reputation is something that must be earned, and we will let nothing stand in our way to accomplish our mission. This mission even carries over into our recruitment, because earning your place here will be no easy task. We want to continue our brotherhood and have no care for quantity, only quality brothers here for the betterment of the club. 1% We are a "1% Motorcycle Club" and we flaunt it proudly, because we believe in, and defend, our rights and freedoms, even if the law, government, media, or even society is standing in our way. The American Motorcycle Association wants to label and shame us by calling us outlaw bikers, and we proudly accept that labeling, even if it gives us a stigma to society. We govern ourselves and hold ourselves accountable to different standard of law, and if it conflicts with society's law, so be it. Some of our members may become involved in criminal activity or there may be even convicts within our ranks, but this doesn't reflect the club because we don't encourage violence or illegal activities. Any illegal activities any member becomes part of, is their decision, not the club's. What We Do We party, we ride, we fight, we do anything we want, whenever we want to do it. We hold rides, runs, shows, charities, parties, national celebrations, and even conventions to mix it up with our neighbors and friends. With that being said, our business is our own. Any club business is not discussed with anyone outside the club, and we respect and defend our right to privacy. Whatever our business is, if the public needs to know about it, we will make sure they know. We are always looking for fellow enthusiasts and free thinkers, who are searching for like minded individuals to challenge and expand their world and perception. We also offer aid to anyone who needs it and feels they have no where else to turn. We even plan on getting involved in the business sector and, if possible, the sporting sector. Our History Our history is a long and twisted story still being written today. It is a collection from our original members, who began it all, to our newest members, who help shape our present, and write our future. To fully understand FNF MC and why we are the way we are, you must first understand where we started, where our father's started, and where our grand father's started. We must start in 1948 with Original Red Devils MC. Chapter 1: The Origins Chapter 2: Dogs And War How To Join Like mentioned above, joining this motorcycle club is no easy task. We have severe trust issues, and it does take a long time for FNF to fully trust anyone. We are not, what we call, a "Hand Out Club", which will give out patched positions, instead we believe you must earn your place here. Becoming part of the club requires members to not only probate for us, but to first hang around with the club so we can get to know you, and for you to get to know us. This process can take time, but proves to us who wants to truly be part of this club, and who would just like to say they are. Dedication and loyalty are just some of the qualities that can help you through this process, but this process is different for everyone. We believe in the motto; "You Get What You Give" and only give the patch to those who have earned the right to call themselves a member of Feared N Fearless MC. Recruiting We are not currently recruiting for Identity at this time, we are only recruiting for our PS4 charter on GTA Online, as well as we are looking to expand to XB1, and PC. We even plan to open up a SAMP charter or 2. If you are interested in becoming part of Feared N Fearless in the future when Identity is released, please join our support crew to keep up to date with the club and our activities. Hello Everyone! My name is Jedi, but in game i will be known as Jack. I've followed the development of this game for quite some time and have always wanted to pledge to it. This is the exact immersive game i have been waiting for and i cannot wait to get in game with all of you. I have played quite a few RP servers ranging from Dayz to Gmod. (dayz, arma 2-3, gmod, reign of kings, ect) And i will say that this game looks to be the defining game of the RPMMO genre. The endless possibilities you have in this is mind blowing and i am so happy i can finally contribute to the development. A little about myself. My online name is Jedi, I'm currently 27 years old and i play anything that strikes my fancy. I do have a youtube channel that i plan on making videos of Identity on. I'm an Army Veteran so i really enjoy the whole milsim/reality of some games and servers. I RP pretty well in most situations but i am not shy when it comes to putting someone who is failing to RP in their place. Having a military background, i do appreciate why rules and regulations are put into place and follow them to the letter. In conclusion, I absolutely cannot wait to jump into this and create "Jack Leyhe" and to see what the community does and how much it grows. I hope to see you all in game sometime. Also, If i buy a house and any of you come across it. Go ahead and knock. The door will always be open for you! Much Love, Jedi

@Herzog That's a great idea. Honestly, I would love to attend these classes, maybe not so much the basic "How-To" tutorials when it comes to learning about role-play but other things, in-character and such. If you decide to go that route still on the (official) server I certainly would attend, I like the sounds of that sort of atmosphere and would like to give it a try!

It's a great idea. Maybe down the road, who knows. The only caveat I would say is that the player who is being robbed has to be online. IF they're able to handle the performance issues, otherwise what we have for now will be sufficient.
  23. 1 point
The 1cop2civ ratio wouldn't work since this isn't DarkRP, there needs to be around 20 employees per business. There also needs to be significantly more normal citizens than business owners so that the clothing stores have people to sell for, security services have people to protect etc. while also keeping a decent amount of cops and criminals.

@Delta1168 I think you bring up some interesting points. I agree on some and disagree on some, but generally I believe this does need to be a discussion. Hopefully everyone is here because they want to Role Play on a game that is trying its best to advocate it and host it. There is going to be a lot of content and that should help break up some of the boredom, but like it has been said, if you are bored just go do something else for a bit. With regards to situations (for police) like the incident you described where a car was in the road and you pulled up then got shot out of nowhere, how can you immediately judge that was not role play? what if the person that shot you is role playing somebody that decided to start killing cops? I'm playing devils advocate there to make a point. That is a gray area of play, because I can see your point of view of it as well. There are some things that just don't make sense, even for a role play game. The key to making the role play on identity the best experience is a fair and balanced set of rules and as well as good communication between the base community, moderators, and the developers. Establishing good report and trust with one another should be a huge goal for the developers, moderators, and the members of the community that want to have a fulfilling experience in the game. I hope to interact with you more in the future and potentially meet you in game. Ask the questions that need to be asked. Family First, Mission Always. Stay Safe.

Thank you for giving me some ideas. I've been thinking about what business to create and now that this has come to my attention I might consider the food industry. You don't need to, but the idea isn't socialism. You don't see our motives, just affiliate yourself with another party but the ugly truth is that every other party is about as transparent as a prison wall.
  43. 1 point
I think major crime should be more than a few hours. Perhaps 6-12 hours of in-game servers time. If I open my own RL servers, prison time may be hours to days of time served. How else is the criminal underworld going to capitalize on your mistake, if they have no time to fill the gap? Plus it validates having court, or attempting a break, or trying to swindle guards and fellow inmates. I think realism should take focus over base entertainment. This is a role play of reality, Prison isn't fun, it is an institution for those that cannot fit to the construct of society. The RP should incorporate the danger of the criminal life not hollywoodize it. Just my opinion tho

I see many things wrong with this. 1- Taxes are what not only help small businesses but also help Government funding to give those small businesses their money if they ever need a bailout. Taxes are something that's are needed because without them a country would be insanely poor. 2- The legalization of firearms would result in everybody trying to shoot everybody. People have short tempers and will shoot on sight for no reason whatsoever. 3- Privatization of state owned institutions is a very bad thing. Because along with your legalization of firearms, drugs and now this you'll get what you strived for. While that may be good for you. That's means a few things. The lower class citizens and the working man will take those drugs and guns and rebel towards your party. Privatization of institutions would mean you have nowhere to go for help. And no taxes mean if you needed any help the police wouldn't be able to help you because they have no money from those taxes to get cars, guns and other equipment. While I enjoy the idea of a party of this stature I also see too many problems with what could happen. I'm not hating but I'm just warning you of what could happen.
