  1. Frederick Murray - RP Character

Frederick Murray Frederick grew up in Southern Louisiana, in the United States of America. At age 7, Frederick knew he was something special. His mother had always taught him to be a gentleman, and so he grew up to be. You see, Frederick and his mother weren't the richest of families. They often had to stay with his grandmother, or they slept in back alleys. Frederick always knew that once he grew up, he would somehow bring himself out of this poverty, because he didn't want to live that way for the rest of his life. But up until now, Frederick had not found that opportunity. The U.S. Government came to Frederick promising that if he could fulfill one single promise, that he'd be granted a brand new identity, on an island with people he had never met before. This was very appealing to Frederick, as he saw this as an opportunity to make money and get himself out of poverty. Well now, this is where the written story ends, and Frederick's new life begins... Good luck Frederick! Frederick's Personal Information: Name: Frederick Murray Age: 32 Gender: Male Ethnicity: Caucasian Sexuality: Heterosexual (Into the opposite sex/straight) Occupation: N/A! Plans to run his own businesses in order to move up in the world.
  2. Lets talk about roleplay

As we all know the aim for this game is strict roleplay, and it is to be played similar to real life. However, my main concern is as like everyone mentions. RDM, lack of RP, and also the inability to get everyone on board with the concept. When I play this game, I want to escape the bs that occurred in life mods. Being that I want to have my character a police officer, I don't want to have the fear of getting killed every second of everyday for no reason. Let me explain what I think RDM is. RDM is pretty much killing without roleplay. An example of this would be: I'm responding to a call and a random car just blocks the road before i can do or say anything, i'm killed. I'm pretty certain that i can say for others we want to model real life in this game, so what can we do to stop this? strict rules? i know every server will handle this differently, but before the release can we get together and actually agree to just RP like we are meant to, and if you want to kill on top of kill, guys there are plenty of great games out there. lastly, lets leave on a proper kill situation: lets say we have two gangs, gang A and gang B. a Member of Gang B walks into claimed territory of Gang A and is warned by the members of gang A that they need to leave, if he doesn't then yeah a shootout can happen. That's one of many situations that can happen civ vs civ. Police vs civ is no different. As a cop, yeah it can be annoying getting killed but the reality is when you stop someone there's always risk. Id love to see a foot pursuit that turns into a shootout, that's great and that's roleplay. we don't know if we have the ability to shoot from car windows or not but if I approach a car and the guy is a known criminal, sure shoot me when i approach, but let the roleplay at least begin. things like that happen, maybe not a lot, but it should work the same in game. My judgement for RDM is based off of real life, If certain things happen in real life (like mentioned above) then sure let it happen in game. but not all of the time because it doesn't happen all of the time in real life. Argument: No one can say this isn't real life because the goal is to model it, so sorry try again. But lets have a conversation about this, agree or disagree lets contribute our thoughts.

  4. MTA SA (Closest to Identity)

MTA SA is basically, Gta SanAndreas multiplayer on PC. There is one server on that game called Cit2. It usually has 800 people on it. Basically no NPC, and 800 real people on the SanAndreas map. There are tons of jobs, Police, ambulance, fireman, garbage man, farmer, fisher, pilot, and criminal. With all of these jobs come custom scripting to make them full. Farmers have custom jobs, and ways to plant things and get money, fisher get boats and do a sort of minigame to actually get fish, and criminals have turfing, different drugs, robbing stores, atms, and houses. Every house on the server is also ownable by a player like identity will be. In case anyone plays the game, pm me.
  5. I. How difficult will running a business be? In depth, paying bills, running specific operations, required missions, basically what all can we expect from running a business. II. How many business's can we run? Can we run however many we can handle, like in real life you can't functionally handle a dozen business's without business partners running each business for you, and you taking commission just for backing the company. III. Will there be stock trading? Some form of realistic trading, investing in a friends company that you feel like will grow in the near future, will you get in trouble for insider trading? Which is basically what I just said in the example above. Investing in a friends business because he tells you it will be coming out with a new revolutionary product in the upcoming future. IV. Will you have to pay taxes on a business? This one is pretty self explanatory but will they be income based or will we pay taxes per item sold. Something like sales tax payed by both parties. Buyer and seller. If anyone has any further questions comment down and any I think are amazing ideas I will edit it into this post along with credit to your username

  9. MC Formations - RP

Okay so i took some time to draw up a picture showing the formations that my MC will personally use. I put it here as it is roleplay. Other MC's are welcome to take ideas from this and its easy to modify if you do not have certain ranks. A key is featured at the bottom to help with reading this. Okay, so on the left we have a general formation that will be mostly used on a day to day basis when traveling as a club. So it is easier to split these formations into groups. For now i will refer to these groups as packs. It features the chapter P leading the pack up front with the VP on his right just slightly behind and the SA to his left just behind. This is the leading trio and these three members will always be up front. The pack behind the leading pack contains all the other members of the club from R to T. This pack ride in rank order being higher ranks at the front and down till you get patched members at the back. Behind the members will be the pack of Pro if they are brought along. Prospect are always at the rear unless a different vehicle is behind or hangarounds. The last group will be any type of other vehicle be is a van or truck. This is only seen when doing a job such as a gun run or when carrying other members via a van. Pack Order: Pack #1 - International President/President - Vice President - Sergeant At Arms Pack #2 - Treasurer - Road Captain -Enforcer/Assistant Road Captain/Patched Members Pack #3 - Prospects Pack #4 - Support Vehicle/Transport Vehicle Okay, so on the right we have a special formation that will be mostly used on for special events just as a long ride or funeral. Again, the chapter P leads the pack up front with the VP on his right just slightly behind and this time the RC to his left just behind. In this formation, this is the leading trio and these three members will always be up front during this formation. The pack behind the leading pack is a small pack that contains the SA on the right behind the VP and the A.RC on the left behind the RC. The A.RC is set just out of the formation so he is able to pull out to go ahead and block roads, etc. Behind this pack is is similar to the general formation with the rest of the clubs members in rank order from R to T. Behind the members will be the pack of Pro. Behind the prospects will either a pack of H or a vehicle depending on the scenario just as a hearse for a funeral or hangarounds for a ride. This is where you would also place members of other MC's that join you on your ride. Pack Order: Pack #1 - International President/President - Vice President - Road Captain Pack #2 - Sergeant At Arms - Assistant Road Captain Pack #3 - Treasurer -Enforcer/Patched Members Pack #4 - Prospects Pack #5 - Hangarounds/Members Of Another MC and/or - Special Vehicle (hearse) Key: P - President VP - Vice President SA - Sergeant At Arms RC - Road Captain A.RC - Assistant Road Captain T - Treasurer R - Ranger (Members) Pro - Prospect H - Hangaround I am sorry for the messiness of this post but i hope you had fun reading this and, if you are an MC leader, take some ideas from this. Thank you very much for reading. Herzog - International President BCR MC
  10. We're all obviously here because we are looking forward to Identity, but I think there are a few things that could potentially hurt the final game. Here they are: - Bad roleplayers: people who aren't playing Identity to roleplay and live out realistic arcs, but instead just want to have a super powerful character with no real story arc and no flaws, basically a superhero. also people who name their characters ridiculous things that just aren't names. - Twelvies: twelvies tend to ruin most games they find their way onto, and we can only hope they don't find their way onto Identity. they are not only 95% of the time terrible roleplayers who would be better fitted to GTA V, but also they ruin the immersion and have very little maturity. - Hackers / Trolls: both of these can be dealt with easily, with staff intervention, but if there aren't any measures in place to deal with them I can see them becoming issues. Anyone else have any worries? Maybe staff can answer our worries? Thanks.
  11. Just curious who else plans on trying to become a police officer and or any line of law enforcement? I'm pretty stoked for this game, I keep looking more and more into it and I'm getting very excited but not to many of my real life friends like PC and or this type of game play, so I'm here looking for other people who are alike me and would like to get a group together to chat more about the game and perhaps have a group of friends to do stuff with when the game starts, pubs, etc. Maybe even a partner to fight crime with.
  12. Identity Life RPG

IDENTITY LIFE RPG As we all patiently and anxiously wait for the game, we have decided to get a head start on the Roleplay addition and slowly start to build a community that will be fully dedicated to roleplay with the best experiences the game will be able to offer. At this time we are not 100% sure what the game will include but that doesn't mean we can't prepare for it! This community will focus on hardcore roleplay building the best platforms for the community. As we are still a while from release this will give us time to build a strong community, have all the departments & establishments 100% ready to go for the game. As we heard the servers are expected to hold up to 200/300 players! That's one life mod experience we have been waiting for since day 1! So we are all excited and ready for this game. But to hold us over until release we are building this community, so if you are interested in taking part in this roleplay experience get signed up and become a registered civilian. We are indeed looking for staff so if you are interested in taking on a role, hop on over to the website and we will work something out. Look forward to seeing you join! http://www.identityliferpg.com/
  13. rp group/server plans anyone?

hello, just wondering what everyone plans on doing for groups in identity? wither it be gang related, police, artists, the government or full server related groups based on the roleplay side. all of this based on the launch of the game for some idea of a good place to start on day one. as someone not the most experienced in roleplay in this genre (mainly warcraft rp) it'd be great to have an idea of the groups people plan on.
  14. Hi all, The trailer mentions independent communities that can be hosted for IdentityRPG, similar to how the SA:MP model works where communities host their own servers separate to the main servers such as heavy role play, death match, racing. Is anyone interested in creating a heavy roleplay community? I have the funds to host a website and pay for the server upon the games official release. What would you like to see in a stand alone RP community?
  15. Hi guys! I was so happy when I got your mail! I am so looking forward to this awesome game. I backed it on Kickstarter the second I saw it and am patiently waiting and stalking you on identitys FB page, liking every new photo, post, anyhing and everything. So again, very excited to be here and to be a part of this awesome project! Cheers! This was the welcoming part. Feel free to stop there. Here is something longer about my roleplay gaming experiences. Probably nobody is gonna be interested in that, but still. Can't hurt, right Roleplay gaming history: Used to play alot of roleplay DayZ (about a year), then got addicted on Amarok servers of Altis Life (Arma 3 Roleplay mod) (about half a year), then played a little on Asylum servers aswell. Then played a little Arma 3 Life. Tried some H1Z1, but 98% of people did not even try to roleplay. I spent most of my RP gaming on amazing Amarok, which was glorious. From my year or so playing DayZ I learned that like money, loot is, was and will be (lost ) again. You loot some, kill some, die, repeat. After a month, that was not for me anymore. All I did was I met people and talked to them, creating unique interactions. Some deserved to be killed, some to be helped. It heavily depended on my mood and on behavior of others. The point is I did not loot and loot and loot. I seized opportunities to create friends and enemies. All while roleplaying, having fun and enjoying every bit of it. In Altis life on Amarok, I spent most time by doing what some players would consider wasting time, and others would consider it "the true enjoying of roleplay". Basicaly, I did not even try to earn any money. I just stayed in the middle of Kavala (main city) and talked to people. There were some kidnapings, some murders, some robberies, some arguing with cops, some honest earning money with random people. I just walked the path that was suddenly set before me by my mood and other's. Someone kidnaped me? I played along and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed every second of Altis. So yeah, I am pretty hyped for Identity. I backed it on kickstarter the moment I found it, thanks to some random dude on Amarok Gaming who told me about it.
