Don't put that in your notes, future law enforcement officers!

So @TheDynasty has just posted a video and he showed a demo of clothing stores in Identity. I think it looks pretty cool you guys can check out his video here: Not sure if it's real or not but if it's real it looks pretty good and if it's fake, well it looks pretty good. Either way I think you guys should give it a look.

Maybe lower the amount of courses provided. I'm mostly refering to the language degrees (english, french, spanish) as it won't have a use in the game. Besides that everything looks great! Do you have a plan for scholarships, dormitories, sports?

Looking good brother, see you on the roads soon, stay sharp.

My top 5 biggest annoyances in any multilayer role play game. The Russian - people who do a bad Russian accent to seem more menacing. The mute - people who have no mic in 2017, but there character 'has no voice anyway' so it's alright. (How many people have you EVER met that are mute) The mass murderer / hardened military person - the guy who goes round killing everyone, then tries to role play it out, because they think it's fun to ruin everyone else's experience. These people are always dripping in camo clothing and have had world class gun training (how realistic). The drug dealer - fair enough, these role play games are generally based around drug smuggling and making money illigally (I think identity is no exception) but this character is always VERY overplayed. I've never, EVER met a drug dealer IRL, but hey, maybe I live on the nice side of town? God mode - the players who turn every situation around (using role play, usually text chat) to benefit their own character. These people never seem to die or get injured because they always have a trick up there sleeve like "picks lock and escapes unharmed". Personally, if the interaction is fun / funny / interesting, and I end up dieing to good role play, it's more fun than surviving through shoddy workarounds. On the whole, these games or servers are normally ruined by people with a lack of imagination. Poor imagination is ok! But using poor role play on top of that becomes very frustrating for other people. That's why I like role play on Twitch, it's not that server rules protect from bad experiences, it's that the level of quality role play is much higher because there is an audience. I'm not salty, im just bored of seeing huge potential ruined by unrealistic encounters and interactions. Discuss?

Hello everyone. I would like to present an idea that I got after reading some sports topics on identity. I present you Sports Association in Identity - SAI The SAI will be an organizer of 4 sports modality (or less, it depends). The organization will be done through a blog (afk) where it will be possible to find dates of the next games, seasons calendars, results of previous games and also some information about the hirings and changes of cast of the teams. We will have a TV channel (twitch) where the matches will be transmitted. (I still do not know which are the days and times of transmission will be and I do not know if it will have a narrator.) Our method of obtaining money to pay our employees and also to pay the prizes of the winning teams of each modality will be through advertisements of companies interested in advertising in our TV channel. We will also partner with apparel companies to produce the uniforms of each team (teams will pay for this), uniforms may be stamped corporate sponsorships. I can not yet give certain values because I do not know how the real economy will be in game What do you think? Can it work, yes or no? Why? I tried to detail the maximum because if I can not make it real, I hope someone does. I'm sorry for bad English (translate-google), I'm a lazy and I did not study English as I should have. I'm so hyped for this game!!!!!!

Nice clickbait article. I like how that article says the PC version of GTA 5 isn't out yet, yet it has been out for a long time. It's not an old article either, 11 hours ago.

Most definitely. From a player-oriented perspective, one could sign a written contract with the individual in order to ensure that the subject fulfills the terms of the contract. One could contact a lawyer and summon the entity to court for failing to abide by the terms of the contract. If the civil judge determines that the accuser is capable of providing evidence confirming that the individual did not fulfill the terms of the contract, the individual could be forced to pay the fees. Otherwise, the individual would be incarcerated for committing acts of theft. It could be easily implemented from a player-oriented perspective.

Well im going to buy atleast passport and beta pass but i have a few questions before i do! If i only get the "Founder" and no house/apartment, how do i live? Sleep on the streets? Another Q is how will the timeline be ingame? Will it be realtime so when im at work IRL i miss work ingame and get no salary or? Will the only way to succed in this game be to have no IRL job and sit and play 24/7? Thanks in advance and i cant tell u devs how much i love ur work! Best Regards Jimmy

In the townsquare module you will have a small appartment. In the full game you will start in a hotel and after, you live on the streets until you can afford a house/appartment.

As my person had stated earlier: " How about the idea that local businesses utilize their resources and services to profit from the amusement park or fair? For example, a food company produces, transports, and distributes their pies, cookies, or burgers to citizens within the amusement park. In the process, politicians utilize the time to conduct speeches or organize tabling at the event in order to promote their political campaign. Finally, musicians utilize their time to perform on a stage that is located within the park etc...Such roles could exist as "staff members" of the amusement park or fair. Edit: As for rides, the rides could be controlled by the AI rather than players. "

Remember that map is an older representation of it, apparently its bigger and abit different. But like i said, carnival would rather suit, if it spawned in on a soccer field or some sort of grounds for it, and it was like hosted as an event once a week or once a fortnight/month, so its exclusive, and have it run by AI and players can come and mess around with it.
  25. 1 point
Id like to welcome you and your club and wish you the very best with your journey brother, hopefully one day we will meet
  26. 1 point
No, the cars are the last thing the developers will be working on pretty much and that is why the racing module is the last module before beta. The Town Square module won't have enough space for you to drive a car as it is a closed off area which only includes the Town Square. It is a social module.

This is completely ridiculous! How many times to people have to say age does not determine everything. Kracken you make it seem like you are above every person in the world that is younger than you which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I guarantee you that even though you may have been on the earth longer than some of us that it does not mean that you have a better outlook on life. I am 15 years of age myself, maybe we are still learning and trying to figure out who we are as a person but you are criticizing PrezLegend on simply his age! I respect your viewpoints and your service however please don't act like you are above everyone that is younger than you it is really not a good quality to have. I understand that some kids our age are immature and don't quite understand a lot of who they are but that's ridiculous to assume that since those kids are immature as well as irresponsibile that every other child that age would be irresponsible and not up for tasks as well.

I didn't see if this was on here but my idea is to minimize RDM. Let's say the karma stat scales from -1000 to +1000, and everyone starts at +100 karma. (numbers are examples) There's going to be people who will kill on sight for fun and like to be chased by cops. This system is to stop trolls from doing it all the time, not allow serial killers to play paintball, enter the cinema, not allowing them to enter public places if his/her karma is low enough. I'm not sure if there is a supreme court type system, if there is, then the judge will determine how severe the crime was, and will sentence the criminal to jail and lowering the persons karma. That's where jail time comes in, lower your karma the longer you stay in jail (if caught). That's why there are activities in jail to keep you occupied until time is served. Just like real life, committing multiple crimes result in longer jail time, a murder can be 25 years to life, robbing a store or bank can be around 10 years. The person who served time, his/her karma stat will reset to 0 at the end. Losing karma would be easier than gaining karma, hopefully this will have people stop and think before doing something illegal. The karma system can be more complex if you allow it, next to your personal karma stat, there is a karma stat for the groups/factions gangs, police, civilian. If you do stuff for the group you join, you'll gain karma which will unlock skills or perks. This could be explained more but I'm short on time so I will leave it at that, I made this post before but it said I wasn't allowed to post (think I wasn't logged in) and I explained more. Then it deleted everything I said. lol

My person agrees with the idea that subjects should possess the ability to discover "rare animals" that are on the brink of extinction, such as a rare moose, wolf, fish etc... for hunters and fishermen. In the process, it would be interesting if certain farmers would to eventually dig a hole within their property in order to discover oil that could be worth an abundance of wealth. Finally, divers and diggers could eventually unravel treasure chests, artifacts, rare gems and pearls etc...

    Calm down guys. Peace out.

It's a compelling case.. perhaps before you can rate a community you have to have an X amount of play time on that community; Most trolls probably won't stick around for a week before rating a community and by then you should have a fair opinion of the general role-play provided and enforced by that community. Also, every user has an ID, so I imagine the ID can be "rated".. but again trolls. I personally support the idea of a server rating system over a player rating system, just thought I'd bring it up for discussion.

Nice to meet you Lil Fish and thanks you for you're service as an LEO it a very difficult job and thanks is not given enough for what you all do for us here back home. I love the idea of real life experience officers being involved with the start of the police department but I also think experienced PD role players and just plan old civilians should all be involved with the PD launch. Reason I say this real life experience would bring more of the structure, roles of officers, and communication of officers. The experienced role players would contribute their knowledge of what has worked in the past, what does not work, and what they have experienced in other places. Civilians with no experience are essential mainly due to the PD's demand sooner or later we run out of the experienced officers and will rely on training new people in hopes that one day those new officers will be the ones training new recruits to keep the cycle and the PD going strong.

(you'll need a anti static bracelet to avoid the components death by touching it. the body is always loaded and can hit the components with many thousand volts. a component is geting fu acked up at 30 volts) first of all, how much do you want to spend? second thing: don't believe anyone! a i5 processor in the 4000 range is enough for gaming. most of the original not fake ones got a inbuild cooler. if you want a better one a cooler by cooler master t4 should be enough (you know what, just ask the guy who sells the pc components. i don't know what coolers are available in the usa). you should of course use a good/expensive thermo paste. it's worth it. you can google for tutorial videos. Radeon vs. Geforce? you have to decide. in my opinion geforce is better because more games are optimized for it. a "geforce gtx" graphic card with more than 700 as number should be enough for medium settings. the ram should contain to the 8 gb ram at least 32 mb cache memory best thing to save is a hard disc drive with 500 gb and between 7200 and 10000 rpms are enough.... for the best form factor mainboard power supply and cables that are fiting to it you should use google, remember the ohmisch rules and to count the volts together with +25% to know what power supply you need

I think it'll be pretty dope if there were rare items that periodically spawn around the map. This would make treasure hunter a viable option for a career. Some indiana jones type shit. Devs already said they want to have some underwater elements. So you can go deep sea diving for some loot, or use a metal detector on a beach

Identity Forum Guidelines Last Edit: July 9th, 2018 Participation in the Official Identity forums constitutes agreement to the following guidelines, which apply to posts, profile information, avatars, signatures, private messaging, and any other content on this site and participation in general. The live nature of discussions in this community makes it difficult for staff to catch every violation of these rules. If you believe that someone has violated our User Guidelines, please send a private message to a member of our volunteer moderation team or staff with a link to the content and a brief description of what you believe is wrong. Please do not respond to a violation personally, as you may aggravate the situation and possibly violate our guidelines yourself. Any content that violates our User Guidelines will be removed. Interpretation of our guidelines is at the discretion of the staff. Please do 1. Report violations of the forum rules. Moderators will quickly review reports and make decisions based on the information you provide. 2. Respect others. Showing respect will encourage others to participate in discussion. 3. Like posts, that you feel contribute useful information to a discussion. 4. Read the rules, so that you do not accidentally receive an infraction or ban. 5. Be constructive. Help others by answering questions, and offer feedback to their ideas. 6. Read before posting. Fully Comprehend the topic of discussion and determine what has already been discussed. 7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Read your post before submitting. Spelling mistakes may attract attention away from the discussion. 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for! Please don’t 1. Troll. Trolling does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2. Spam. Spamming clutters the forum and makes it difficult to find original content. 3. Flame, or attack others. Insults do not contribute to discussion, and will be removed. 4. Repost Deleted Content. Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters. If you would like to report moderator abuse, contact a Community Manager directly. Creating public threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions is not permitted.*** ***Freedom of speech rights do not extend to privately owned websites, such as this one.
