5 pointsHey all, So while I know this was a thing on "Ye Olde Forumme", I thought it might be a good idea to provide quick way of accessing every screenshot and piece of concept art that the dev team releases on Facebook. Hopefully, I'll do my very best to keep it up-to-date, but don't hold your breath ;). If anyone finds any that aren't included here, feel free to put them in the comments. Thanks! Your chum, Felix.

3 pointsHey all, If anyone's getting the message "This image is too large" when they try to upload a signature to their account, try changing the size of said image on this site: www.picresize.com Simply give it the picture you want to change and then click Custom Size. Set the values to a minimum of 600x150 px, and try uploading it again. You should find that your problems have been fixed Hope this helps! Felix

3 pointsI honestly dont like the idea of everyone running their own servers (kind of ironic that i run my own servers :p) This type of game needs a large open world to work, i can see the sides will always skew towards crime based players .. you get to a point where its KoS and everything runs wild. Although i havent seen the in-game mechanics ... When people create their character, do they create their traits ... e.g a medic cannot use a gun ... i would prefer this to be MMO, you can probably support extra devs using in-game purchasing (not pay to win), subscriptions (pay for a better house... dont pay you get evicted). I see huge potential in this game but if you mix Offical with Community servers, there will be too many servers out there to really make use of the game. and dont get me started on hackers ... hope you have a plan for that as thats a real game killer.

3 pointsAny clue how that will be done? As I don't think a metal detector would work for that case alone. To keep criminals/civilians out of a desired place. Will there be any reputation system in place as well? Maybe that will be used to grant access to certain areas? Like if have a criminal reputation. You could walks up to once of those shady alley ways doors, and knock on it. And then, some NPC would open a small hatch in the door and peek outside. And if you're reputable enough, he'd open the door. Or send you away. I don't know though? Just my idea of how you could potentially have a criminal only hangout. Similarly, for law abiding citizens. You could have bouncers outside. Like a nightclub, who would only let you inside if you had a good reputation. And then, there's just the neutral zones which would use the metal detectors. You could also combine a meta detector with all of the locations to temporarily remove the weapons in any case. I don't know though. I just think those situations could be rather cool. Would also be awesome if, I, for example, as a detective. Could bribe my way inside of those shady nightclubs in order to investigate a case. Like in the movies. And then a massive bar fight breaks out. And I'd totally kick everyone's asses.

3 pointsThere were undercover vehicles in the ArmA life servers, based on that I do believe there are, though only high ranked officers probably are able to use them. I doubt customization will be a thing for police cars. Regular cars will allow it though, saw it in a video.

2 pointsHey all, If you had a presence on the previous site, you might remember me producing these comic strips (shown below) every now and again. I had only made 4 or 5, but in truth, the first one was the only one I liked and even that was produced in only a couple of minutes, but I've still decided to upload it today. Any thoughts?

2 pointsI was just wondering if any of you who already have rep (Felix, NutterButter etc) know how to get rep because Im not really sure how to, is it through number of comments, posts? Number of likes on comments, views on posts? I dunno help me out guys
-
2 pointsYeah I just found a post of John saying the initial 150k was literally a "kickstart" and it's being used to create a proof of concept to interest investors that they're already in talks with.

2 pointsFor those new to the scene, If the server infrastructure is developed correctly you can shoot out as many servers as you need, mainly the DB/resource aspect needs scaling, which can be done through Amazon Game Servers (i am a certified AWS engineer) .. which i believe is the best option for this MMO. To those who judge people on appearances, you will miss meeting a lot of good people ... alot of developers havent developed social skills, but have developed in other areas such as programming ... you know the saying, dont trust somebody in a suit... and last thing, if you dont have anything positive to say, why say it? it doesnt contribute to anything, shows your lack of understanding. How about we just focus on ideas and gameplay and leave politics out of this.

2 pointsGive it up dude, you got told, now stop trolling on the forum and trying to drag out an argument, just let it go, and continue exploring the forums and writing useful topics.
-
2 pointsHey man, you got my respect, you got a lot to add on this forum, and not just pointless stuff either, i love it. Seen what you told that kid, i wrote something after that, haha. Thanks man.

2 pointsI can't wait for this to come out and create our characters, and get a first look at what this awesome game will bring. The whole module thing is the best idea for this game.
-
2 pointsI know that for sure, there will be no NPC cars on the roads, but there might be some NPC run shops that you could probably rob, and say you are the owner of a store, and selling a product, instead of standing in your store bored, you could probably have an npc run it with your set prices.
-
2 pointsThis would be and interesting concept. No GUI, but just your character. I would not mind this at all, looking and clicking at your character's pockets and showing whats inside them, this would be cool, but i think i would still like to have hot keys like pulling a weapon, just to be more realistic in timing and reacting to situations.
-
2 pointsSaid better than i could, if you have negative stuff to say about another player on any forum anywhere, prepare to be hazed, and don't mess with NutterButter because he'll straight up mess you up.

2 pointsIf everybody can make their own server so easily there is no way we can fill up enough job positions on most servers then, there are so many jobs that have to be done and in most cases there wont be enough people to do them then. Obviously the problem can be fixed by joing a server with alot of people but I can already say ahead of time that the server browsing page will be filled with servers that have no more than 5 players in them

2 pointsI love the idea of there being an in-game internet, similar to GTA, where you can access a bunch of made-up websites, create your own or maybe, like you said, visit the forum.
-
2 pointsI'm sure like NutterButter said, People will probably create their own brand for items, and the other things will probably look like a brand you know, but not have the name. I'm sure they'd like the idea that the players create the world. That is how I see this whole thing working. They give us the tools, we create the world.
-
2 pointsI doubt that. They wouldn't get payed while they are off duty. I am a police officer in Texas in real life and I always carry a weapon when im off duty. I am also authorized, and expected, to make an arrest if I witness a crime even when im not in uniform. Like they say - a police officer is NEVER fully off duty.

1 pointWhat's going on everyone! My name is 157C (obviously, and it's very creative ), but if you see me around, all me Chris, and I take great pride in helping developers test their games, as well as I love being apart of communities that care as much as I do about video games . I'm a very active Beta tester for all kinds of games, such as, Triad Wars, Orcs Must Die! Unchained, Rainbow Six Siege (when it was in Beta), and many more! But anyways, you guys will be seeing me around a lot, I love giving my opinion on subjects that I find interesting or that might be needing of something more detailed/new. I also keep my post positive however, even if I'm replying to something I don't agree on, kind of like a Yes, and... attitude. Anyways, thanks for reading, I hope to be seeing people as active as I am/will be!!!
-
1 pointAwesome that you like the idea! Yes it's great when it gives another job opportunity, good one with the ticket as well. It would really teach people not to take their car for granted by just leaving them in the middle of the street. No one wuld do that irl.
-
1 pointHey everyone o/ Jack here, looking forward to seeing you all in the world sometime. When i get an apartment your free to drop round for a drink anytime!

1 pointIf i'm not completly wrong, a tow truck will be alerted. If no one comes, it despawns. Im pretty sure they wrote something like that on twitter.

1 pointForum name: FishFood2016 Website name: FishFood2016 In-game name: FishFood, if it has to be a real name then "Jack Moon" (<-- has always been my RP name) Position of interest: Logistics Manager Why?: You seem to be really organized already and I think it's a great idea to have a transport company like this. I don't know how many people are already in this company (maybe you could let me know). Experience: I'm really good at making routes and navigating around maps, and personally I think I'm pretty good at organizing the work environment. Past applicant: NO (If you want to contact me for questions or something, I have skype ts or even add me on steam just let me know)
-
1 pointThanks for being that guy Kevin. Haha. You're a pretty good person, full of positivity and kindness.
-
1 pointThe full release is set for late 2016, so the modules should come out months before that as there is 3 modules and they will probably release one a month, when close to the release date, or they might surprise us and release them way sooner.
-
1 pointI think places like bars, kareoke bars, dance clubs, and other social places like that, will be weapon free safe zones where PVP is disabled. So you can stand outside the bar late at night, and wait for that guy who beat you, and shank him in an alley as he is drunk.
-
1 pointWill there be a trucking/delivery job? Will there be a tow truck driver job? Will there be a taxi/bus driver job? These jobs will all be available in the game. Trucker job could be used legally, or illegally, whether your transporting regular goods to shops, or as NutterButter said, shipping drugs and weapons for a gang or crime family. I don't think there will be a park ranger and i think they will rely on the police for parks and things, although, they may add this as a division of the police, like wilderness patrol, as there will be animals such as bears and deer.
-
1 pointHey 157C! Glad to see you joined us, I have also played Orcs must die! Unchained and I might be putting too much time in R6....Hopefully I'll see you around on here!

1 pointI feel like a bit of a lembo for not knowing what your name meant. Great to meet you!
-
1 pointI'm not 100% sure, but if animals are in the game then a park ranger may be so to, as far as I'm aware, the game is anti-AI mostly so however you want to make money- be it delivering my drugs to the gangs or dropping me off at my lab, you can make money doing so.

1 pointhaha. sounds cool on paper, though a massive structure that non backers will NEVER be able to visit wouldnt be verry fun s'pose they could do a backer event or two, that'd be fun. backers are getting in game hats aswell, i have always been a fan of things that are in limeted supply ^^

1 pointyup, thats what i was going for. go for high class/rich targets, and see how the situation playes out. weather it ends up as a bloodbath, them handing the hostage over in exchange for less jail time and/or a small item of intrest, or maybe they will pay up giving you a fat stack of cash to further grow your criminal empire. just one small job can open up so much in identity i cant wait! its the game i have been craving for as long as i could use a pc
-
1 pointI think that's a fantastic idea, a gang can grab a business owner, hostiage style, and tied in a van, brought to a location where they're hidden until a payment is aquired, which, I feel a judge would be the best target, all of the jury members, and probably any cops too- if you can get them.
-
1 pointYes, this does sound amazing. It makes you feel excited. When you think. That after work, you could "call" your friends and go to your local cafe and have a drink and some to eat like you would in real life! Hopefully these small little features will be in here. Such as leaning against walls, cars etc. Its the little things that can make the big difference. But I feel like the developers know what people want and are trying to go as wide as possible with what they got!
