I don't think most will be disappointed, and I do think most will be able to sit through. I have just noticed that when big YouTubers discover games in early development, they either never leave development, or end up mediocrely made in the end. Some examples are Overgrowth (Idubbbz), Enforcer: Police Crime Action (Jacksepticeye), and even Yandere Simulator (Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, PewDiePie, Others). Yandere Simulator is still in-development, I think, but nobody hears about it anymore. It could just be a coincidence, but I think when millions of people see a game in-development (with not a lot of activities right off the bat), people grow tired and bored of it after hearing about it from YouTubers non-stop, and move on, leaving a development team making something that has already been a trend and will more than likely never be one again. I, for one, wouldn't grow tired of Identity. I just hope that this game doesn't blow up before at least the Beta, but hopefully it blows up at final release.

The devs are delusional to think they can perfect a pre-alpha build, especially since this is their first game . Module 1 is definitely going to be buggy and maybe unstable. The dev blogs should be informative on the development of the game or website and we are getting none of that. Just one concept art a month. Which should make anyone even a bit suspicious. The team is being particularly quiet these past weeks. They promised for transparency and they gave us a tracker that is extremely vague and needs to be updated manually and they blame another company for slowing them down which is very unlikely because this team is very incompetent.

Just that. In light of the TS Module being delayed (again), and it apparently being so close to being finished. One would think that you would see some more gameplay videoes and screenshots coming from the devs to whet the appetite of those excited and to calm the nerves of those skeptical. It's just a weird choice not too release more in my opinion. Thoughts?

Like I have said numerous times: You did not purchase a product, you made a donation. You should have been aware that this game is in-development by a small team, and that it takes a while. The second you donated, you joined the development wagon. The developers haven't stolen anything. And frankly, accusing them of being a scam because you weren't delivered an item you were not promised is simply childish.

I am also pretty sure that there will be someone that will be the operator type of guys, I know more than likely there will probably be a certain station or something you can go to as a cop so you will be able to talk to other cops, There will be a use of NPC'S because there is not ALWAYS going to be someone on duty as operator and what not. We seen in the video release, The guy says " I need back up " when he says this he says it not sounding like a NPC or in game character so there is probably a push to talk button you use to alert other cops, cant wait! DISCLAIMER: Everything in this post is a concept and will not reflect the finished business plans and features. Welcome to the Velocity Logistics business plan. We are a logistics company that will strive towards building a solid and stable logistics core in a domestic and commercial way. Our aim will be to tackle our clients needs by offering them logistical solutions. The services that we will provide will range from, but are not limited to: ➤ Supply Chain Management ➤ Document Courier Service ➤ Logistical Solutions & Advice ➤ Home & Office Removal Service ➤ Commercial Delivery ➤ Domestic Delivery ➤ Specialty Delivery ➤ Heavy Haulage For more information, see "Future Technology" section of the post. (Video created by @Zebra) At this time as we do not have a feel for the games economy or market. So the financial department has decided not to release pricing until the games release or until more information is released about how the games economical systems may work. Below is the Start-up Cost sheet as of now for Velocity Logistics. These are subject to change due to the variability of costs in game. These are just estimates and does not include a pro forma (projected) profit and loss statement or a pro forma (projected) balance sheet. Those will be added after the economy in-game has been flushed out properly. Anyone looking to invest should contact @MichaelPayne or @VelocityLogistics. - Andrew, Financial Director This vehicle will be used for everyday delivery for both domestic and commercial operations: This vehicle will be used for high-priority & express delivery, again, for both domestic and commercial sectors: For heavy haulage, long distance and larger cargo, the vehicle shown below will be used: For commercial and domestic removal service, including homes and offices, the vehicle below will be used: To ensure that there is no delay in our operations, we have decided to implement our own maintenance division which will include these vehicles shown below: The future technology section is to showcase our ideas for future mods for when mod support is added in Identity. Whether it be vehicle technology or a pseudo global warming mechanic. See below for some of our current ideas. The above images show a custom in-vehicle operating system that allows the driver to log in with their unique credentials provided to access an array of custom features including delivery schedule, navigation maps, important updates from HQ, panic button, SOS breakdown recovery (and more). We would also like to implement a custom "Start/Stop" system, acting as a type of AFK mechanic. So if your vehicle is left unattended or idling for more than 15 seconds, the engine will cut off and then will automatically resume when the accelerator is pressed. This will save fuel and add immersion. Here is the PDA that we plan on using for our drivers when they are delivering goods. Our warehouse will be modern, in a vast and easily accessible area to meet all of our storage and operational needs. Exterior: Interior: This is our high detailed warehouse plan, it was made with full efficiency and productivity in mind. We took numerous hours to plan and assemble the blueprint. See numbered legend for specific details on each room. The office building will be the back-bone of our company, so we want to make sure it's comfortable and stylish for our employees. Exterior: Interior: Here at Velocity Logistics, security is of the up-most importance. So it is vital to us that we keep our customers belongings and logistics safe. To ensure this all employees will have a ID card for access to our warehouses and offices. The plan I have envisioned for Velocity Logistics is a consistent and efficient security procedure which will allow for smooth operations in any situation. Now I know that data protection is a very worry-some topic among businesses, so here at Velocity Logistics, all of our data centers will be kept securely in an isolated room with 24/7 surveillance and if that isn't enough, all electrical devices will have anti intrusion software which changes it's algorithms to match whatever type of cyber attack is happening. As stated above, all the employees will be given a special key card, with higher authority allows access to more places. Our warehouses will be fitted with hidden CCTV with facial recognition. As for our delivery vehicles, they will have GPS tracking integrated inside, as well as alarms. - Jin, Security Director Our uniform will be sleek, modern and comfortable. In addition it will be practical for all our staff. The full list of all our current partners may be viewed on our website here. Will there be any like High Rise luxury offices like GTA Online or anything? For me it'll be a place to get on the large PC setup, conduct business, investing, conduct meetings this and that. We would like purchase a like large space in a building/skyscraper and build it into a office. Few examples: I know its gta but still

I agree discord is a very good communication platform, but I have a lot of experience with both discord and teamspeak and personally I find that teamspeak works better for large groups of people, at least for voice communication, although discord definitely has a better setup with there normal chat channels.

daner, do you live in the stone age? people dont use teamspeak anymore, i'd recon. Identity got a discord you can join tho. Subway, how do you know you wouldn't get tired of identity? Maybe you will:p

I would say optimistic. It is always a matter of opinion.

They’re still working on the game! The devs have started over twice, due to them wanting to increase their standards. Check out the task tracker, to see how close we are to the TS release.

Hey I love the optimism from early 2017 about this game, just wondering that after yet another delay with no new release date is the optimism still there or has people eventually realising that the Devs have made off with over £1,000,000 worth of your cash. This game has been talked about since 2016 and it's now 2018 and there is still not even the poxy town square yet. #beenrobbbedbutblindedbytheprospect

1 wil police radios have realistic ranges? like car radio a good range vs handheld only a few blocks 2 i heard the devs say in a streamvod that police from every district can respond to crime all over the map. will officers from the area have priority in receiving dispatch requests? 3 if cops can't arrest and ticket people for things they haven't done because of the flagging system, what prevent cops from trying to throw tickets and arrests at them untul they find one that sticks?

I will indeed be running, as I imagine you will be too. However, it does seem like we share many of the same ideas which I'm sure means we could help each other out on occasion (as I said above) whilst also running against each other.

Games get delayed for the better not for the worse! The game is being created by a small team and well the timeline which they gave was optimistic I think as it was not do-able as games of this size take at least 3 years to perfect with a small team. The devs recently hired another full time dev which so the progress for the first module is moving forward but the progress bar is manually updated and that is only done when the devs feel they have hit a milestone in development progress towards the module. Be patient as games come better when you take the time in the development and well rushing a game makes the games *shit*. The more delays, are for the better even if we don't get it for a long time as it just shows they are perfecting the game more. I know it looks like it is a scam that way but if you have faith then you will not regret it when they do release. As it was said above, Module 1 is set to release soon.

The past months here at the studio have been hectic, but our labors are paying off. It is with regret that I must make the decision to push back the public release of the Town Square module from April 23; however, the delay will be quite minor. Because this is now the second delay to an official firm release date, and because we expect this delay to be short-lived, we are as of this announcement releasing the Asylum Task Tracker. The new task tracker, visible on the Town Square section of the official website (here's a link for you), offers the Identity community and fans absolute transparency in our development progress. You can now see the tasks we have to complete before we're ready for the module to be publicly available. It will be updated each and every day. The list is not long, and displays all tasks since the tracker was created only a day ago. When all of the tasks are completed, of which none are major, Town Square will be released on Steam and available for play. Furthermore, the new Identity website is on schedule for a release just next week! The new website will come with all sorts of cool new features and we'll be building on it constantly as we move forward, too. With the release of the new website, I'm also going to begin regular Identity Insider releases. These Insider publications will add a ton of very detailed information on key systems within Identity. Delays are unfortunately a reality of all game development, whether a game is being produced by a large studio with hundreds of developers or a small team, such as ours, with only dozens. We faced unforeseeable technical issues recently; however, all of the issues we had have been fully resolved and, as you can see with the new tracker, release is extremely close. As soon as we get some final bits of art in place, we're going to compile a Town Square trailer video and begin showing off the game and environments on our development streams. So to sum it all up, keep an eye on the new tracker (see that link above) and follow our progress. The tracker will be updated once per day as it has to be done manually. Once we get our production software updated so that it can be automated, it'll be a live display. I also want to say that you to our loyal community and fan-base. Delays are never a fun thing to experience with any game, so everyone here in the studio is working overtime like crazy to get you into our world. You'll be in the Town Square very soon and this is going to make the game a much better experience. I'm really excited for our first module release as it's shaping up to be a really fun and beautiful experience. In fact, the Town Square is much more than I even though it would have been early on; I'm extremely happy with what we've put together. I hope you enjoy the peak behind the scenes with the new task tracker and we'll be seeing you in the square soon!
