2 pointsJust a thought, I'm a San Diego Officer and I also own my own restaurant, Is there anyway we could have a career but run a business on the side? Also, can you also make food trucks a thing, would love to recreate my business.
-
2 pointsFlag is a term for a toggle. It's not meant in a literal sense. This means only that the police now have the ability to charge or arrest you for that crime. Also note that private servers can disable this to give full freedom to the police.

2 pointsare trunks the ONLY place we can store in vehicles? could we smuggle weapons / drugs in OTHER places other than the trunk?
-
2 points@Vix, you're awesome for digging through all of my tweets to provide context here on the forums!

2 pointsI'm not going to join the police, but it is a very interesting job indeed! According to the twitter as a cop you have a partner you work with. You can't be an undercover cop but also no civilian can disguise themselves and be fake cop- they won't be able to buy or steal a police uniform, steal a police car or even steal a cop's equipment! Other interesting things about police are how they locate a crime scene, have criminal records, are split between regions, can move from region to region, are limited when it comes to how many can be on duty at the same time and can only arrest "flagged" killers.

2 pointsThe policing career is the most in-depth of all the careers in Identity because it serves a very important role in the game as a whole. When you first start out as a rookie cop, you'll begin patrolling and responding to dispatch calls. If there's a dispatcher online you can speak to them directly with your radio and if not it's handled by an automated system. As you progress you can unlock additional perks in the policing career and eventually you can experience new specialty roles like detective, SWAT, and so on. A police officer can only ticket or arrest another player for something they are known to have committed. If a cop sees you speeding down the road, he then has the opportunity to ticket you. If he turns on his emergency lights and you refuse to pull over for him, the system will now allow him to charge you with resistance. That is, at the base level, how the system functions. Private servers have the option to remove all restrictions and leave it up to the discretion of the officer, although this system keeps the police in-line. A lot more information on policing will be available on the website very shortly. I just had to hide about half of this thread since it was completely off-topic arguing. Let's try to keep that to the private messages.

2 pointsI'm not a developer, but I believe they want the police career to be pretty in depth, and we would more than likely need that considering the type of crimes that can be committed in Identity.

1 pointWe at Asylum Entertainment are very excited to tell you, our community, how you will be able to get into the game sooner than you think! Identity's modules are small portions of Identity which will be released before Identity is ready for the world. This lets you experience part of the game months sooner than otherwise possible. The first module you'll be getting your hands on is a social environment which we've called Town Square. The Town Square will include all major social components, and will allow you to finally create and customize your characters. You can meet hundreds of new people and explore several cool features of the peaceful city life. For more details on Town Square, check out the modules page on the Identity website. Following the release of Town Square you'll experience SWAT player versus player action and eventually vehicle races of all sorts. We'll be bringing you more information on the modules as they progress!

1 pointHello, It appears that I have accidentally backed this game... JK I'm super excited about this game and can't wait until the Beta! -North

1 point1. Confirmed SLI support. 2. Map will be 225km2 and will take about an hour to cross on foot, so it is pretty big. 3. There will be customizing, tuning and racing. 4. Done. 5.. There will be police training before letting them join the force on official servers. 6. Done. 7. It's possible, but might work slower than if done on farms. 8. There will be pets, but they'll be only in apartments at first and it's not yet confirmed if they'll be added before or after launch. I don't think they'll add dragons... It's a modern realm. 9. There will be paintball, mini games and sports. Pretty sure they've mentioned darts either in a video or an interview on youtube. 10. There actually was a huge thread with Easter Eggs ideas on the old forum! Not sure about buried treasures lol. 11. There will be boats, diving and even scuba gear. And an ocean, of course! 12. Yup. 13. There's a suggestion about this on forums, so maybe!

1 pointDefinitely. I'll be like in 1% of strippers with female voices. That's a valuable contact right there!

1 point@Kickapoo ok forget it. let's just say identity is awesome and we'll all continue stalking @Motown @Paratus and friends?

1 pointAfter pleasuring the store owner for the remainder of the night, he gave the group a selection of the finest purple apples. However the Isis militants queuing outside before the store was open the next morning were the least bit happy to see a non middle eastern male and two ogres getting served before them. They kicked the door down and began throwing explosive tennis balls at the group, while screaming "Allahu Ackbar!" During this Kevin decided it would be a good idea to.....
-
1 pointNo answer to that tbh, don't think there's a tweet about it. ^u^ It's highly unlikely he would... Seems a bit paranoid. <.< >.>
-
1 pointNah. I'd find it extremely annoying if my character had it's 2nd own voice, because there's no way it'd sound like mine and it'd drive me crazy if I was talking like "Hi, how are you doing?" and my character would simultaneously go "Hmmm" or something. There'd be weird things like old man with a very elderly, low voice suddenly saying "Ouch!" in a 20-year old higher pitched voice and all of that.

1 pointI prefer 3rd person too ^^ Feels weird just to be a pair of floating eyeballs and hands. And I really like looking at my character doing stuff when I play! I spend a long time in character creators.

1 pointStill no. Other people would have to know if you're in passive or not. Imagine a mugger coming up to you with a gun in an empty street and he's all like "Give me all your money or I'll kill you!" and you just... walk off because you're in passive? He shoots you and nothing happens, just wasted bullets? What about bank robberies? Criminals wouldn't be able to take "passived" people hostage because they'd be immortal. Or everyone could just go into Settings, change into passive and walk out like nothing happened. Death and injuries give the game realism and they make a lot of scenarios exciting, scary and enjoyable. What they're doing are "safe zones". Maybe in a private server's settings you could make the whole game non-lethal, but official servers won't be god-moded.

1 pointYes, but you will be following her and killing anyone you see as a threat to your vix daydream. I on the other hand am perfect in every single way. *has a series of horrible flashbacks* it has come to my attention that Vix is a testimonial against that lie, and so I retract it.

1 pointAs @KevinLangston woke up and leaned over to the side of his bed to turn off the alarm, he felt the blanket lift as Shrek began to rub Kevin's back.
-
1 pointBut what if the Langston elected a low-key member and the congress consisted of the high heads of the Langston family... They'll have more power than ever

1 pointBeing a kid has nothing to do with respect. Nor do I have an official title regarding a "mafia" title. Visiting a business is not being creepy it is showing interest of their work.

1 point@xVAULTxDWELLERx Police work is actually an integral part of the game, well from what I've seen and heard so far anyway. The developers have discussed a realistic career path for those interested law enforcement and have even shown vehicles, uniforms and weaponry that other players won't have unless in the force like tasers and so on. They've also said you can have your own special Police vehicle with a laptop you can use to search up player details, radars, sirens, search lights and the list goes on. Actually I think even their overall approach to Policing design and gameplay is better than what Police 10-13 have proposed for their simulator game.
