Hey who would like to start a Religious Cult? We can live in the woods and sacrifice the unclean to our creator.

There will be quite a few servers for Town Square, located all around the world. Town Square servers have a player limit, but we'll have a whole lot of them active for the first days of the release and we'll add/remove them as we see demand requires. We'll try to make sure that if a queue does happen, it won't be a long wait to get in.

(b) Every individual has freedom to start business of his own choice. (c) All economic activities are guided by the motive of profit. (d) Individuals are the owners and acquire property and pass it on to next heir after death. (e) Government has little role to play in the functioning of the economy. Prices of goods and services are determined by the market forces of demand and supply. Important Business Information Tax on businesses is 10% on company profit. After employees have been paid, inventory bought, etc. Depending on what the company reports as profit a business could nearly have no tax! The Tale of Lucious Times Lucious grew to be homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In a city of crime Lucious had to be on the lookout at every turn. In Lucious' young life he grew to be very aware of the crime filled city and knew he had to do something to ensure his safety. At 15, Lucious started an organization with a few neighborhood boys called "The Peacekeepers". These boys were brutal. They cleaned the streets of crime in the most direct ways possible. Showing up to criminal hideouts and wasting away every member present, making fake visits to prisons and jails to poison and eliminate those criminals on the inside, making appointments with the LAPD to let THEM know how things would be done. The Peacekeepers were vigilantes at the finest. The city soon had a crime rate so low new schools were being built and more people migrated to the lovely city of Los Angeles. Through all the harsh deeds The Peacekeepers had done Lucious never was present for the actual action. He was the mastermind, the planner, the brain of the whole operation. Sitting behind a desk as leader of The Peacekeepers. Oh how things looked great! Lucious had made something out of nothing and became a city icon and hero as he grew older. Though soon, things made a turn for the worst. Lucious' closest partner, his beautiful fiance was capture by a man known by the name Gustavo Fring. A now well-known high profile methamphetamine drug lord. He did so because by cleaning up the city Lucious made distribution for Mr. Fring come to a complete stop in the area. Lucious grew furious, so furious he began to walk into a whole new light. The Peacekeepers became a weapon at Lucious' disposal. He thought long and hard and then finally had a plan. After finding where Fring was located Lucious and his team of over 200 men approached the location, guns loaded and ready for anything. However, Fring was already aware of Lucious' presence and decided to retaliate. Fring killed Lucious' fiance, then sent out total war upon Lucious and his men. In the end only two men were left standing; Fring and Lucious. After few words, Lucious caught leverage and killed Fring. Though Lucious was severely injured by gunshot. He called the LAPD. With quickness, Lucious was saved and had chance to speak with the LAPD Chief of Police. He thanked Lucious for his doings and after a long conversation of tears the chief left. Lucious began to realize how much he'd loss. All his men, his fiance, his hold on the city from crime all gone! Three weeks later Lucious walked out of the hospital, grab all $789,211 he'd raised with his people, and began to leave town for a new home. A place called Turtle Beach on Identity Island. However, when he got to the town line he found something waiting for him. Over half the city was standing their with gold-colored gold-scented candles. Some of them stood to give thanks, but many stood ready to follow him wherever he went. A woman by the name of Dorris Jean approached Lucious and told him this: "We give these candles to represent who you are to the city. Forever will you be the gold we all love, the gold we all know has provided, the gold we all know will pay the price. For to us you are a leader and friend. For you have become like royalty in this city. And with you royalty we be your royal family." Lucious was proud. All negative feelings previous washed away. Lucious now felt the obligation to continue to lead. For he knew he was wise and could give great leadership. This time he wouldn't limit himself to the leadership of a groups of boys who run a city, no. That was below him now. Now he needed to lead in higher heights where he could have greater impact and influence. A position of power such as Governor would do the trick! So he then decided to venture into the political field of leadership once he arrived in his new home. A few hours later after a celebratory evening Lucious and the now called Royal Family left. 12 days later they arrived in Turtle Beach on the Identity island and the rest is soon to be foretold...

RP STORY OF VITO PALLAZZOLO Born Vittorio Pallazzolo in Bari, southern Italy, a few streets away from Carmelo Barbero and Frank Luprano's relatives. He was son of a construction manager with long work days and poor payment. Vito's father, Alfonso Palazzolo, was also an amateur boxer who was a strong head of the family. Vito loved boxing as well, just like his father and was not afraid of blood. Slowly, step after step, his mother, Luciana Palazzolo (name meaning: light) strove to achieve her life goals; becoming a mathematic-teacher (she loved the handling of numbers and people) and having self-employment, she was always devoting her energy and time to new areas of income: no matter if it was real estate, precious metals, precious stones, new business investments and taking advantage of untapped business niches (bakery in a place, where people need one...). Vito Palazzolo had a great mix between the endeavor of logical thinking, independent education and hard work. His father died early at a work accident. This layed a huge amount of responsibility on Vito. He was forced to become an adult and his mother was overwhelmed with this situation. She gave Vito a huge amount of money – just in hope he wouldn't see her falling deeper and deeper :she threw her money away, drunk during the daytime and losing her discipline to keep her business running. One day she bought wine in a gas station, was drunk, happy, laughing, and walked out into the street, not watching the traffic into a car, which put her body in the oncoming traffic and she was hit by a truck. Vito got his master in chemistry at the age of 22. It was a great balancing act between the research of new areas (drugs), improving the process of known drugs and the legal work in the laboratory as a researcher (not well paid, but a safe place). Vito quickly recognized that the changing of the world begins with him: He had to see: In problems the freedom of decision. In decisions - their consequences and possible outcomes. In errors - learning and trying again with a better start - which in turn lead to success. He will always be as modest as his mother, no one will ever know how much power and money is working in the background. The security over money stands: Dead people are not able to spend their million of dollars. You should work as hard as possible without putting yourself in danger, think in larger time intervals, and let the money work for you. Discipline daily to work on future goals was vital for Vito. The way you present yourself, your appearance, gestures, facial expression - is your self-confidence. Vito acknowledged three key questions in his day to day business; What is time-consuming? What is profit? What is dangerous? Protecting the family is the most important: therefore he had no problems to sell his drugs in foreign countries. He was not a gun nut, they were only a means for the purpose; protection and solving “problems”. He always solves his problems personally, if necessary, with his hands. He was quick to realize that he could not achieve everything on his own, so he joined the Luprano family through connections in Bari, and eventually came over to the island, after proving his loyalty during various tasks. With the first orders he realized quickly that violence did not irritate him, he could shoot people without hesitation but the thrill of making money with his mind is what gave him his adrenaline rush.Vito wanted to work for the office of the consigliere, which seemed to him in an unachievable distance, but was his goal. Due to his negotiating skills, the nickname "Snake" was awarded to him. He can judge people well and therefore also manipulate well psychologically. He was a great actor, even to people to whom he desires death; he could surrender and be friendly and, if necessary, give the death penalty - which made him an unpredictable weapon. His enemies can not look into him, but their are feeling of him has to be fully illuminated. He was struggling to move to the next step as early as possible, he had a healthy balance between philosophy and action. Now his attitude and skills in life keep all doors open for him.

There has been a recent growth in political population. Between mayor candidates, governor candidates, and citizens who choose to use their voice more overall involvement has increased. THIS IS GOOD, but due to the different mindsets and lack of education on some issues an explosion of disrupt in peace has sprouted. It is evident who the leading politicians are ( @ThomasHetch, @BobbyCruz, @JoelKeys & @LuciousTimes [myself] ) and every single one of us has one shared goal, ensure our policies provide a good life for EVERY CITIZEN on the Identity Island! It's simple! We all have a different way of going about things, BUT we all want the same thing. In this form, I want everyone that desires to have a part in the politics of Identity to discuss the following topics in the following order in order to build or at least see and analyze what policies work best. The politics that will matter in the game are: Taxes, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Crime Punishments We will all discuss the first topic ( Taxes ). After together we have come to build something most favorable I will conclude the topic and we may then move to the next. I hope this builds peace amongst the people of Identity and foundation for the game once built. May @Motown and the other developers find favor with this.

As you can see, the forum is constantly polluted with fraudulent topic creations, looking for better referencing on the web through forums, and trying to sell us their "products". Moderators do everything possible to delete these messages / topics. For your security, the security of your bank account, and your computer, here are some basic tips about these spam: - NEVER go over the links proposed in these topics. - Do not click on the topics in question. (Except for reporting the post) - Do not respond to the authors of these messages. (Most often, these are robots) The best attitude to have is to report them for helping moderators to quickly find and delete them. These are very basic but essential tips because these people are looking to attract the most people, and clicks. Moreover, nothing says that their sites do not contain viruses or other malicious things. (I am NOT a moderator, so if they have any clarifications or modifications to make, it is with pleasure).

I mostly refer to mayoral duties because it is that which I am more accustomed. I would like to suggest that the financial records of the city be up to the mayor as to their detail and what all they include. I would like to think that the cash system for mayor will be more than just sliding bars on how much is spent in one area and that the mayor can withdraw cash to use personally (As would be required for some of the welfare systems I've proposed). And as such then it would make sense that when financial records are published that it be up to the mayor to label withdrawals for specific purposes, such as when they go to the bank and withdraw they select an existing category (Welfare, Public service, etc.) and it would add to the amount of debits that category received. And if there was a category they did not see, they could create a new one and all this would be marked down in the financial records when they are published. I'd assume other categories of it would be automated like I would expect that Road services would be auto-filled out and such (and I hope to god the mayor can choose which roads get more care than others, I love detail), but I would really enjoy the creative freedom to expand my position as mayor by having more custom freedom over where the money is spent. It would also make more interesting detail if someone found out the mayor was illegally using funds, for example, if someone notices that there's a large debit in the police budget and find out that police are paid a lot less than they should be, or if road service is really high but the roads are actually all cracked, then people could figure out the mayor was corrupt. Just something to chew on. Sincerely, Blake Gillman - Running for Mayor

I'll probably be starting a meth operation like in Breaking Bad lol I'll need some people: 2-4 meth cooks to be cooking meth 24/7 1-3 truck guys to be moving the meth constantly 2-4 guys keeping security and making sure we aren't followed Once we make enough money we can start buying more RVs, more trucks, and bribing politician/police. We're not a gang or mafia we just run an operation for cash$$$

I like the idea of taxes being fair across the board, but I just don't think the 10% rate on all incomes is enough to sustain the government's costs. There has to be some more income from taxes, to pay for programs like welfare, food stamps, and universal healthcare. Not to mention roads and salaries for doctors, policemen, etc. Shouldn't there be at least a 20% rate for the highest earners? If you still stick to your 10% plan, how do you plan to have enough funds to keep the programs running, infrastructure great, and salaries high with less funds? Candidate Thomas Hetch's tax plan seems much more reasonable (Although the 50% tax is a bit too high).

Ripper's Heist Gang We are 6 friends. We are from Argentina but we speak english too. Our idea is form a group of ppl capable of performing fast heists, assassination, persecution of politicians during capaing by contract and traffic. We have a lawyer already, who ironically is lawyer irl. And if it's possible an informatic brain. We are looking for someone who loves driving and, if it's possible a policeman associated to us. We are so excited about this game.

There already have been a few people who asked about the realism of the economy,(Link to similar post, Another Link ), but my question is a little more specific. I saw the page for one of the candidates for governor(or mayor, not really sure), and he said that he would have a flat tax rate of 10%. My question is this, if the economy is realistic wouldn't this be insanely low for a flat tax rate and if not, would an ideal tax rate(one which would be sufficient enough for the government to run effectively) be higher or lower than this? TL;DR Is 10% a viable tax rate for Identity? What would be one? There is a good chance that there aren't a huge amount of people who actually know for a fact how government spending and taxes work, so opinions/ hypotheses welcome c:
  14. 1 point
To begin, in my opinion... TAXES: Taxes will be a very simple flat tax. 10% of your reported yearly income must be given in taxes. 10% tax will also be placed on corporation profit, not income.
  15. 1 point
i question what the taxes go to other than police, ambulance, firefighter (also wonder what firefighters will be doing 98% of the time) With no road maintenance, military (other than policing), healthcare (disease's etc) Not sure what else the taxes are used for since there isnt any options to keep building infrastructure. I mean a flat rate of 10% of everyone including the govt workers seems like WAY more than enough to pay a couple dozen officers, unless my idea of this scale is way off lol. Its hard to wrap my head around numbers until you know max server size, police ratio, how important fire and medics will be etc. Still, all exciting thoughts.

@Kronic Go make a game with this much detail and tell me if you have time to go post in your own forums or make a video of the gameplay, and they may want to keep this stuff in the dark until town square comes out so that nobody can post things about it before we can get into the game.

Not true at all. Just because you can't convince someone after your first response, it doesn't mean they're a "lost cause". Trying to spin having a lack of an argument to it just "not being worth arguing someone already set in stone" is a huge red flag for weakness.

Well Teddy Roosevelt used The Sherman Anti-Trust Act to prosecute owners of Trusts. His Attorney General was the one bringing the cases to court, and the Supreme Court ruled in the matter and usually dissolved the trusts. Roosevelt only went after trusts he deemed "bad", obviously this will be hard to emulate assuming there are going to be many servers. I think we can both agree that there are some good trusts, but how will you prevent the formation of bad trusts?

Considering that the actual election won't take place for at least 3 months, I doubt anybody has their mind set in stone. Either way that doesn't make debate pointless. As I said before, many people who will decide the outcome of the election have not even joined yet, so when they do they deserve to see every side of the politics. They also deserve to see how a candidate would respond to counter arguments. The debate is not for the good of me or the good of you, the debate is for the good of the potential voters. Most debates in real world politics are between two people who have their minds set in stone already, and only wish to demonstrate why their policies are better than their counterpart's. I also want to know where I misinterpreted you, as I quoted most of your statements that I responded to, and the rest are common knowledge. There are a few questions specifically that I would like an answer to 1. What will you do to stop the formation of monopolies and trusts? Or, if you plan on doing nothing, do you support the formation of trusts and monopolies? 2. Do you believe that all people, regardless of how long they have participated in any forms of Identity, deserve the fair chance to become Mayor/Governor? 3. How do the people know, even if you hand over control of your companies, that you will not have any preferential treatment or conflict of interest if you are elected Mayor/Governor? 4. If you do privatize Healthcare like you stated you will, how will you ensure that rates won't skyrocket due to the formation of trusts/monopolies? (You may disregard this questions depending on your answer to question 1) Please answer these questions with actual policies that you will put in place(if applicable)

Hey, well the tax rate is up to the government and if it is low then people keep happy but it is better chances that there will be less police officers as of low funding and so increased crime rate possibly.

@QuasarVX True- There is no game. YET and ya know why? COZ THEY ARE STILL MAKING IT! Its not like " See its finnished. Take the crap thing where you cant do anything except looking at some poor textures" its more like "Wait until we say its finnished, then you can play a game better then everything you had to this point with good textures and even better gameplay." If u dont like to wait dont do it.

Yes, WE will be your competition, you do not seem to be much at the moment though. You are offering 20.00 to DJ's to work for you , yet you are begging for donations to a radio station that as yet does not exist! LMAO Getting a bit ahead of yourself there aren't you? I would very strongly suggest that you treat the ladies of Identity with the utmost respect. My advice to you is to get your station up and running BEFORE you make offers you cannot keep. I look forward to watching how in the world you manage this, it should be quite amusing overall. Oh and if you want to listen to some music while you are begging for donations, please stop by our station as it works NOW! HAHAHAHAHA Take care and good luck to you also!

I think this game would benefit from having live in game news reporters. You could have players sitting in news rooms talking about things going on in the world, Things going on in real life, By having live tv in game, You could have players host live in game events. Radio show hosts could keep people while they drive. If you want you could go the extra mile and let people who have lots of money hire other people to make movies and tv shows in the world. You create your own movie creator kit and let people make movies and shows to host in game. If that's to much you could have people just make digital movies using other 3d software and ten just import it into the game world. Also by having live tv in game. You could could have people create ads and so on.

Hi guys I am New to Identity just pledged this past weekend, (got my little apartment and garage I wasn't referred here by anyone I just randomly found it on the web looking at new games coming out in 2017. I been reading all I could find out about it the past few days. I am really like'ing what I am seeing. Its a shame there is not more marking for it but I understand with this type of crowd funding that the devs spent most of their time an money into making the game and not advertising . That's where we the fans come it. ) "Idea / Suggestion " I was thinking about Identity having some kind of referral program , where current backers could recommend the game to their friends and if those friends then pledge a donation to the Identity game development , the original backer and the new backer they both get a referral , point, star, credit whatever... The devs can then decision on a reward , for example 5 recruitment points will get you a Limited edition lava lamp for your apartment that you can only get from the referral program. Nothing game braking like more cash or cars or anything ridiculous, but a token of appreciation that's merely cosmetic and players can show off to their friends to show how they help grow the game. I have personally seen this work in other crowed funded games and I believe the word of mouth from fans is the best way to help a game and its community to grow, and these programs just help give it that little extra nudge in the right direction. Best Regards Kami

Hello and Welcome to the Identity community! Great to have you join us here in the wait and please use the FAQ and search bar to find answers that you need. If you need to just quote me and I will reply to your questions. I can't decide for you and same with everyone else. I personally have already pledged $250 for this game and so I can't really support it to be a scam and I am definately on the side that the game is in progress and will release early 2017 but could have unexpected delays like all games do and I know the game has a very small team. (Just my opinion) Now if you feel that you think its a scam then don't pledge that $500 but if you want to help the devs out and / trust in them to deliver this wonderful game then go ahead but remember its your choice and no one can / should change your mind for you. You decide as its YOUR money!
