Heya guys. I first found identityrpg back in April but I never actually talked here on the forums or anything. Having realised that I thought maybe I should introduce myself. Got to start somewhere. So hello, my name is Kerri but most people look at my username and call me Wolven. When I stumbled across this place I was super excited because identity look exactly like the game I've been waiting for and I can not wait to give it a try once the developers are ready to let us. I haven't decided on who or what my character will be yet (thought I tend to go law enforcement route in these sorts of games) so I'll get back to you all on that but I look forward to finding out If you guys have got any questions, feel free to ask. I'm terrible at talking about myself so I've probably missed some important things out. Cheers my dears for taking the time to read this.

I'll take my chances, I'm sure if they are a good private security company they can get the job done.

Alright then, however I must remind you, private security won't protect you from everything...

We at Asylum Entertainment are very excited to tell you, our community, how you will be able to get into the game sooner than you think! Identity's modules are small portions of Identity which will be released before Identity is ready for the world. This lets you experience part of the game months sooner than otherwise possible. The first module you'll be getting your hands on is a social environment which we've called Town Square. The Town Square will include all major social components, and will allow you to finally create and customize your characters. You can meet hundreds of new people and explore several cool features of the peaceful city life. For more details on Town Square, check out the modules page on the Identity website. Following the release of Town Square you'll experience SWAT player versus player action and eventually vehicle races of all sorts. We'll be bringing you more information on the modules as they progress!

Crusaders Division - Knights Needed Knights are the sworn guards of The Gentleman's Club and their assets. With a lot of wealth, members of The Gentleman's Club need protection from prodding criminals. Knights are selected based on their backgrounds and those with military or special forces backgrounds are more likely to be picked over a shoe shop owner. They are taken through rigorous training to ensure they are capable of protecting the club house of the club and its vault. More career opportunities will arise from within this rank such as a rank up to a more senior role and a well-earned pay rise. If the situation arises that a member of the club is targeted, the Knights will accept the role of a personal bodyguard for that member until the problem is eradicated. If you see yourself working as a guard for wealthy men in the future then look no further. Expect a solid salary and shifts that suit you. We hope to find people that have some experience with this role whether it be within other games such as arma or just via the knowledge you have IRL. We seek men who are well disciplined and trustworthy. If you would like to discuss applying for this role, please PM me and we can discuss it further, reviewing your characters background and attributes. Herzog Chairman of The Gentleman's Club

Hi all, I'm Ryan or informally known as Crow. (Before you ask, yes people really call me Crow IRL). I also use Crow as an online alias as you can tell. I'm a British lad so don't hesitate to ask me about the Queen & how she's doing. Lets be honest, I'm probably the least patriotic British person you'll meet. I come from an extensive background in Networking and System Administration, although I have no significant formal qualifactions for the field - I've gathered a hefty knowledge after years of experience inside and outside of work/education. I come from Asylum Entertainment's modification of "Altis Life" where I have been around for over 2 years and still currently a Police Corporal in the Asylum Police Department. I hope to see Identity live up to its full potential as I've been checking in on it since it was put public and hope to see some of you lot in game

Don't know how different this community is from Arma, but whats up. I've been apart of the Asylum community for 2 years and have put about 1000 hours into their arma server. Pleasure to be apart of identity as well. See you guys around the forums Can't wait for Identity to be finished, I know the developers will make identity as fun as arma has been

Hey there everyone ! I'm Paulchartres, as you can see from my username, and my real name is... Paul. (NO SHIT)! I've been hanging around in these forums for a long, long time now. I've started following the game on January 2016, and at first I was kinda upset... A friend and I were developping a new Standalone RP game, based on gmod and altis life.. Guess what we found? IdentityRPG ! To be honnest, I immediately dropped the project and backed the game/... Can't wait to see you guys in the game ! Cheers

I know that the developers have told us about how in-depth the driving system will be and how you can race on the streets and tracks of Identity, but besides being an opportunity to have fun and show off your ride, what else is there to it? Driving is one of my favorite aspects of gaming, and in Identity, I would like to get paid for it (in the game currency, not real currency). A professional racing career would allow players to get paid for racing on the tracks or cleared streets of Identity. Fans could pay for tickets or watch on T.V.s to see these races. As a bonus, these racers would get access to exclusive racing cars that wouldn't be purchasable anywhere else in Identity. This could also be a great opportunity for companies to get awareness since they would be able to sponsor these racers. The illegal racing career would be the "high risk, high reward" version of professional racing. The racers in this career wouldn't get access to the exclusive cars or get sponsored, and would have to race on the streets of Identity while regular players are driving as well. This would result with the cops chasing the racers because they put innocent citizens of Identity in danger. The upsides to this career is that you would get access to illegal parts that you could put on your car, and if you won a race, the winnings would be much higher than a professional race. I could see this career being a way to settle disputes between rival gangs. So what do you guys think: would you be a professional or illegal racer? I would really like to hear your thoughts.

At the end of the day no ones forcing you to stay here. If you dont like waiting and the way that the dev team runs things then you can just go and come back when its out. Im happy waiting as there is still the forums to have fun on. I like looking at everyones ideas and its great to give your own suggestions while the game is in development. I believe that is why people buy early access is because they get to create the game along with the devs, not to moan about how theyll leave if a video doesnt come out. If you are not interested in the waiting game and getting involved with the games development then the doors open.
  14. 1 point
Well, it could be any day now and a lot of people will have the same stress as you if they fail on the promise again.

Thank you @Arcanion and @Hatoful I look forward to meeting everybody and finding out what the devs have planned for this game!

The time for patience is over they cant make another promise about a video and not follow through. If it doesnt make it by the end of the month then Im done.

Hello everyone! My name is Stone and I am 13 years old (so I'm a little young, but who cares). I live in the USA and have heard a lot of good things about Identity. It seems like it is going to be really cool, and I can't wait to play it!

So I was watching some random top 10 videos online when I stumbled upon this. I am 16 years old and live in the USA and I plan to attempt to make a casino/hotel with a few friends, even though we can't legally gamble!

Suggestion: I had a suggestion for the developers to introduce into the game. Wouldn't it be cool if you could metal detect along beaches or the wilderness. Like if you metal detect in beaches you could find watches, gold, silver, or even diamonds. I think it should be a rare chance to find something good and chances were you can find little shards of metal, which you can sell to like a scrap metal disposal. I would think this would be a good addition to the game, you could sell the gold, diamonds, etc to a Jewel store and it would be a source a money.

Like i said above, I think it should be on how much you earn, so 35% income tax on below 35k, above 35.1k 40% tax and above 45.1k 50% tax. Also if you have so much money in the bank, you should get taxed a little percentage for being rich. I know its going to be very hard to get your hands on guns and well it will be unfortunate if you get gunned down randomly by a criminal. Think of real life, a lot of people get killed for doing nothing wrong but just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. So really the devs are trying to prevent it, but also on private servers there will be rules to enforce so much stuff but it cannot be prevented as its inevitable.

Yeah I know. I just wanted to introduce myself and meet some of you peeps first before diving straight in. I may want to change some aspects of my character before the full release. I've got some ideas already but I want to develop them further. Being a writer I like to know everything about my characters. That way I don't forget important aspects of their personality or what not.
  30. 1 point
No rush on the character because you got time till the game releases, but it is handy to have it ready. (I haven't made my character info yet.

Well thanks frank I am glad you are confirming that there will be private security in the game, however I personally will not be hiring criminals for private security because I am associated with the Gentleman's club and we are Barons/Gentleman of legitimate business. It's what separates us from the the savages

Hi developers of Identity. I know you guys are going to add pets like dogs and cats and whatnot, but will they, specifically dogs, be more than just pets? As we all know, in real life dogs are not just pets and are used for many more things. So in Identity, maybe they could as well. For instance, a K-9 unit for the police that can help track down criminals, hunting dogs to help you hunt (if there will even be any hunting), or guard dogs to help protect your house or base. This is just a suggestion, but I think it would be awesome if you guys added these features!

Please do not bring real life politics in the forum, it starts arguments. Also, he hasn't cut any taxes because he isn't president and that is impossible. If you like to get into this type of things, I suggest you talk to some of the running governors like @GeneSmith who is definitely running or @Eye236 who is thinking about running. Thanks!

Today we publish the first Identity Insider update, bringing you detailed information about key systems in Identity. Our website has expanded with a small page detailing corporations and their classes, also available below: Corporations in Identity You've made a lot of cash working odd jobs, or maybe even the odd less-than-legal task; now that you've had a taste of success, it's time to forge an empire. Corporations will allow the successful with a little extra cash to become driving forces in Identity's dynamic economy. Corporations are organizations similar to, but separate from, gangs and other social structures. They have the added ability of owning assets and issuing work orders to their real-player employees. Some assets, such as the largest cargo trucks, are available only to corporations. Once formed, the corporation is assigned a telephone number for public contact and the director (owner) can build a logo using an in-game design tool. It's then time to hire a staff and get to work. Classes of Corporations Delivery Delivery corporations can buy large vehicles for big hauls, vehicles not available to the general public. While any player can deliver goods in vehicles such as vans, to get the big-bucks you'll need to join a corporation. Legal Let's face it, crimes happen and criminals are going to be arrested. They'll need someone on the outside to convince the jury that they did nothing wrong. This is where legal corporations come into play, and their services aren't always cheap. Transportation People need to get from point A to point B and they don't always have the means to do that themselves. Transportation corporations own special vehicle assets including taxis and more, helping those in need get where they need to be. Manufacturing From the shoes on your feet to the sofa under your seat, almost everything in Identity is built and crafted by other players. Manufacturing corporations give their employees access to a wider variety of constructables and resources, for a cut of the profits. Always Expanding As with most things in Identity, we at Asylum will constantly be expanding this system adding new classes of corporations and building on those already available. Identity's release is only the beginning. If you have any ideas for a well-suited corporation class, let us know on the forums.

Company Name: Dead Rat Realty What will It do/make/sell?: We will sell and distribute Mobile Homes Ideal Employee Count: 1 Main Assets: Mobile Homes / Apartments Example of logo: This is merely an aesthetic idea. Perhaps if the devs needed some fake advertisement. I really think I am going to be more on the Staff side of things when my server opens so I may not have time to play.
