Lovely, two responses without any hate or snide remarks! That's a salute from me to both of you James yes I forgot about the safety from natural disasters we get here as an absolute positive to the country, and Jaxx Manchester is probably one of the best cities in the country, it doesn't make it amazing though. The worst cities in the country are places like Wolverhampton, stay away from there aha I think its actually been rated the UK's most miserable place x D

Well, don't I feel like an idiot. From these I was sure you didn't live here in England and had some vendetta against it. But whoops! Ah well. And yes, I agree with most of your remarks about England, although I've never been to Manchester. Glad I'm living in a crime-free zone of London, though! Also, as a partial Canadian, yes, I have found a number of nicer people residing in Canada then England. And fuck off Cameron!

I'm gonna spend my time driving around in a white van, asking people if they want any candy. If anyone says yes, I'll pull over and say get in the back, where my two crime buddies jump out, beat them up, hog tie em, and throw em in the van. In which I just continue collecting people. Yup. I have a odd fetish. But it's not bad.

yew thanks ! i hope we can tie people to chairs or something at least, or tie them up and carry them around so we can kidnap people instead of aiming a gun at them and letting them open doors in other games

Answer me this, do you want literally every server on Identity to be the same type of bullshit? Or do you want more variety and more content for different types of servers? You do know that not every server is going to have zombies if they're implemented, right? Or are you too stupid to figure that out by yourself? If you really enjoy a real life simulator so much that you don't want any type of other content on that game I have a tip for you: Go outside and live a real life.

Well there has to be something apart from addiction when it comes to drugs, because no one would be like "Oh, I'll take meth to get addicted!", people would rather like to see the buffs/visual effects. And then addiction sneaks up on them.

That's true, you're definitely better off using twitter to ask questions, but since that's the case what is the point of forums?
  10. 1 point
The problem I have observed, is that these forums are basically useless. Getting a question answered is like pulling teeth from a moose with no teeth. It was the same on the old website and it hasn't changed much, I really hope we see some more activity on these forums but it doesn't seem likely.

If concealed guns are going to be in the game then we can bet on metal detectors.

Yeah I so agree, but I got to say the weather is the worst thing here but then again we don't get tsunamis and hurricanes and earthquakes, like all the better stated countries for their weather e.g. america gets more sun at some areas. but then again its balanced out. they get the best weather and the extreme weather. while we get ok weather and terrible weather all the time. Your opinion is more facts at the same time, but I love being able to say I am English, I just love it for some reason. not saying I wouldn't move to another country. I would but at the same time, England can be better than other places. but I agree with your opinions too.

Go play H1Z1 or DayZ ffs! This is Identity, a life sim, not a zombie apocalypse simulator! There's way too many of those on the market!

Identity is an online game and can only be played online. The social interaction is a huge part of what makes it great.

Hello there! My name is James, also know as Spank (among many other names). I have been gaming since i was a kid, from the nostalgic SNES all the way up to PC. I am a member of Gaming-Asylum, which is Asylum Entertainments Altis Life mission for ArmA 3. I have been a member of their community since Christmas 2013. I am also an Administrator there, which i have held since roughly April of 2014. Other than Gaming-Asylum, my past community history as well as Admin positions would have been in BF2 (PC), and BF3 (X360). Being mechanically minded since i was a kid, I am man of many talents but a master of none. Born and raised in Alaska where I work in aviation as a mechanic. I also hold a private pilot license, which i hope to continue to commercial. Other hobbies would have to be hunting, fishing, cars, firearms, & planes. I am a pretty laid back guy, i like to make jokes and am all for friendly ribbing. If you're upfront and honest with me, i will be straight forward with you. If you need help or have any questions, you can reach me here through PM. Or on Gaming-Asylum, which i have linked in my name above.

I imagine court case evidence could work better with narcotic busts and potentially murder cases. It would be interesting if the Police vehicles recorded like ones in real life but I imagine that may be pushing some technical limitations. Anyhow I could see them implementing some sort of camera system, or somehow tie in a forensic team into police cases. If that were to be the case I am sure that is where the majority of evidence would be provided from an the results of the forensics could be directly tied to the work of the police officers and how thourough they are at examining the scene, and/or collecting samples (such as blood, drugs, weapons ect.). This leaves the the crime solving aspect of Identity very open and allows players to work for the police without directly searching for criminals and patroling in cruisers.

Hia! Katie here, name also being, well Katie. I learned about Identity from one of my friends and decided that I would love to help out, which is why I'm here now! I mostly play League of Legends in my free time, but I expand my pool of gaming. Right now I'm in Queen's University in Kingston studying Biology, which is not the easiest thing in the world to do. If you ever want to play a game or two of something, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll add you on whatever. I just hope everyone has a good time!

Not all cases will go to a court case. I immagine if a case goes to court it will be more streamlined. On our Altis Life servers, the police are not in court, you can request a court session while in jail and then a bunch of random people show up, you explain your case and they vote either guilty or not guilty

Howdy! My name is Josh, but when it comes to gaming, I am more famously known as Killswitch. I have been playing video games ever since I was a young. I originated from console gaming, went to PC, back to console, then back to the PC master race after college. I dabble in all sorts of games but find the MMORPGs, MOBAs, and FPS games to be the most entertaining. I am from North Dakota and attended North Dakota State University where I got my Bachelors of Science. I am currently a Chemist in the area of Water Treatment, however I am going to go back to college to pursue a degree in Computer Science in the fall. I, like many others here, have met most of these young chaps through Asylum's Altis Life Server where I am an Administrator as well. Other additional hobbies would be sports, hunting, fishing, music, movies, and of course hanging out with friends. If you have any questions or need help, don't hesitate to message me.

Greetings All! I will preface this by saying that my username is pronounced "Goo-Gee." I have heard a lot of different variations of it and I hope this will prevent any confusion! My actual name is Evan and I am a sophomore studying to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I am originally from Florida, the warm and sunny state where all you bizarre news stories originate. I came to know all of these amazing people through being an administrator on Asylum's Arma Life server since April 2014. My interests are mainly in the relationship between technology and law, which I hope to pursue after I finish my undergraduate education. I also am working to become fluent in Spanish, which I hope will be complete after I complete my abroad studies in Barcelona. In addition to gaming, I also enjoy watching and playing soccer, rowing, programming (Web Development, Java, C, Python), videography, and much more! Feel free to message with help regarding Identity or the Gaming-Aslyum ARMA Life servers.

Hey everyone, I'm Brendan, I'm currently a senior in high school taking a programming class and 3D modeling course with high hopes to go into the gaming industry in the future. I've been gaming ever since I was about 5 or 6. I've always loved video games and the world that it put you in. By the age of 13 I bought my first PC and gamed on it for about 2 years, After working part-time I save up money and built my new Gaming PC which is what I use now. After switching to PC I will never go back to consoles! Once I built that computer I installed all my software for 3D modeling and have been creating different projects to store in a portfolios for future job applications, by late 2016 I hope to apply for an internship at Gearbox Software (Creators of Borderlands) to improve my knowledge of the gaming industry. Thanks for checking out my introduction and I hope to see you guys around!

Nice to meet you all. I'm Matt, also known as Dysto, I guess that's my sort of online alias. I'm a Second Year University Student in the UK who loves to get involved in online communities especially when it allows me to work around a great group of people and a great product. I started out running my own forums several years ago along with a friend, I then moved into the journalistic space acting as a freelance writer for a period of time. More recently I help test two GRID games at Codemasters being credited for my role in the community there, before stumbling onto Identity. If you have any questions or queries feel free to come and discuss it with me. You can also catch me at @Dysto on Twitter. I'll see you guys around, lets make Identity the next big thing.

Well, Hello everyone! My name is Justin, but people call me Snatch. I am one of the more recent additions to the administration staff on Asylum's Gaming-Asylum life server community. However, I have been a long standing member for over a year and a half as well as a Lieutenant of the Asylum Police Department for a year now. I'm resident in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I am also a married college graduate. In my professional career, I am a Network Engineer and Administrator for a well established & publicly traded Fortune 500 corporation. I have been in the industry for over 15 years and earned numerous professional certifications from Cisco and also accredited from the NSA in network security. Together we can all create the chapter of gaming. I am so excited to be a part of this great adventure that is Identity!

Hello everyone! I am Olio! I was previously the Community Manager for Asylum's Entertainment's "Altis Life" mission file on Arma 3, and ever since the day I stepped foot onto Altis Life, I have been hooked with what Paratus and Motown have created as well as the great community that surrounds the Altis Life format. I am an active PC gamer across many genres. I was extremely excited to hear about Identity being started and I am extremely excited for its release and being a part of the ever growing community of Asylum Entertainment. As a leader in the customer service industry, I thoroughly enjoy working with people, creating resolutions for issues and striving to create win/win situations for everyone. If you ever need any help feel free to contact me here on the forums or Identities Official Discord and I will get back to you as soon as possible. See you in Identity!
