10 pointsWe're almost there! Identity's Town Square module has been submitted to Steam and is pending approval. You'll find the Steam store page either today or within the next day or two. Enjoy the trailer above, fresh off the Steam listing. Following Steam's approval of the Town Square within the next day or two, you'll be presented with the official Steam release date. This date will be in November, 2018!

2 pointsHey, friends, the Identity Town Square Steam release trailer just came out: What do the people think?!
-
2 pointsGreat news and congratulations to the team on making it to this significant milestone!

1 pointif so, what would be the professions we can choose from? like if someone wanted to make clothing, they just get a template and draw on it then upload? i hope this is a thing.

1 pointOh my apologies, I falsely assumed you were one of those volunteer moderators from the Identity logo in your signature. My bad.
-
1 pointWhat does your reply solve here? It was said we would be able to make our own clothing items, and PsiSyn's statement is true. It can't really be a mechanic if we have to pay to get a t-shirt. Saying the item is in concept state adds nothing to the discussion. Do we get to make our own clothing, as was promised, or not?

1 pointIt's just semantics at this point, but the exact quote is "the Identity Town Square module will be published to Steam before the end of this month (October)!". Since it's "publishED" and not "will start the publishing process" (or words to that extent), I'd say the lad is right. It's not a big "delay", but it's still a delay. The game has not been published, it has simply begun the verification process to become "published". Something can't have been published, if there is no public substance. publish verb (used with object) to issue (printed or otherwise reproduced textual or graphic material, computer software, etc.) for sale or distribution to the public.

1 pointagain they never said it would be up by then, publishing and releasing are two different words, when you publish something you make it ready for release. in other words you pass it on to steam to get it verified. that is what publishing is

1 pointProbably something similar to how you draw on a canvas. You may create the image and then pick the clothing item to size it to. You can write books or create drawings as well.
-
1 pointDoes it matter? If it was visible you still wouldn't be able to play it? They have given the files to valve.... it wont be playable until valve have approved it. What could you do with the steam page if it was visible?
-
1 pointYeah, you got em... if I were you, I would get as far as I can from this game, right now
-
1 pointThey did not fail anything.....they published it to Steam. Steam now needs to approve it so it can be posted, typically it’s done the same day, but for some reason there is a queue. Stop finding the negative in things and find something positive, Steam has it and will post the store page when they approve it.

1 pointIt looks nice, like really high quality job. What bugs me is why there is already "SWAT coming next" while only tiny bit of social mode is done?
-
