  1. The Communist Party of Roseport (Retired)

This was also a concern I had. Can be found here:
  2. Carpe Pecuniam for Governor.

Agreed. But not as much in this case because he states that he will be completely separate from his bank in the event he becomes elected. I also have this concern with the Royal Family party, as they are constantly in the pockets and in affiliation with large business magnates and conglomerates. EDIT: Not relevant anymore because he dropped out of the race
  3. Voting for the "Dark" sides will probably work ?!

The legality of something doesn't make it morally or ethnically correct. For example, legalizing murder or rape doesn't make it inherently right just because its "legal".
  4. The Communist Party of Roseport (Retired)

With your proposed extreme power of government (Seizing the means of production, enforced high tax rates, forced government programs, etc.), what will the people use to defend themselves in the event of government tyranny? This has always been, and always will be a looming threat to any society run by a parliamentary government.
  5. CORRUPTION

Best way to prevent corruption is to reduce power in government to prevent government overreach, and give the power to the people to make their decisions. I think you'll agree with my policies:
  6. More Political Discussion!

I heard that importing and exporting goods will be allowed between servers
  7. More Political Discussion!

It is more than clear at this point that the economy of Identity will be mainly run on large conglomerates and small mom-and-pop shops. Acknowledging this, the best way to stimulate the economy is through the following: 1) A reasonable tax plan that expands the middle class, and consumerism among our people. 2) A low corporate tax to incentivize business investments from the wealthy, as well as increase employment and benefits of our workers 3) Free market. This does not mean a laissez faire economic plan, but rather to allow the market to make decisions on wages, prices, etc. It's more than a myth the businesses or government controls these things, because the market does. 4) Encourage competition in the job market. Everything great comes through some good competition, and what's not a better way to treat our people with the top businesses with the resources at their disposal to do so? I go more in depth about this in my initial campaign announcement, which can be found at the bottom. Good question!
  8. [DROPPED OUT] Supreme Leader for Governor!

I've gotten PM's from people to include my tax plan, so I've added that now.
  9. Two party system is inevitable

Two party systems happen because people tend to vote based on popularity and likelihood to win rather than policy a lot of the time. Also a contributing factor is how the voting system will work. Will it be a two-round system like in France? Or similar to our elections in the U.S.? All these things play a role in how politics will unfold.
  10. Rate the above song

Was 7/10 but because Nirvana is from my hometown I'll give them an 8/10 Song:
  11. Hello from Seattle, WA!

Hello, my name is Supreme Leader and I'm from Seattle, Washington. I'm pretty stoked for the Identity release, and it might actually be the first real RP game with everything that I could possible hope for it to offer. Just reading around the forums, it looks like this will be huge.
  12. Law on underage drinking?

If anything, there will most likely be laws about drinking under the influence. Also, acting like an idiot out in the public while drunk can have you arrested for breach of peace.
  13. When your party forms an allegiance with elite business conglomerates, private military, top ranking officials, etc who probably all have varying views on the shape of government... you don't feel that this creates a central interest of your elite supporters over the collective people? Genuine question.
  14. I have never done any personal attacks towards any candidates. I have only asked honest questions that I have about their political views, and questioned the validity of the party they represent. Also, this notion that we must "refrain from these opinionated statements" is pretty ridiculous. Apart of running for any form of office is that you are putting your views and values out in the public to be criticized, and also applauded. This isn't a merry-go-round where you get to high-five everyone when riding the horse of politics. On top of this, I don't see that my concern was really baseless at all. I feel that there IS a concern to be had of your allegiance to actually upholding the values of the people when you have so many people of elite class to please due to their support of your party. This type of business is very typical in IRL politics, and seeing it translate here isn't necessarily a shock. But still, thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
  15. Who Are The Candidates?

    Much thanks from the NIF
  16. Jobs in Politics

How many people out there do you think would be interested in pursuing a job in politics? Or some sort of other RP political? If this is going to be as realistic as it's being advertised as, politics will probably be a big thing.
  17. Playing this game!

Right, a good PC that could handle this would probably run minimum 800 USD
  18. Just pledged my $60

  22. Hello Identity Community

    Hey, welcome!
  23. Cosmetologist / Hairdresser

Well, if anything I think that hair salons will probably be run by NPCs, then people can change their look based on a menu in which people can change their look.
  24. Thomas Hetch for governer

Here is the problem with your line of thinking: When you enforce fictitious government regulation of minimum wage, you eliminate the need for competition of wage among the businesses. You mustn't saturate the market with such regulation because you need to allow the market to fixate itself first. Nobody knows how the economy will function as of now, and we can only make speculation. It's nothing more than a myth that the government or businesses control wages and prices, because the market does. When you support free market, you are allowing for there to be natural growth, and with that you will see the minimum wage rise and fall until it finally fixates on the accurate number which is influenced by supply and demand in the workforce. Then you make ask the question: How will allowing a free and open market allow wages to rise? When people are looking for work, they look for a couple things. 1) Benefits 2) Wage 3) Convenience The issue at hand is about wages, so I'll focus on this point. When a business is looking to acquire the best workers, they must out-compete their competitors when it comes to wages. This is where competition in the job market comes in. When this happens, businesses will start to realize that because their competitors offer better wages, benefits, etc. that they are actually taking all the best workers, which in turn translates to more efficiency and productivity within the business. I disagree heavily that enforced government regulation of the minimum wage is at all the best way to treat our workers. The best way is to allow these businesses to compete with each other to try and offer the BEST they can to those looking for a job, which will do much more than any form of government regulation.
  25. Top 6 Political Parties

You forgot the Nationalist party: National Identity Front Our colors are white and yellow.
