  1. So after reading the FAQ a bit more in dept I saw this sentence in one of the questions: "Players cannot access another players home without an invitation." This makes me a bit concerned since that means no robbing of players houses will be possible. Robbing houses is one of the most fun and thrilling things to do in Gmod DarkRP, and if the developers think that robbing peoples houses will have a negative impact on the housing aspect, here are my suggestions: * Give players the ability to buy alarms for their houses (Locks come with the house). * Nerby cops and the player owning the house gets alerted immediately when a house alarm has gone off. * Robbers have to buy a crowbar/lockpick to be able to get inside of the house if the door is locked. * Crowbars/lockpicks will be very limited in stores. * Robbers are only able to slowly carry one object/furniture at a time making the robbing process take loads of time. * Players can buy cameras which can be accessed via your phone (this will probably take loads of time to implement and I don't think it's really that necessary). * To keep certain things safe in the house, players can buy safes. * Robbers are only able to rob a house if it's empty of players (Just to keep the houses safe places to chill and hang out with firends) With only a few of these suggestions implemented, robbing houses would become very hard, which is a good thing since you wouldn't want players houses to constantly get robbed. Also one thing to keep in mind is that the houses in DarkRP are often empty which means that you can easily find the valuable stuff fast, while in Identity, the houses will be filled with loads of furniture making the search harder for robbers. I really hope that the developers will consider these suggestions since I think it would add to the immersion of a game like Identity. EDIT: After some discussion I feel like I need to clearify a few things. Since the developers have said that the only way to enter a house is through an invitation, because the performance will be an issue, I will try to explain my ideas how this could be fixed. So since houses will feature an instanced loadingscreen, the robber could be transfered into the house with a loadingscreen, exactly the same as when a player gets invited. The only difference is that the robber didn't get an invitation. And for example if a player could only invite 10 people to a house, then only 5 robbers and 5 cops should be able to enter the house and there wouldn't be any noticeable differences in the performance. The only problem with this is that if the loading times are long, there could be situations where the cops and robbers could be in a loadingscreen at the same time, which would result in them passing by eachother without the cops or the robbers noticing eachother. The solution to this problem could be to have a display on the door indicating if a player is about the get in/out of the house, or have a blurred verson of the avatar remain standing outside the door while loading. Another thing with the houses is that they are places where you are able to just chill out with friends and such, without any action or robbers. How to fix this problem is to only make robbers able to rob the house if there are no players inside (which includes the owner and the players invited).
  2. @Topshotz357 You can delete the box by selecting it with left click and then press delete.
  3. Keep in mind that GTAV was created by around 1000 people while identity is like 5 people. If the game will look even remotely similar to GTA it would be mindblowing.
  4. suggestion

I really hope the devs don't turn this down just because of copyright.
  5. You are not required to sleep actually, so people will most likely be out at night rather than going off to bed and wake up at 7. So I'm sorry if I crushed some parts of your dream (pretty sure there will be some privateservers which requires you to sleep at night tho).
  6. Map Decoration

Personally I don't understand how anyone can think the Arma 3 map looks bad, it's mostly based of real life and I find it looking amazing. I'm all for dense forests and cities, but If the Identity map manages to look as good or better than the Arma 3 map I will be more than happy.
  7. Movement

It's confirmed that you will not be able to be ontop of buildings. (which kills me a bit inside)
  8. Cinema

But at home there wont be like 20+ people watching, unless it's a big ass apartment.
  9. Dense Forests

Devs of Identity, please make the forests dense and realistic and not just one tree every 20 meters (I'm looking at you H1Z1). It would seriously mean soo much for the gameplay where hiding and hunting will be a big part of the game.
  10. Inactivity in Servers

20 min in the bathroom? Damn it must be a big pile of dump
  11. Music Artists?

I'd love to be able to sell my own real life music, or at least play them in radios (which I think will be possible already by hosting your own channel).
  12. Health Bar?

That's sad. So there will be no possibility to even get on top normal houses?
  13. Health Bar?

No access to roofs? In one of the concept art pictures for the Identiy Overview video we see a criminal type person standing on the roof of a building, which in my eyes confirms that it's possible to be on top of them. I'd be such a shame if it wouldn't be possible.
  14. Volume Control

The perfect way to do this would be to compress everyones voices so that the louder people get's lowered and the quiter ones get's turned up. And then of course if you are further away you will sound way quiter and distant.
  15. Cinema

I can dig the real life movies, but I'd love to be able to play youtube videos and twitch streams in the cinema.
  16. Revolutions

I'd love if this was a possibility. I mean it's possible in real life (very unlikely of succeeding tho), and if it would exist in the game it should be at least as hard to pull of as in real life.
  17. Incorporating Cryptocurrency

I kind of want this to be a thing, but then we have to remember that Identity is a game and if the in-game currency would have any relation to the real word, stealing and doing illegal stuff would be a tiny bit similar as if you were doing it in real life (only that it's not illegal). I mean just imagine the increased death threats and what not.
  18. character customization/creation

Didn't even think it was a crap game, was surely a lot of fun while waiting for GTAV to come out on PC
  19. customs & weapons???

I really like the customization in APB and I'd love it if we would see anything similar in Identity when creating art, clothing or even vehicle paintjobs.
  20. character customization/creation

What @ghhoooooooooost is saying is that some games give too much freedom resulting in the ability to create these insane looking creatures, and some games don't give any freedom at all making every face look the same. He/she was simply asking a question about how much freedom/limits we will have with the character creator.
  21. Camping/Dispersed Camping

I don't really see the problem with having tents, as vehicles are way more network heavy than static objects like tents. Then again I'm not a game dev and could be totally wrong.
  22. CAD open source additions?

Trust me, game dev is much more complicated than just "upload your own CAD model and everything will work". If that would be possible, developers would have to go in and spend time making the model usable in-game. The only way I could see players being able to create their own buildings is if the devs make their own building creation system, which would probably take a pretty long time to implement and I don't think the devs will prioritise this any time soon.
  23. WILL THIS GAME GET INTO STEAM?

why did you make double posts?
  24. Learning System

Because of reasons why there will be no kids (Ability to murder children will get the game banned in certain countries), there will be no need for schools since there will be no children/teens.
  25. Game Logo

How does the logo make you think it's a shooting game? it's a city, a guy with a cap and the text Identity.
