  1. Eating

What if we eat too much? Might a good idea to open up a gym for those who want to lose the love handles or pot belly's from eating too much turkey, Christmas dinner or New Years BBQ! Or just get ripped. Also for each character type there should be a generic diet plan for the varying weights to attack the fatness... but players can only find out what to do to lose or maintain their weight by visiting (and paying) a nutritionist at the gym that will prepare a diet guide and gym workout plan based on what the players is wanting to achieve with their image.
  2. How deep will police work actually be?

@xVAULTxDWELLERx Police work is actually an integral part of the game, well from what I've seen and heard so far anyway. The developers have discussed a realistic career path for those interested law enforcement and have even shown vehicles, uniforms and weaponry that other players won't have unless in the force like tasers and so on. They've also said you can have your own special Police vehicle with a laptop you can use to search up player details, radars, sirens, search lights and the list goes on. Actually I think even their overall approach to Policing design and gameplay is better than what Police 10-13 have proposed for their simulator game.
  3. Accountant

PLOT TWIST: The Governor sends an independent auditor and requires you to hand over all financial records to ensure you're squeaky clean .... If you pass the audit (or successfully bribe the auditor) you get a State Stamp of Approval/Certificate that signifies you have been audited and passed and won't be audited till the next financial year, upon whence you must rid the records (again) of any excess or unexplainable income/assets. Like that new Ferrari that's parked out front...
  4. Gangs/groups tab

@Xentinel reminds me of the 100's of Arma 3 videos I've watched on YouTube. A few guys who spontaneously want anything that moves!
  5. Gangs/groups tab

I used to play Alliance of Valiant Arms that had a clan management system which ran via their website. You could add, remove, manage your clan via the website and approve or disapprove members who applied to join or were inactive. Also you could post notices and such inside your clan/group which were private and only viewable by members part of that group. Once accepted into the clan via the website; your clan name [IN BRACKETS] along with the icon/symbol that identifies the cal would appear beside your name in-game.
  6. Hello from Germany

Ahh okay, it takes a while for the system to recognise the pledges and usually takes a day or so to show up on your account. Others are having the same issue of it not showing up immediately. If it doesn't show on your account here then message one of the moderators on the forum here. Welcome again man.
  7. Hello from Germany

Happy New Year @MaxRoccat and welcome to the new and improved website/forums man! I also have fond memories of Pac Man Quick question, did you have any troubles signing up and claiming your pledge from Kickstarter on the new website?
  8. Actual gameplay(firefights)

If you go into the business of Blacksmith/Weapons Forging, it could take a long time to create a single gun! You could turn your illegal weapons dealing/creation into a sweatshop and have multiple users creating/dealing for you simultaneously and paying them a percentage as their cut.
  9. If you arrest and send a player to prison for whatever reason and they request a trial, this has to be done immediately. You've put them in prison, so with your evidence the jury or judge would conduct the trial. No need for it to take weeks or days to make a conviction. If you don't have evidence or go to court with a 'he said - she said' case, it may be thrown out and the player set free and you as the arresting officer could be penalised for not doing a proper job!
  10. Police Homes

On the topic of homes, I understand that, on official servers homes/apartments will be pre-placed throughout the map and players can purchase that land and home. The type of customisation you have is by way of redesigning the interior and exterior.
  11. Hello everyone

Hey @megaboy999 - welcome to the new and improved website and forums!
  12. Back From The Dead!!

Hey @Reverex - welcome to the new and improved website!
  13. LIFE & HOME INSURANCE

LIFE INSURANCE If "getting protection" from gangs or families that protest to ally with you and thus "insure the safety of you and your family" doesn't intrigue you, players should be given the option to purchase life insurance. Possibly from the state or this could be another business opportunity? In the untimely event of your death, your selected insurance package would kick in and you'd be given a statement of affairs: value of insurance paid to you, value of items on person, and even value paid to you/your Estate upon the successful conviction of the murderer. Insurance options should be available to those who want to live a trouble free life, if they can afford it. A Full life coverage (a high weekly/monthly premium that revives you after 30 minutes, spawning at your apartment, then distributes the amount of your life insurance plus market value of items on you) B Death only (revives you after 30 minutes spawning you at your apartment and distributes your life insurance amount) C Medical only (revives you after 30 minutes in spawn spot, kind of like raising the dead) Players can only be eligible for payout of their insurance claims after a certain time, however if death were to occur before the eligibility date; their total premiums would be reimbursed in full. After you've claimed on insurance because of your death, you'd have to take out a brand new insurance policy and go through the wait period to be eligible again. HOME & CONTENTS INSURANCE Insuring your home and contents (cars, clothing, phones and other items) will ensure that in the case of a break in, home invasion, theft or accident - you can be assured your home and contents are covered. Full market values of home and contents returned to the player - however, if the player is suspected of fraud, by organising a robbery of their home to claim on insurance, will be investigated by the insurance company (or Police)? Same weekly/monthly premiums as life insurance.. These are just ideas... would love to discuss more!
  14. I've asked a similar question but about clothing and shoes - I wanted to start on designing for my own clothing store. The answer I got was only what was in game is what we can use to create, sell or use personally.
  15. what do you want to see in the prisons of identity?

I'd be more inclined to support a one prison per server idea. But as you've suggested on each level inside the prison different classes. LEVEL 1 - Remand/Petty criminals LEVEL 2 - Burglary and drug dealers LEVEL 3 - Murderers and crime lords.
  16. Musician/Band Member

Good idea, but I think if you wanted to be a musician and refine your craft; you'd start more on a busking scale. A performer shouldn't be paid via the city fund unless it was a city run event or festival. If people want to listen to you they would pay themselves. If you've been given permission to perform at a bar, a mutually agreed price of entry by you and the bar owner could be put on the door. So that anyone wanting to drink at the establishment would have to pay like $5 to get in and you'd get a cut of the entrance fee. A security guard would collect the money and return it at the end of the night... he may also charge an extra $5 and keep that for himself
  17. what do you want to see in the prisons of identity?

They could stream radios in the prison using the computer as well so prisoners are kept up-to-date with news happening in the real real world, or listen to an Identity radio station stream, where they can listen to news happening in the server. Players could call into the (Identity) station and pretend to give shoutouts to their friends at work, or in prison, and pass on subliminal messages.
  18. Death

I see... so you aren't a fan of deaths being investigated then?
  19. Death

Going on from this idea, I think after someone dies Police should investigate that persons death, the coroner then called to collect the body and taken to the hospital. If the doctors can bring this player back to life (possibly for a price?) they can or they'll be confirmed dead and go to the morgue awaiting collection from family/under taker.
  20. Identity takes place in a fictional land in the eastern United States, inspired primarily by the Carolinas and Georgia. The map is expected to be an enormous 200 km2 and boasts of dirty cities, beautiful beaches and farmlands with snowcapped mountains and everything in between! What the Identity map doesn't have is an official name! Write down your suggestions for map names; and if you like the suggested name click like on the comment! Let's get ideas for names flowing...
  21. Warrants and Arrests

Depending on which country you live in of course. In New Zealand, our officers aren't armed with guns, they're taken through basic training of firearms but not assumed competent and permitted to be holding firearms during day-to-day patrols. A typical officer has a pepper spray, baton, taser and cuffs. If firearms are required for whatever reason; a request for a specialist team is made over the radio to attend the callout. Drones are also used in investigations.
  22. Police Force

I think you're onto something there @DrFelixPhD - Chief of Police should be notified of all new cadets that have applied to be an officer and are going through training. Once completed, it'll be up to him based on their test results as to whether they've been accepted or not and can only (per server) apply no more than 3 times.
  23. Hospitals & public health

Oh, and pharmacies or chemists where people can purchase medicine for cures of particular ailments! Another business in itself. Importing, exporting FDA approved drugs to get what the people need during certain times of the year and the occasional outburst of an epidemic. Researching new medicines in order to be promoted in a health career as well!
  24. SWAT Training

If you choose a law enforcement career; you'll have to go through a series of steps, challenges or achievements in order to be promoted. Through this you'll inherently learn how to do things correctly and not just gungho all guns blazing into something as simple as a petty theft case. Notwithstanding your fellow officers are most likely to correct you, and worse if the Chief finds out you may be demoted! Detectives could actually check guns for fingerprints which is also helpful.
  25. Hospitals & public health

@NutterButter You might develop a cancerous tumor from all those cigarettes you smoke? It's just an idea.
