Modders in the GTA world is pretty much certain servers allow menus such as LAMBDA etc, which is not something official servers will have. The reason GTA uses menu's like LAMDA is GTA is not written to be RP and many of the GTA RP servers really do not have much Dev experience so it's easier to open a server, say it's RP and allow people to pull vehicles for free etc. Identity is built around the RP experience, and what abilities the Dev's want you to have is what you will get and not through a janky 3rd party mod application. Nothing like GTA. Future unofficial servers may have the ability to use mods, but that is so far out in the future that there really is no talk about it. As for hackers, Asylum's Altis Life Servers on Arma are pretty decent with hack detection tools, I'm sure Identity will be pretty secure, no one wants your experience to be ruined by hackers.

Hi, @marked. The game is not yet released and it is not even in Beta yet. However, if you have purchased the "FOUNDER" package (or any package higher/more expensive than FOUNDER) then you will have access to the 1st module beta testing on MARCH 21st. This will simply be a social module and will be extremely limited in what you can do. This is simply to test out some of the pre-order package bonuses, report bugs and socialise with the rest of the community. More modules will be released throughout the year, however, no dates have been given. The reason for the lack of any livestreamers is due to the fact that it is not yet released and not a single person has had access to it as the Developers are still working unbelievably and incredibly hard at adding, changing and improving features within the game and making sure that it is stable for when the beta-testing happens on March 21st. I'm sure there will be many people livestreaming and recording when that day comes. The Developers always stream their progress, creating some of the props and items on their Twitch channel which you can find by clicking HERE. They stream every Tuesday and Thursday. The Community Manager ( @Beach_Ball ) and the Devs also release Dev Blogs which you can find by clicking HERE to keep the community updated on their progress. They usually post these every couple/few months as, if they posted one every single month, they wouldn't have time to work on the game as they would be too busy with the blogs and providing information to the CM, Beach. You can also check the Announcements by clicking HERE. Here are a few pieces of useful information for you. I also highly recommend taking a very long look around both the website and the community forums as there is a lot of useful information for you. Also, please be sure to make use of the community search bar as any questions you have will, most likely, have been asked before and it's better to prevent creating numerous posts about the same topic. I can't decide between being a hardcore business man or to live in the woods to be a hunter / fisherman. Tough question, I think I will try every career!

People may start a security business and do security duties. To join/start the business you must take a tutorial on the job, which will give you your guard card. People in this job will have access to security clothing and items depending on the role. Security Guard Handgun Flashlight Baton Pepper Spray Vest Mini-first aid kit Radio High-Level Guard Assualt Rifle Handgun Baton Taser Vest Flashlight Radio Agent Handgun (hidden in suit) Vest (under suit) Flashlight (hidden in suit) Radio (small, harder to see in ear)

This ^^ however, how cool would it be if you could rent a business location, that you could have a hidden wall like running a clothing store but behind a wall or bookcase you are actually selling weed or guns. That would be pretty cool.

I plan on going into Policing as my main job. I've always enjoyed that side of the RP situation.

Name: Arlen Anderson Appearance: 5'9, dark blonde hair. Blue eyes Race/Nationality: Caucasian / British Personality: Aspirational, Adventurous, Friendly, Dreamer, Interested in Travel Educational: Degree in Business and Media, and an A Level in Economics Sexuality: Straight Misc Facts: Ten years younger than all his other siblings. Youngest son in the family by a long shot. Background: Arlen was ten years younger than his siblings, by the time Arlen was ten, all of his other brothers were all ready diving into his father's business. Arlen's father was a very successful businessman in London, owning a prestigious accounting firm, and was a millionaire. However, Arlen grew up mostly on his own. Throughout his childhood, Arlen's parents were too busy worrying about his brother's education and their business to spend any time with him, so the only person Arlen really knew was his tutor. Arlen spent a lot of time staring out the window of his country home, wishing he could just be outside exploring, rather than being stuck inside with his tutor doing Maths. Arlen was a born explorer. Before long he was studying maps and researching other countries. Sometimes Arlen would sneak out of his house and just wander about the endless hills and forests and see where he would end up, and he made many friends in the villages and towns in where he lived. Eventually, Arlen would have to leave his tutor and attend a private secondary school. While at school, Arlen found an interest in business. Arlen loved the idea of starting from the bottom to the top and creating an empire all from your own personal skill, it was at this moment that Arlen decided that this was the sort of thing he wanted to do when he was older. After finishing his degree in business and media at university, Arlen's father decided that it was time he came into the family business. "Its your time to contribute towards the family's business" his father announced one evening. This shocked Arlen, his whole life he had no interruptions and could do whatever he pleased, but now he was expected to spend his life doing something he did not want to do. Arlen wanted to travel the world!! Not spend his life in a boring accounting firm. "All of your brothers are doing it, and they're doing very well Arlen. I will NOT allow you to ruin our family's business that has been going on for 150 years! You will come with me to the office Monday morning whether you like it or not!" his father shouted back, before storming out of the room. All of his life Arlen had dreamed of exploring the world and making his own life for himself, and this was not what he had dreamt about. Arlen was not going to waste his life doing boring accounting. In this spout of rebellion, Arlen booked the cheapest flight he could. He did not have any money, so he used his father's credit card to pay for the flight. The flight was to an small American seaside town called Roseport. At night the next day, Arlen would pack some clothes and some food into a small bag and dissapear into the night - never to be seen by his family again. Arlen was going to make his own way in life, and he was going to make it big.

There is an internet in the game, but not twitter. There's a facebook knockoff called "Facefile" as well as text messaging and checking your bank account.

Goodmorning citizens! These new screenshots of the Town Square include paint overs and images to add edits and proper realism to the final product so the TS won't essentially look like this on release, but here's some new pictures for you to enjoy as we draw closer to March 21!

Happy Holidays From Asylum! The holidays are upon us, and the team at Asylum begins their short rest! We've been busier than ever, and this coming January is shaping up to be one of our biggest months in a very long time, if not ever. Our expanded team has been working hard on game features beyond the Town Square, and you're finally going to be getting a glimpse of true Identity gameplay very soon in the new year; that's just the start. Keeping it Real Primary systems in Identity such as weapons and vehicles are being developed to operate as realistically as possible. Last week a few of the developers braved the freezing temperatures at a local range to record audio directly from a slew of real firearms in all sorts of conditions. It's very important to us that the weapons in Identity look, sound and react as close to reality as possible. We've even modeled the ballistic physics based on real-world mathematical formulas. Powerful weapons are going to be rare in Identity. Assault weapons, for example, will likely be used in major circumstances. For the most part players will have access to less powerful weaponry; melee, hand guns, hunting rifles, and so on will be the norm. Here it Comes! With the Town Square development moving along, we're not far off from showing the world real Identity gameplay! Like I said up there, January is going to be a big month. For us in the studio, we're excited to get our hands on a few new technology demos that might have a huge impact on Identity! For our fans, January is going to be the month you see the first true world gameplay video. Not only that, but soon after we're looking to release a Town Square trailer! Keep your eyes out on Identity's Twitter and Facebook. The Twitch Clips If you've been following Identity's development closely, you probably already know that developers stream their work live on the Identity Twitch channel every Tuesday and Thursday (except on this coming week due to holidays). We also use that time to answer almost every question that gets asked about Identity's development and gameplay. Now that we've been doing this a while, we've answered a lot of questions. Our awesome community manager, BeachBall, has taken the time to compile a massive list of questions linked to clips where they're answered by a developer. Get comfy and head over to the Twitch Clips Directory forum thread. If you haven't found this already, be prepared to spend a good bit of time listening to all sorts of awesome information. This is the best place to get to know the fine details Identity! -- John VanderZwet

You won't be able to customize the map. At least not on release, afaik. Maybe later down the line. You can customize various options that affect the map (weather, length of day and night, probably how often resources regenerate if ever, jobs, proffessions, laws etc). You can't move houses or lakes etc.
