We can only hope. Just worried that the game ends up getting pushed too far that people lose interest

Maybe the first module will come before the end of the year, that would be cool.

here a list of things that make anyone play any game like gta: -any kind of k/d rate. -any loot you drop when you die -guns and ammo that are cheaper than the loot someone gets from killing you -whitelisted noobs as cops -no cops -15 minute jail penalty for killing >100 people

First of all let me start by saying that this is, in no way, an attempt to start any kind of flame war, or to attack Asylum. I represent a genuine group of concerned investors who, for whatever reason, decided to back this enterprise. Over the last few months people have been posting about Motown/Paratus being scammers, about how we should 'do our research' etc etc. Well we did our research BEFORE we invested and I want to make it clear that these posters have quite clearly NOT done any research of their own. All the controversy surrounding Arma3 mods did NOT involve Altis Life, Motown or Paratus. So those are not our concerns. We invested in Identity simply because we shared their vision, but now we would like an answer. Before I ask the obvious question, I want to make something else clear, we do NOT want an answer from a 'fan' or a moderator, we want to hear from the Devs. The question is this: Is Identity still in development, and if so, what is it's status as of today? If, like us, you are a concerned investor in this project, then please sign this petition for a reply & maybe we can see an end to the constant posting of this same dam question over and over again.

I'm 18 and honestly this is true. I've met my fair share of adult trolls that won't take it serious because they think they're high and mighty. But I do like when younger kids treat their RPers with respect. It's very refreshing.

And that was what i said, not all are trolls. But there is alot of 12 years old that are. And there is of course 18 years and 13 and 11 years old that trolls aswell. And the thing is they can't prove that they are good cops by doing the "test" or whatever it gonna be ingame. They need to prove that they are good out in the field to prove that they are a good cop and worth to be one. I know when the game is fully released there will be 12 year old cops, and i'm pretty sure there will be some real awesome 12 year old cops. And the thing about being older is that they(or most of them) show respect to the older ones. And that it's something that is worth gold. Having a 12 year old ingame showing respect. Or atleast for me it is. Now i'm 21 years old almost 10 years older. But as i said they can prove it on the field(aka ingame)

You make a good point. 12 year olds are trolls. But not all. I trust some of them and they can be good if they apply themselves to the job.

^^^^ Quote is being wierd to me can't remove it. Of course there will be both trolling 12 year olds and good 12 year olds. And as you said Genesmith they can prove that they are worth to be a cop. Just by playing by the rules etc makes them a good cop.

Yeah, this would bring alot roleplaying to the job. And it would be possible to make aswell, they just need to have something that brings people to the job. Something fun to do on it, like you said not drive around for half an hour. Maybe have ESU as a part time job, and wile nothing happends there you maybe do drugs or something like that, and ESU can be a "jobcover" so you don't see suspicious out wile it's raining in money, the job could actually be a real fun job. But there needs to be effort and time put into it, and as you said take sometime to put a fire out and you can't be alone wile putting it out. Look how awesome wouldn't it be? Like, i've played both CIV/COP/ESU alot. And i mean alot, and there was always changes on ILG/ILL on the CIV/COP jobs but only a few times on the ESU. And as a part time job irl i actually are fire-fighter. It pays well, and that does my other job also do. Something awesome would be that if we could choose if we can take the fire-fighter job as a full-time job or a part-time job This also brings somemore roleplay to the game. Well i can see this infront of me haha, you and me Herzog driving around in Identity putting fires out

Also as much as it might make it harder if esu players are lacking on servers but I'd like to maybe have it that you need multiple firefighters to put out a fire and it take time not one person putting out a fire in seconds
  13. 1 point
Well there is no age limit for becoming an officer in the game but The game will most definitely be a 18 rated game but when does that stop 12 year old's from playing 18's? It simply don't. That's why the developers said it will be an 18 game but they don't mind younger gamer's playing it. As long as a 12 year old has parents that allow them to play an 18 game then there will always be a 12 year old joining.

Excacly, all you did was to scroll and it stood "Put out fire" or something like that then you got payed like 10,000$ for each fire you did put out. Some realistic stuff etc, and what you wrote should be added. If there will be fire-fighters!

Used to be an admin for the TCG IL servers. Played a lot as cop and esu and ruled quite a few gangs in my time on there. Just hoping that the features for the public services doesn't end up with you driving around for half an hour before spending a couple of seconds to push a button and put out a small fire. Should take longer to put out fires and possibly have interior fires where the firefighters must go inside to extinguish the fire and rescue casualties

I wouldn't like this at all actually. Well, as James said its a player driven game and it should stay like that. Having private servers etc, fine. But then people probaly are going to abuse that, and give them self stuff. I think Identity should stay like it is going to be. No AI's, just playerdriven game.

I would love to play as a fire-fighter. Have you played on ILL/ILG @Herzog? Have been playing as ESU there for a quiet a wile. Love the job, and if the devolopers of Identity put some effort and time into a job like ESU that would be awesome. Pharamedic/Fire-fighter. Both jobs are fun and has alot of roleplaying in them. And as a fire-fighter/pharamedic/cop you need to know the map, and thats great for playing as a CIV later if you start out with thoose jobs. Then you will know the map good, and will do a great job transporting illegal stuff even get aways from the cops. So thats a great way to start out and if they want to go extreme roleplay they make so we are not full-time firefighters. Only on calls we go out as a fire-fighter. Maybe drive from our Apartment to the fire-station and get the team thougther and go out on calls. Of course it will be hard to have something like this but nothing is impossible right? Not in a game atleast.

From what the devs have been saying, it sounds like you will be in jail for alot more time than 10 minutes for a murder.

Shimo you can't really change the story with mods, Frank is saying regardless of the skin colour you mod the main protagonist to the story is all messed up

Hey guys, thanks for your concerns. Identity is absolutely still in active development, but we understand these concerns have a tendency to grow within the community each time we have become quieter than usual. We're a small team with limited resources so we spend a lot of that time focusing on development tasks. Development is our first love, and none of us are really experts at marketing or Public Relations. We definitely owe our fans a lot more attention than we've given, and admittedly, our PR game has been pretty poor. Until we get that sorted, you can actively find Paratus and I on the unofficial, fan Discord server. Message us anytime for any reason! I'm always around and available for a chat about anything you'd like to talk about. Paratus doesn't seem to check his messages quite as often, and the others don't seem to be very chatty on social networks, but we've extended invites to them for when they do decide to eventually join us. It's important to know that most game projects spend a few years in development before they are announced to the world. That gives them the added benefit of working without pressure from their communities. But Identity was announced when development started, so we've always struggled with knowing when to prioritize marketing over development being a small team, especially myself being both the Community Manager and a 3D artist on the project. It's been a challenge for me to switch between modes, and I regret that I haven't been very effective at it. As a quick progress update. Last week, on the art side, we finished up all of the remaining face sculpts, complete with textures and shaders, that you have seen us posting periodically on Twitter, and those, along with about 50 pieces of clothing (we still need so much more) are currently undergoing rigging. And on the programming side, we completed the karaoke feature, which we will test on Monday. I myself am working on 3d modeling a one bedroom apartment, as well as a hotel bedroom. These things will all be featured in the Town Square module as well as the completed game! Thank you again for all of your support, and I hope this provides a sliver of the information you guys have been craving to hear about!

Im here to back the game from start to end and im not one of those people that are incredibly worries about the outcome. Whether the game comes out or not im glad i could have helped. I would however like to know whether the game is still in development or not and what its current status is. Thanks Asylum.
