    First of all the statement to be pro police and then have the "FBI" @FBI step in is very silly I hope he was not coached into that @FrancePourLaVie. If you have seen my prior posts I am very interested in policing people and to let you know a police department won't help with votes due to money we do this work because we want to not because there is money to be made. Also removing guns from civilians will cause you to violate a constitutional right which once a judge signs the warrant I might be the cop arresting you. I would change you're pitch and just say I will support the citizens and all emergency personal equally and do the best I can for the public. Just a Thought.

    Just to add 10 codes in police departments are fading due to the issue with federal, state, city, and other towns using different codes generally brief speech would be used with the exception of the very common and broad use 10 codes.

    There will be an elected Governor on the island with a staff that has the ability to change how the police force works by passing new laws/infractions. Since as you shown us there will be a progressive track how will an officer know how to deal with that new law/infraction? How do we know the officer just doesn't get into a uniform to rob people? How do we know that a player uses the role to push their criminal enterprise by calling code 4 at scenes that are not? So in the end there needs to be an application process and a training process. While also leadership that can make the training, SOP's, and help and guide officers to make the right choice. 

    My ideas are to have a town hall election for higher leadership for the PD which then can use the town hall to recruit honest and law abiding players to act as officers with training and a comprehensive test.

    First off I am running for Chief of Police not Governor. Also I see Turaxis does not like how myself or @Lil_Fish pick our top positions. Sadly currently its not about in the server experience if that is what you rather have then give the criminals a few weeks to get settled so they can knock the cops very fast. For a police department to work correctly on launch you need structure with experience in RL or Sim along with some people new to this field. You need structure and the ability to teach the police the Laws and server laws prior and during launch. A police department is not something just thrown together in two hours.

    This is my plan for what ever official server we end up in. As I see it you're idea is more focused on no organization and let controlled chaos take over. As for "friends" getting high positions I am placing people in positions they are fit for. I am going after talent, real life experience, and RP experience for leadership positions for my proposed police department. If you would like to propose you're own that is totally fine but in you're own thread. I am trying to do what other people have done in the past make something organized. Just like companies, political parties, crime families etc.... I am just trying to bring organization to the police department. Thanks for you're concern. @Narc

    Hello Law Enforcement Community,

    I just wanted to quickly touch face with you all regarding our status and developments. So far we are off to an amazing start to organize the police department more then it has been in the past. We will be setting up some Google Docs for everyone soon which will better show our rank system. There will also be a test function coming out soon for general acceptance, along with more job specific tests for certain groups within the department. As mentioned before we are just building this to give everyone a basic idea on how this will all run. Its going to be a learning experience for us all since we are unsure about the development of the PD. I also wanted to bring up the fact that this rank structure may not be what we all see when the server launches this is more for the developers to see the interest in certain positions and the structure we generally are looking for. I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the massive support thus far and please continue that while also spreading the word. Thanks again everyone.

    I am looking for someone very good with Google Docs like making spreadsheets, Forums, and some other stuff to help organize the police department. I am also looking for someone that has some graphic design experience to help make some PD logos and banners for the google docs. Please PM me if interested or know someone that might be interested.

    True... but at the same time DEA = Drug Enforcement Administration. But honestly, regional DTFs do a lot of work and when it gets out of that region, they kinda give it to the Feds.

    I agree the DTF is more fitting for what Identity is about, also that position has been added at a small number since that agent will also use officers to take down a subject.

    I highly doubt that since it is a rather small land mass bringing in federal would require a president, congress, senate, and a director of said group. As of now I believe we only have a Governor. For a DEA, FBI, Marshall's, CIA, NSA etc..... we need a full government. I believe DEA was misquoted and would be a drug task force part of the PD.

    Without a doubt, as mentioned I am running for Chief of police for the start of the server to get the PD into an effective role asap. As for the Federal stuff someone would need to run that area since its  a different branch @BobbyCruz might beable to help you with that @Kraztec.

    Sadly we are not sure how SWAT would exist nor DEA, But we can make an Internal Affairs spot but you will need an interview for that spot.

    As all of you know I am Kracken aka Ken Blackout from A3PL. I am here to finally set the Police Department into a formal world, as a hopeful leader. I am going to propose a rank system to you all after you're input. I want leaders to step up and assume high command positions I was our police officers to step up and fill this department. I have met many of you and I know you're experience hence the reason you were tagged. Invite people to come join us but lets structure this department better then we have been doing. My vision is to unite all our police in one area and set up a rank function so we can all better serve the community. I have thought over this decision long and hard but finally I had to grab the bull by the horns. I wish to head up the police department until someone is elected into the position. If elections are not needed I will hand the position over once we are finished building the police departments solid foundation. Let us officers unite for one common goal. Now for the fun part Positions:

    Hello everyone as you know I am Kracken aka Ken Blackout from A3PL, I have been rather active with you all here and decided to make a solid team of officers before the server launches. We have to be ready to do our job when the time comes and that is what I want to push for. I am going to be looking to head the police department for a bit until a proper leader or elected leader can assume control. I will be posting my police department ideals and will edit this one once it is complete. LETS DO THIS

I think people with no real experience can still play a great role in ideas from another point of view and things like that. The only thing you said that makes me wonder is about the experienced role players and what worked in the past. I agree in a way, but also think this game seems to be different than others and may not be able to base it on what's worked in the past. But... we won't know until it comes out! Lol. I thin as a community, we have some cool stuff going for us all.
