When I think scam, I'm imagining a person/people deliberately baiting others into giving them free money without intent to deliver. It's more probable that this game keeps getting snagged by a couple of things to make it in danger of reaching a thing we indie devs call Development Hell. Firstly, people need to realize that this project is ambitious beyond belief even for a seasoned developer. These types of games typically require a studio hundreds if not more devs working full-time to get done as quickly as the player base is demanding. Secondly, the budget funds raised for the game are nowhere near enough to sustain a team working full-time on this project. Which means unless they dipped into their own pockets to fund or found another source of funds, this project would have probably tilted more on the side of a Passion Project (working on a game in spare time for free/for the love of game dev itself). Thirdly, especially in an indie studio where the team is on the smaller side, life stuff happening chisels out dev times harder than in a team where there's plenty of people to cover if one or more people are out of commission for awhile. So my fear and hesitation for this game isn't so much that I think it is a scam (I personally do not believe it is - from a fellow indie game dev POV), but that it is a project that is highly susceptible to fall indefinitely into Development Hell at some point. Especially in the long run of things. MMO's are a pain to maintain and keep content fresh and updated. It's a neverending developed game, unlike offline games. ^^;; The only problem I have so far with this game (other than the extreme Dev Hell risk) is that there needs to be a touch more understanding on management: How to market/maintain their backer interest, prioritizing certain things, etc. for example the lack of communication by way of making gameplay videos and "pledge package" details, etc. NDA-type stuff is mandatory for large companies that fund their own games. It shouldn't be so hard to find organized pockets of info and gameplay videos and all that for a game that is crowdfunded. A.K.A. you can't create a crowdfund game and treat the marketing the same way a AAA-title game company will. I mean you CAN, but it's not really a nice thing to do.

Announcement I will no longer be updating this post because of full-time work. I simply don't have enough time to do it every morning. Day 4 Day 4 is looking to be a little bit slow in terms of progress, this just means more work can be done tomorrow! Character Art: Seems like the developers have taken this task on board and hopefully we can see this finished by tomorrow! Notice: From this day onward until day 19 i was away due to a sudden family tragedy, that's why you see a sudden jump in the days Day 19 Day 20 Day 20 looks like a rather slow day, considering we are getting into the coding aspect we can begin to see these slow days occur more often. Progression Pictures Days 1-5 Side By Side (Click) Days 5-10 Side By Side (Click) Days 1-10 Side By Side (Click) Days 10-20 Side By Side (Click) Days 1-20 Side By Side (Click) Summary Looking at the images above you can sort of see the development pan out at a decent pase so far, keep in mind that the more tasks that are ticked off means more man power for the rest of the tasks. With the data above 54 total tasks with an average of 5 being completed a day, i can assume the game COULD be ready for launch in 14-20 days. taking into account the extra man power when tasks are done. This is also assuming developers dont run into any major setbacks. I will try to keep this post up to date with daily updates on the tasks, Also giving my opinion on the day. In the mean time i want to know what everyone else thinks about all these tasks? Will there be more put in? Will the pase of the development speed up? Let me know what you think down below! How exactly are you fighting for this game in such a way? Dont get me wrong, i am not trying to offend you, but your way of supporting the current game is wrong. People have spent their hard earned money on this game and you get nothing in return. Instead of pushing the developers to give us answers, we stay passive and trustworthy towards them. Its your way of dealing with is and i respect it, but let me remind you of DayZ, Seven days to Die and H1Z1, which i was part of the aplha as well. It was the same story as here, which at the end, us the contributors were the losers. I, myself want this game to succeed. But what i dont want is for my money to be wasted on high hopes (again). So, please, i beg you. DEMAND what you deserve.

Rust as well. The game was crap and we got the Pre-Alpha version before even releasing on steam. But at least we were happy that we got something to work on. Contributors are not ordinary players. They are your testers and your best feedback source.

This game is all about roleplaying, so the favorite thing for me, besides 'the army' would me being an 'auction seller' I think this will never be a personal job in game, but i would really love to do this, besides my regular job in game, I was thinking like putting an ad in the newspaper or something else, which will say the specific time and date where it will be held and it will be auctioned at. I would like to hear your comments on this idea, sorry if my English has some mistakes. -MeLikeyKebab123

    1. It was supposed to release then 2. it was delayed because the CC Company never got back to them after john multiple times each day was emailing and calling them, which everything got no response. They finally got a reply after weeks of waiting on them.

This sounds like a great job opportunity, especially if a company needs to liquidate its assets.

Star Citizen is actually the comparison I was going to make as well. They released most of their modules before changing their price structure and already had dozens of videos showcasing gameplay and features. They also haven't locked anyone out of playing the individual modules or from early access to the persistent universe. There is no excuse for not having any up-to-date gameplay or feature trailers and it's very unprofessional to raise the price of the game and remove access to existing content just because some people don't want to just blindly spend money on a game where almost nothing has been shown.

Unfortunetly there are no money to be made, and no jobs. Its a socialist dream up in there, everything is free! Apartments included, there will be no jobs before all 3 moduls are done a.k.a Beta. They stated that there will be a wipe before release so everyone can start on a equal footing.

I see the "wait-until-its-perfect-because-of-first-impressions" position but I am also a firm believer in the customer is always right side. And the customers to date have thrown 1 million 200,000 plus dollars towards development. I don't think it's being whiney at all to say "Heah, let us play with it and tell you where it needs tweaking." Not to say Star Citizen has done everything right but they HAVE handed the product to the patrons with all it's imperfections from very, very early on in devlopment and thereby given the backers some ownership in the game and, buggy as it is, some satisfaction that 1.) the game is tangible and 2.) they are helping to make it better with their hands-on feedback. I would much, much, much more prefer to have it buggy and hands on and seeing improvements along the way than to just wait and wait and wait. But, that's me.

You're referring to the individual actions of a few individuals that proclaim to associate themselves with such an organization. However, the organization heavily revolves around countering fascism throughout any means necessary, which includes punching literal Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and Fascists that promote their intentionally violent ideals on to humanity.

I think a more realistic to say end of June. But i do belive we should start to see some real content soon™. Gameplay is left and thats usely where the bugs pop up. So i think we should expect to see more bugs being added. I think it be a great thing if they talked a litle about the individual task remaining. It would sure help in setting our expectations and curiosity.

Which fascist tactics is one referring to? Utilizing violence as a means towards countering against aggressively violent regimes is fascist? Thus, you must also oppose the French Resistance, the Jewish Resistance, and any other nation-state or organization that had utilized violence against NAZI Germany and Fascist Italy. "Anti-Fascist Movement" (ANTIFA) are aware that Fascist regimes, such as Neo-Nazis, are inherently violent since their ideology revolves around utilizing violence against non-Aryans. Thus, to defend minority groups with violence is completely justified since these fascist organizations already conspire to commit genocide against non-Aryan or non-Fascist individuals.
