Ima have my go at this question.. Okay so this is what is confirmed so far: There will be two different main deparmtments like City and County police i'm pretty sure (Or is it Police and Sheriffs? Someone correct me if i'm wrong), SWAT, mini DEA, and detective. I think theres like 1 more that was confirmed but that's all so far. Next time please dig around the forums even though many of us are really happy to help!

You can only have one career path. If you're a small time gangster i'm pretty sure it's not a career so yeah, you can do that. It's all depending on how specific you want to go because it might take you out of the Police Career if you become a Criminal Career, it's confusing to explain, but I hope I helped!

I'm so happy to see that there will most likely be different uniforms for different police jobs, such as Sheriff, Police, SWAT, etc. Not what I was hoping for but it's something decent.

This is a simple question, next time please dig around the forums before asking questions but to awnser here I go.. Okay so, when you join a career you get certain buffs and skills with it in game but it only retains to the career and job choice. So when you leave the career i'm pretty sure all the skills will be lost until you rejoin that career. I also think you might be talking about in real life, yes you could pick up training to become better than leave but it will only stick with what you learned irl Really hope I helped!

In regards to what you might expect is unknown but some things that might be thought to be put in might be license plate identification, person identification, (possibly vehicle regulations?). I would expect that it would be moderately similar to real life where the cop would make sure your truck is up to code, check your plates, your id, ask you a few questions, talk about whatever they pulled you over for, then let you go. Hope this helps but the devs still aren't telling us a lot

Everyone please take into account that as stated above, the team is small, they have a small budget, and they want everything to be PERFECT and a surprise. Also, @Kalebninja, yes you do need to develop something or at least experience what it's like to know how hard it is you inconsiderate asshole. The devs have released numerous screenshots and concept arts but only about the module. Now to cut the fanboy bullshit, to be honest, the devs have not released much. They have awnsered questions about what everything will be like but they are lacking publicity and screenshots. Yes, they release some pictures every other month or so but we need more than a building or a few models. We would like to see progress.
