  1. Mining

There won't be any armored trucks for money transportation. There's not a lot of information about corporations, but don't be surprised if a company has its own bank account. https://clips.twitch.tv/NaiveCuteDragonflyPanicBasket
  2. License Plates

This thread is about license plates. But I'll still answer your question. Yes you'll be able to steal and hotwire cars. https://clips.twitch.tv/ArborealHonestPlumM4xHeh https://clips.twitch.tv/SquareHelpfulCasetteThunBeast
  3. I mean it's a true reality that a game (or part of a game in this case) might get boring after a while. But it's still a community gathering module, and they will push more updates after the initial release of Town Square. After exploring what it has to offer, I might just hop on to see who's in there you know, mess around.
  4. Hi, I'm Zara

Welcome to the community @Zara! I'm not sure if you mean "Zeed" or "Zed", because I'm a (French speaking) Canadian and tend to say "Zed". And I'm glad you could potentially bring more people in Identity. Hope to see you in the game when it'll come out!
  5. System Build Suggestions

That seems like a really good budget build!
  6. @Paul96 I think this post shows a concept art of the rusty car of the pledge reward. EDIT: I've actually sent a DM to Beach_Ball about the sports car, and hopefully he'll be able to answer or ask the developers when he'll be at work.
  7. I have the $250 pledge, and I'm also curious if the sports car will look similar to the concept orange car in the trailer video of Identity. I think @LuckyDuck once mentioned about it.
  8. Can you marry. (or homosexual)

Marriage is not going to give any perks or affect game play. You are free to role play in a big house with multiple players, but there won't be any sex.
  9. I do believe you'll be able to go to your garage if your pledge reward includes one. Then you'll be able to enter it and mess around. You won't be able to drive it though. Which pledge you want is up to you. The pledge reward vehicles are just there to make moving around a little bit easier when the beta will be out. Don't forget they are old vehicles though.
  10. Can you marry. (or homosexual)

You can only be married to one person at a time regardless of gender. You can also create "gangs" which is sort of a guild or social group.
  11. Hello from Denmark :D

Welcome to the community @LoWyLoAs Hope you'll enjoy the game as much as I'll do.
  12. System Build Suggestions

I want a 1080 TI and a 8th gen i7 on my future build but yeah, I have to agree the pricing is absurd at the moment.
  13. Delay thoughts?

It does suck to wait indeed. I also prefer that they would release a more stable and polished module than a very bugged one. And my response to those who's still skeptical about the truthfulness of the project, they have their own office to work in, and have roughly 20 (or more, not sure) developers working for Asylum. Also, they have released a video (despite leaving mixed feelings among the community) with game play footage that shows that the game does exist.
  14. Hunting traps (for animals ofc)

There's plenty of hunting games out there, but I never played any because I dislike hunting. A game might get banned in certain countries depending on the content, but that can really depend. I'm not willing to make a very pushed search for that matter. In GTA V, it's known that you can injure or kill various animals by different means, but there's no trapping. On a more personal note, I'd prefer that the developers doesn't add traps, or at least exclude the ones that are known to cause lots of harm and pain.
  15. Possible Ways to Publicise the Game?

Would you want a product with plenty of bugs that players will complain about and lose interest into the game? We've had an official release date, but as it'll be very tight and stressful for the developers, John decided to push it one month later. Just let them polish their stuff, reinforce their server structure, work on their new UI, and do internal testing.
  16. Kidney

That is... creepy... That would be a good question to ask (Beach_Ball) for the Twitch streams. Honestly I'm not sure that they'll implement organs in the criminal market. Ask yourself, would it be allowed in a game?
  17. Delay thoughts?

I think that's how the developers felt with the old release date: But seriously, if they judge it's best to wait an extra month, then it's for the best, despite that I've seen some extremely upset people. If they have to delay it again, I'll have very mixed feelings about the project and would be quite concerned.
  18. How does the community feel?

I'm not going to put my vote as it won't really help in anything rather than knowing who's upset more or less about the delays. Also we've been given estimations except for the actual date (21st of March) which was pushed one month later (23rd of April).
  19. Delay thoughts?

I didn't bother about the delayed C&A video, but the TS module official release date being pushed though... So I'm like 50/50, still unsure about if I'll refund or not if it gets delayed, but I'd rather wait and see how it goes. I'm a very patient and tolerant pledger, which might be why I'm not being super angry about it. Although, the delay really surprised me and it did sadden me.
  20. My rant video

It was just a response to your video and didn't have anything to do with Brian. I took two hours of my time to clear things up and give a bit of my opinion. I'm not sure if they're over their head or not, but all I know is that they decided to start this project because no one else did. If they sell it to another game developer company, I would be very worried that the game ends up differently than what it was originally meant to be. Imagine if AAA company decides to make it pay to "win", and add features that would break the immersion, sort of like Rockstar with GTA V. That would be a big turn off for me... I know they've shown some old assets, but I'll still wait to see what they have to show for Town Square. But if it ends up being delayed again, it'll be very painful. Already that I've seen a few friends of mine being frustrated about TS delayed to April. As you already know, I've pledge a good amount of money in this. At first, I didn't want to spend that much, because it was still very early. First pledge I made was $30 because I wanted to have at least access to the modules and beta when it would come out. I eventually made it up to $250 progressively, not only because I could afford it, but because I wanted this game to succeed. I wanted to give support to the developers because I knew that Asylum wasn't a triple A company. I pay my respect to everyone working hard into the project, but they'll definitely need to work harder concerning the delays.
  21. [FR] Addict Life RôlePlay

FR: Je vous souhaite bon succès! J'aimerais bien rejoindre votre serveur et vous aider, mais je suis déjà dans une compagnie (anglaise) et je veux me dédier à un seul serveur qui sera choisit par la compagnie. EN: I wish you success! I'd like to join your server and help you, but I'm already part of a company (English) and I want to be dedicated on one server only that will be chosen by the company.
  22. My rant video

You have some fair points, but I'll add my opinion along with that. First point, I'll touch the GIF pictures. I'm not sure about the SWAT guy, but I know some of the clothing was already done a while ago, like the sheriff one. I know for sure the deer was done a long time ago already though. Remember the old trailer video with the guy hunting? But yeah, honestly I'd prefer to see more Town Square related stuff. The other stuff can wait later. Second point is about the trees. There won't be uniquely that one specific tree, but sadly I don't have any screenshots on hand to show some of the new trees, which I think I've seen a glimpse a while ago. But it's common to see birch trees being thin or larger. For example on my yard, one of the smallest one is just a few inches of diameter, while the largest (although very old) is over a foot (and a half?) large. But another thing is that there's going to be various species of trees in module one. There's also a park to walk around in. There's a post showing some nice screenshots that will give an idea how Town Square will look like, but it includes paint overs so it's definitely not the final product. Onto my third point, I'll talk about Asylum. So you've mentioned about the newborn from the lead programmer, I agree that alone shouldn't be a reason to push the release date of Town Square module, but I think there's some other reasons, play testing, server structure reinforcement, etc. Why is it a small team? Because it's not triple A... Since 2015, progress has been very slow as we probably all knew. With a very small team and small funding of a very few thousands, I would probably understand why things has been delayed. But 2017 has been the boom year, where there was a lot of people pledging for Identity, and Asylum had the opportunity to employ new developers. In fact, they always need talented people to join their team. But those people need to find out about Asylum. Sure John could probably put some advertisements which could help, and even myself was wondering where the career page was until I remember to check the Asylum Entertainment website ( http://www.asylumentertainment.ca/careers/ ). It's probably even outdated, but I'm not sure if it's Liam or John in charge of that. They could use more developers and staff with good experience, even though I think they sit at over 20 people working for Asylum. I see John as a very busy person, he's not only the CEO, but he's also a project manager and programmer. But the more people there is, the faster you'll produce as you delegate some work charge onto other employees. I mean yeah they hired a few more people, but I think it's probably not enough, if they don't want to delay stuff over and over. So after all, I totally understand the risks that I put myself into by pledging $250 into the Identity project. I've been extremely tolerant and patient, and I will still be. But I do agree that Asylum needs to straighten things out. One day, the community manager says that things seems to be on schedule so far, next day, project manager says they need an extra month. Is there a lack of communication in the team of some sort? I was very confident about the official release date, because I knew about that they've put some dates into something (I think they might have referred to a project calendar thing where they put estimated dates for all sort of tasks, which I've learned from my college course in programming and analysis). I also knew about that they mostly needed to work on bug fixing and a few other tasks. But now that they pushed the date to the 23rd of April, I think they have more than enough time to work on what they have left to do. I was saying to one of my friend that if they push it again, I might consider a refund, because it would not be normal to push an official date two times. If not, then it's all good, I'll be happy when it'll release at that time.
  23. New Screenshots (UPDATED)

Oui, j'ai acheté le pack de 250$ ^^
  24. How is this make sense???

    My pledge: Pledged $254.86 USD
