Hey all, Dont know shout you guys, but I live for my arbitrary in-game rewards - anything like badges or achievements etc. I also particularly enjoy this new Liking system they've out in place on the forums, and this got me thinking... Perhaps if a forum profile reached certain milestones, they've be awarded little badges or tags that are present whenever said profile makes a post. These achievements could then maybe be transferable to your in-game character, where they could be displayed as perhaps patches on a leather jacket or trophies in shelves in your home? Any other ideas? Thanks! Felix

You've definitely got a good point there. I guess that brings me back round to the like limit discussion I was having, where allowing users to like any more posts than 10 might lead to spam and cheaty shizzle.

I love the idea of there being an in-game internet, similar to GTA, where you can access a bunch of made-up websites, create your own or maybe, like you said, visit the forum.

You guys have definitely got some pretty good ideas going here Liking this very much. I guess one thing that irks me, however, is whether or not committing crimes will have a good pro/con system. For instance, if I perhaps rob a bank, does the "payoff" depend on the bank's size or difficulty etc, or on some other kind of factor. The flipside is getting caught though, which made me wonder whether your sentence for your arrest would be decided by a cop/judge etc or by a predetermined list given by the server admin. I only ask this because I know how annoying some players are that decide to connect to a random server and basically kill on sight, and then leave before they're arrested, never to return again. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Indeed :3 Especially with the bigger ones, I can imagine the costs get quite high. However, I do know that R* spend a vast amount of money acquiring licenses to use music on the in-game radio stations though.

Most likely, they're going to head down the GTA route, where they take already existing cars/brands and either spoof them with a different name or remodel them a bit so that they can skip post Copyright laws.
