  1. Not getting key

You did check the the "Account" page (the very same you linked your Steam account on)? It should appear there now. If now, Beach will sort you out I'm sure.
  2. I'm well aware the "physical" roadsigns will be MPH, and that's great. But to have the sense/sensation of speed (in my head) I'm used to KMH as a reference. I know how 80 KMH should feel like visually, but not so much with 50 MPH. It's a mental thing, forcing 95% of the world to use MPH while they in actuality don't, it kinda messes with people's heads. All I wanted is a dual speedometer in your car, besides the HUD. In which to Paratus replied positive that we'll have those, even though MPH will be the bigger digits. That's all I wanted to hear really. Thank you for that. This combined with the HUD being able to display KMH, it's a great solution in my book. I'm sure we can all cope with the fact MPH will be the bigger digits on the speedometers. Heck, in the best case scenario it'll teach us to convert by head more easily over time.
  3. In all honesty, sucks for most of the world. MPH is the lesser used standard globally. Check the map below:
  4. Getting Keys!

By first of all reading these forums. Plenty of info on refunding. If you backed via PayPal make a request there.
  5. Getting Keys!

I believe it's him tweeting, there's no doubt about it. But I doubt we'll see actual keys anywhere soon. I love this company, but I've learned to take their "soon" and "almost there" comments with a grain of salt the size of Manhattan.
  6. @Paratus But how about those dual speedometers in real life? A lot of cars have those. How hard could it be to include those in all your in-game vehicles? As I understand development on the vehicles basically still has to start, so why not instruct your graphic designers to make dual speedometers? These have been mentioned and requested several times on the forums, on Discord, and on your live streams. It's like you just don't want to.
  7. Im worried...

You don't at the moment. Read more carefully. But when you'll be able to do it, it's via your website account, not your forums account.
  8. There won't be any vehicles at all during Town Square, at all. Not until module 3, which won't even be in 2019 at this rate. Also, bodyguard won't be a supported job or career. So you'll have to RP all of it. This also means you will have to trust your boss that he will actually pay you, as there won't be an automated system for non-supported jobs/careers. There's also no skill-tree (or similar things) for these kind of jobs.
  9. Scam

Pointless reply at this point. I've already said I've taken notice of this fact by discovering the other thread on the subject. I may need Google more often, but you need to read more carefully.
  10. Scam

I would call it lazy rather than wrong. It's still not a red flag for me.
  11. Scam

If you are talking about this picture, where's your proof these are real houses. Source? Thought as much.
  12. Idk. I'm an avid airsofter myself. I have a ton of gear for different types of events. So I'm a true fan. No issues there. Whenever I have to move my physical self to an arena, event area or other, I am NOT allowed to carry the replicas with me UNLESS: - Repliclas transported in a licensed and LOCKED weapon case/bag. - Magazines UNLOADED and in a separate LOCKED cases/bags. - BBs (the ammo) in a separate container (does not need to be locked). - Batteries (for AEG) unlinked and separately stored. - CO2 ampules stored separately. - Greengas (wintergas) stored separately. - The guncases are either in a locked trunk of the car (or backseat and out of reach, when no trunk in available). This is just the same with the ACTUAL GUN-LAW in my country. This means whichever applies for real firearms, also applies for airsoft replicas. This works great nearly everywhere in the world. Of course, seeing Identity is supposed to be based in an United States setting, people are screwed with gun laws from the start. When I would encounter a random traffic stop, for whatever reason, the first thing I do is notify the officer(s) at work of what I am carrying with me. Even if they did not intend to search my vehicle, I do make the officers aware of what (rather harmless, but realistic looking) playtoys I'm transporting with me in my vehicle. Never had any issues so far. All I've noticed so far is how many officers train with these replicas. :') Point being: airsoft could be done in Identity. But do not allow people to carry these replicas in public, as common sense would dictate. So the reason that "it would be confusing" is a big load of crap if you at least did some effort towards making it work in your game. And with "effort" I mean, brainstorming a quick 10 minutes and set out the ground rules and boundaries. Or be lazy and copy my method? EDIT: this is mine:
  13. Identity Insider #3 - Gangs and Warfare

Page not found. Good job. Great, it works after pressing CTRL+F5. *rolls eyes*
  14. Tracker makes no sense? Why is it Taking so long?

The fact that is has to take more than 11 days now to fix the tracker .... says enough about Asylum's professionalism. This takes ONE day at most if you put your guy on it. The site was finished months before it launched, yet it has so many issues I can't count them on both my hands. What is the issue? It's not like you need to order replacement parts from mainland China. No, you need to fix code. You can do that from home, and shouldn't take nearly two weeks. Whoever made the website, can come join classes with me. Perhaps he/she will learn how to manage errors properly, and most certainly at a decent pace. Don't make me open the source code and fix it for you. But I will ... if you'd pay me back the $250 (+2x $5) I invested in this development so far, I'd actually do something useful for you guys and fix the mess you cannot seem to get fixed. Asylum Entertainment and professional behavior are two terms you won't find near each other in the dictionary. EDIT: Still no dev blog as well btw. Says enough.
  15. Still Waiting..

I do agree threads like these are pointless, including this one. All it does is clutter the forums. If you have an opinion, why not just add it to one of the other countless similar threads? If it's a personal message to the devs, why not inbox them? But making an entire thread for it yourself, repeating what others have said before, is kinda absurd.
  16. OMFG

It says "2 days ago." for the last few days already. It should say at least "4 days ago." by now. Or even more. It used to be, that even if there was no update, the tracker on the old website used to track how long ago it was updated. On the new website however, it just stays there, dormant.
  17. If developers leave the company, there might be an issue there too. - They get offered a better job (shame on your company) - They lack trust in the project (shame on your company) - They've lost trust in the company (shame on ... you get the gist of it) - Reason 35B In any case, the MAIN issue which has always been linked to Asylum Entertainment, is the lack of communication. Sure, things picked up over the years, but doing a 70% ok job instead of 25% ok.... is still not ok. Aim for 100%! Dev blogs take longer an longer to appear, again! It doesn't take around 30 days, it takes 40! And if, excuse me, WHEN it's late, we get excuses in the likes of: "TS is close to release, not enough time to write the blog." Hahaha. That's a terrible excuse don't you think? Months ago? You've proven yourself wrong just by letting time go by. And even IF there indeed isn't enough time for John to write the blogs, in addition of running the company and doing programming as well ... it's not OUR fault you cannot do all these things before the month ends. Plan better? Work on it 10 minutes each day until you're happy with your final write-up? Work at it from home? Show you're motivated to get the module out on Steam, on top of keeping your "sponsors" happy? Put in even some extra overtime? And if you do, be transparent about it? Show us the motivation you have. But for now, even with BeachBall being an ACE CM, this company lacks a LOT of feels with its community. The same community who believes in the same game you guys, the devs and volunteers, do.
  18. Town Square Player Housing

Damn, right. I haven't been on the pledge page in so long. Now in any case, people who pledge $30 will get a studio they can try out in Town Square. The rest they can just see, undecorated. Unless someone else invites them into their home.
  19. Town Square Player Housing

It's just that in the full game, the people who pledged, will OWN that type of studio/apartment. In the full game, you will be able to rent (maybe even buy?) any apartment of any type you like and can afford, wherever on the island. You won't be able to own a house though, you can only rent those. So basically, pledging gives you a lot of living freedom. You won't have to pay rent to keep your property. You OWN it, right of the bat. So even if you pledge "only" $30, you get a studio, a.k.a. a roof above your head. That and access to the three modules and beta!
  20. Town Square Player Housing

    1) You for one for asking for a possibility of previewing, they're giving you one. But then you call it a tease. Odd behavior, but ok. 2) You will be able to rent / buy other property when playing the FULL game. No one is locking you up in your bachelor pad. So how can it be a tease, when you WILL be able to own any of those homes in the future? Albeit with some hard work and earning the proper in-cash for it.
  21. Town Square Player Housing

If you pledged for a basic studio, you will have that studio in Town Square. If you pledged bigger, you'll get that bigger apartment you pledged for, or penthouse. You WILL however be able to preview bare/naked versions of the other apartments, but of course you won't be able to decorate, as you don't own those. So yeah, you can go in and be your own realtor. Unless things changed again, this should be how will go down.
  22. Yes, there has been more detailed information handed out on the remaining tasks. Via Discord, via Twitch, and even on the forums here and there. You really ought to look around first, before making statements.
  23. Artwork or rendering of pledge items

Check the screenshot sub-forums. Concept art of the sports car is in there, as well as the dirt bike, used motorcycle and the rusted car.
  24. What is this shit

I would just like them to stop updating the tracker every day without any change. I understand they wish to let us know it's up to date ... but if nothing changes, without further comments on why, why bother? Just leave it be for a few days (weeks?) until Asylum actually makes actual and viable progress. It's frustrating to refresh that page (opened tab) ever single day (night, in my case) to see it's up to date, but unchanged. To see the same three (3) tasks stay unchanged for the last week (or so?) is frustrating ... and that's saying it in a friendly way. It may be larger tasks, it might be just the one or two people (who'll say, the devs don't ... or the community manager is kept out of the loop, or is not allowed to say) working on those lasts few tasks, but WE, the people, the community DO NOT know. We're being kept in the dark. A task tracker is big BS in this case. It's as transparent as a cubic of reinforced concrete is. Look, I "pledged" $250, and that was in 2017, I have nothing to say, apparently, but even I'm getting annoyed about the lack of communication. Sure, we have @Beach_Ballnow as community manager, and he answers random/standard questions, the questions any seasoned forum member could answer. But the "real" questions? We never get answer to those. And I see many of them pass by ... here on the forums, on Discord, and even on the useless live streams. Questions, REAL and concerning questions ... they stay unanswered. We might as well do without a community manager then. @LuckyDuck was doing just fine answering the questions in the same generic way BeachBall is now. It feels like I pledged $250 towards paid staff who doesn't add anything extra towards the community. I'm not casting a stone towards that person, in person, but I'm just stating you've added him to your staff ages ago now, yet he does not (or is not allowed to) do what he was intended for: communication. All we get is answers we've already heard or have been able to read on the forums or the FAQs. So either allow him (and inform him) to answers questions seriously, or just let it be. Keep us in the dark. Keep saying "soon" while the years slowly pass by, but don't waste my money on staff you restrict as devs, the way you've been doing so far. I'm not asking for a daily or weekly dev blog, but FFS, keep us in the loop. Whether we pledged $10 or $1000, which is a plegde/gift, but ffs, KEEP US IN THE LOOP. March 21st (your official date), April 23st ... then a tracker, which stopped updating recently ... be bloody honest and REAL. We're not all 14 year olds who've borrowed our parents credit cards ... but stay credible. And Asylum is losing its credibility. I believed, and somewhere deep inside I hope I still do. But this is getting ridiculous. The delays are one thing ... the lack of communication, REAL communication is another. We're this close *makes gesture with fingers*, yet I'm temped to ask for a refund. If the TS takes this much BS to create, I'm worried about the other modules, the beta, and the full game. I'm 32 now, and I wonder if I'll have grey hairs, or a grey beard by the time Identity comes out. I wouldn't know in any case, the lack of proper communication and all. ↑ The honest concerns of a genuine, patient pledger. ↑ Edit: typos and such.
