Hey, I recently posted this thread into another section of the forums (apparently, it was the wrong section), so I would love and to try to revisit this topic if we can. It's a really interesting idea that can allow for checks and balances. I'm not sure if this is on purpose or not, but it would make sense to have one. This state legislature here would have the responsibilities of making/producing laws, budgeting the state's budget, and approve nominations from the Governor's office. Not only would this make the game a lot more realistic and help with managing the budget, but this would help with parties getting/retaining their majority and help people get their political career started. Plus, like I stated up above, this branch would help with government oversight and transparency. Now, of course making a 200+ legislative branch isn't gonna work, so I propose that we cut the proportions down to a much better fitting size; about 11 representatives and 9 senators. Ergo, we can have about 3 senators per city (equal representation) and about ~3-4 representatives per city (based off of state population). In total, this would allow for a 20-member Congress. Now, rather or not these numbers are too small or to big is the debate. Me, personally? I feel as if these numbers are just about right. We don't want too many seats as elections wouldn't be competitive and we don't want too little seats as it would be really easy for a party to take control of everything: remember, a democracy functions best if all parties are represented. Anyways, this is just my two little cents. I am available to explain more in-depth of how this would happen/work, but I think it would be a really good idea to implement into this community. Thanks, - Kori

Wow... the whole thread and only one person recommended the Smith and Wesson M&P 9?! This is what I carried when on duty and it's leagues ahead of the Glock in my opinion (I briefly carried a Glock and hated it). On a side note most departments don't carry an exclusive handgun (like only Glocks). Most give Officers a chance to pick what they'd like to carry from an approved list. The new 2.0 is amazing. I wish I could afford another handgun.

The elected government can set the default values of the signs like this around the world. They can be hacked, but it'll affect only that one sign for some minutes. I fully expect some less-than-pure messages to show up. I think we all know what is going to happen with graffiti, too!

In game camera stuff and that will make lower performance for players and so that is why third party software is required for such things like recording or live streaming for Television.

I've already been aware that advertisement signs can be hacked, but I'd be curious as to what other citizens would put.

Gmod had that simple camera system, i rememeber using it when i was working on cinematic things, pretty sure that with a bit of coding they could recreate the same thing, even tho it would be more complex i can't denie that, but i clearly think that's doable, my boi@Mikusiodaktyl got a good idea right there ! Submit it here mate ! https://www.identityrpg.com/community/forum/17-ideas-suggestions/

I'm just looking for a immersive and realistic experience. To get this, I'd probably spend maybe some time on the official servers and then as communities develop look into a good community. The main thing I want is just realism. Having petty theft, shoplifting, traffic stops, domestic violence, etc. Just you can find these calls very fun with a proper investigation and criminal justice system. Knowing that you will have to write a report and may have to go to court, but not all the time, depending on your investigation and report written. And then knowing this is stuff law enforcement officers deal with very often, which is a profession I want to get into, allows me to experience a tiny bit through a video game. What I love about the game right now, is the fact that there is 99% players, with the exception of some mechanics. And hopefully, the opportunity to have 200-300 players per server. Being able to interact with so much people, all people who are taking their RP seriously, will a really good immersive experience for all roles within the server. And make all roles so much better, as we all depend on each other for RP. Anyways, hope to see you out there!

Wow. I've been following this game since the very FIRST announcement many years ago. I've been a member on this forum quietly watching for over two years now, and I feel like I should speak up and say something. There are a TON of people running around here being far too critical, making wild assumptions, and being incredibly unreasonable/entitled. This game has been in development for a few years. They have a "working" game that you probably have seen videos/screenshots from. Just because they are releasing the Town Square as a standalone module doesn't mean they aren't far along with the development. Take a look at Star Citizen. They did exactly the same thing. They started development, began crowd funding, and released a small taste module of the game. Why? Because they wanted people to be able to get a feel for the game and explore a little. That's what these devs are doing. They're not releasing the module because "that's all they've done" or because "development just started". You, nor I have actually gone into the studio and looked at what's been made so far. Then why are you making assumptions? These guys are a new development team but not new to developing. Some of these Early Access Alpha titles that come out never end up being finished because they're created by a team that's never developed anything and don't have the drive or determination to see it through. I have no reason to believe these devs won't follow through with their promises/goals. I read another thread that was complaining about the slow development time, the delays, etc. One person actually complained that the devs didn't get the Steam store page up and running by the end of October as they had planned. The problem was they submitted the information and Steam had to approve it which takes time. So it launched a few days later and this person complains. Really? How about giving these a break. They're working hard, putting content out (streams, videos, etc), and clearly are on track with their goal. Will it be a couple years before the whole thing is fleshed out? Sure. Are we getting tastes of the game in parts and sections? Yes. For a reason. Seems to me that people need to relax and sit back and wait to see what happens. I don't think the devs have given anyone here a reason to be concerned. If you're that hugely concerned over the process, ask for a refund and come back later when more of it is released. You coming here complaining, or challenging them isn't going to make anything better. I promise you.

You cannot record in game nor have cameras which record or show live on the TV's from in game. you must use third party software to record and stream to YT or Twitch. You can search up peoples streams and videos on YT on the in game TV.
