Car Physics

Recommended Posts

I have heard that it would be possible to customise cars in a similar way to gta? Is this true? Anyway, what I think would be awesome, is if the car physics are similar to BMG Drive physics, if anyone has ever heard of the game that is. What I'm trying to say is, I think it would be awesome if the cars had super realistic physics when it comes to movement and collisions etc!

Kind Regards - TOMA

Can't comment on physics, but I know that the customisation of vehicles is possible; both interior and exterior.

There was a twitter post saying that cars will handle realistically and another post about car wrecks trying to be realistic but that they'll have to limit it a bit because if there's too much damage it'll be a lot of net packets. (I think)

Leave it to @Vix , she'll post the twitter links.

I wanted to add something I was told by motown, Car damage will be client side because of the packets they need for other assets in the game world, so every player will see the damage differently.

That is gonna be strange... I mean, if the physics are gonna be like gta, the cars will be pretty crappy, but we wil soon find out I guess.

I doubt the physics will be like GTA as even though the games seem similar they really won't be
