    Yeah, I'd like to quote that. I heard that they only started filming a few days ago. Don't get me wrong, really enjoyed the video, and there could be a few more improvements in place. I'm also wondering why it took so long apart from animations and such.

    And you're probably disappointed because it's not an actual trailer. It's an early gameplay trailer. Perhaps a bit too early.

    Agreed. I've had to experience that in Garry's Mod.. while my family was in the room. That's when I decided to never return to Gmod again.

    Hello, we are Identity Life! We are planning on launching as an official community server, on full release, whose aim is to bring realism and roleplay together as one. Welcome aboard, and we hope to see you all in Identity.

    At the current moment, we do not have a website. Our Discord server and plans for our official community Identity server are still in a Work in Progress phase.     Perhaps. Mostly likely. Since they're able to rehire a few previous developers development should be much faster.

    8.If you add a lot of jobs then the players will never bored.

    9.It would be great if every admin could customize his own server that he wants.

    10.If players could go for shopping (clothes,super markets) and have the possibility to put the food that they bought in the refrigerator,and the clothes in closet.

    11.Everything in the house and in the city be accessible.

    12.add parliament for the members of parliament.

    13.add traffic lights,and all the signs from road traffic rules.level crossings,

    14.Mayor have the possibility to choose the laws that he wants.

    15.it would be great if players could contact to other players using their phones in game,and calling 911,pizza delivery,bank,clothing store,super markets,and more shops.

    16.Every business should choose their contact phone number,etc i setting up a pizza shop and i choose 2345 number for my shop and every player can call this number and order pizzas or drinks in game and one of my employees pick up the phone and service you,so every business need phones and contact numbers.

    17.Taxes for everyone by mayor. Etc public power corporation its a elecric power company,if player using all the lights in his house for many hours the bill will  be increased,and for the water is Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company,if you consumpting a lot of water the bill will be increased per month(mayor choose,these companies if someone wants to buy them he can do it and add employees(players) in them. 

    18.Add garbage job,and garbage workers clean the streets and the city,and people have the possibility to put their garbage in trash cans and garbage collector put the trash in the garbage truck collection and do the same think for every house like the postman.

    19.If the citizen wants to buy a vehicle before buy it he should go to the police to report that and the highest police officer give him the license plate,registration,insurance,then the officer should put the ciziten information at the police computer like name,surname,vehicle color,vehicle company,license plate,insurance,registration,born age,all these informations should be in the list of the police,and every citizen must have different license plate.If the citizen not reporting that he bought a vehicle to the police,then if police check be on him he will have a big problem....

    20 .If the civilian wants to buy,rent,create a shop or house he should report that to the police,and the highest police officer will add in the police computer that name surename bought a house at etc st.luis.Police should know all these info like in real life.

    21.There should be a list with the all names of civilians and informations of them in the police computers,etc running on the computer the license plate 'LFYF45' Owner of the Vehicle:Alex Martin, Insurance:Yes/no, Registation Expired/Valid, Any Warrants:None,and more,if the officer run the name of citizen then it should be something like this: Phone Number 743535,address: st.luis,Nationality:American, Insurance:Yes/no, Registation Expired/Valid, Any Warrants:None,Job:employee at BSB(Clothing store)

    1. Confirmed. I'm aware that players can become transporters and deliver items to players that have bought online in-game items.

    3. Confirmed. You can rent off of other people's homes if you're given the ability to. This does not have to do with room-mating (even though you're able to do that too). 

    7. If you create your own business you'll be able to buyout a shop and setup your store/business. 

    9. If an admin owns a server they're given the ability to change almost any system related function. I'm not sure if they're able to change specific parts of the map itself.

    10. Confirmed, you may store food in refrigerators etc to avoid the food getting spoiled/rotten/ruined.

    15. This is also confirmed. You'll be able to contact other players/friends that you have in your contacts, and you're also able to contact the police when there is an emergency. You'll also be able to contact specific businesses. As long  as that specific business has a business number then you may call that business up over your smartphone.

    17. Partially confirmed? Players will have to pay taxes for their homes etc. I'm not sure if that goes into electricity etc. You can ask the devs when they stream on their Twitch account (www.twitch.tv/identityrpg)

    21. I believe this is going to be a function in-game. When players make a purchase of any vehicle in Identity their car is automatically given a license plate. I'm getting these license plates are going to have some sort of "Police/Security" related function in game.

    22. This is also confirmed. There will be a stamina, thirst, and hunger bar within the game of identity. 

    23. Confirmed. After full release of the game they're going to add a GYM system within the game (working out etc). There are also going to be different sports in such in Identity (Soccer, Tennis, Football, etc). Sports is going to be one of the main/fun branches of Identity.

    24. You may get married in Identity (Opposite and Same-Sex marriage). As for families that depends if you invite someone to your family or RP it, because you're character does not have the ability to have sex in-game. Due to YouTube and Twitch's streaming policy any nudity or sex shown live or in video could result in many account strikings, that could also given identity a terrible reputation in the Twitch and YouTube realm. And for aging that is something that is not going to be integrated into identity. You may customize your character as you wish, young adult, middle aged or old.

    Yes. They've mentioned in a few of their development streams that the player count is most definitely going to fit a few hundred. What they don't want is having thousands of players in one server in one specific location. Let's say there is a very famous YouTuber/Streamer that's currently playing the game and thousands of players join the server just to meet them. It would just be chaotic and immersive. Basically they want to prevent all the players visiting the exact same location at the exact same time. Example: Many (thousands) of players in WoW meet up in the exact same location just for trading and sparring. If that makes sense?

    The 300 player count is most likely going to be their minimum. But they're most likely going to go over their minimum. The player count is still being discussed by their development team.

    They're at around 95% done with the Town Square module. They're currently finishing up the Art Gallery and polishing things up.

    Games always get pushed. If we want the perfect product then we're just going to have to wait. Games usually take years to make. For example, it takes more than five years for a GTA game to be developed and people somehow wait through that. We just have to treat this wait time with respect and be patient.

    Hello Identians!

    Not sure if everyone's noticed but the Identity Developers have been updating there statistics very often. And when I say often I mean "Every... Single... Day." That means you'll be able to check the website every single day seeing how many more players (and pledges they're earning) are signing up to play Identity. 

     

    A lot of new changes are coming to Identity. Such as their NEW UPCOMING website launch. Keep your fingers crossed, we've got a lot coming our way!

    How will the developers go about freedom of speech in this game? And by that I mean will there be limits to what you're allowed to openly say and share?
    Because from my view, this game seeks to replicate the functions of a real society (Government, jobs, ) so everyone will make friends (Or at least acquaintances) and quite possibly surround themselves with like minded people.

    I guess what I'm truly saying is, will Identity have a predetermined set of rules by the developers for the private servers/public to follow? Then from there can make their own laws and policies from it? 

    I'm just curious to see if they'll just let the players decide their own rules and only intervene if it does get too serious.

    And to my understanding, the developers are located in Canada, so will Canada's laws and policies affect the game's outcome? 

    I hope I managed to get my questions across clearly, and I know this entire thing might sound stupid but please don't attack me, educate. :) 

    If you own your own server on Identity then you're able to change whatever you want. I believe the mayor is able to change laws/policies and such. For instance, like legalizing Marijuana. I'm a little clueless on what different laws/policies as I don't take part into the political side of the game... But I'm most definitely aware that you're able to change laws/policies as the mayor/governor. I hope this is the answer that you were looking for. :)

    For one, I can already predict that I'll be throwing a few social gatherings and parties in my residential spaces. There's only one question, is there a capacity/limit to how many users/players can fit inside of one other's home? This isn't relevant to room-mating, this is relevant to guests visiting your home. Just curious :) It would be awesome if someone could answer my question.

    I was speaking behalf of the full game release, not the first module. The Town Square phase won't release for probably another couple of months. They mentioned that most of TS is complete but they are currently polishing things out and working on the Art Gallery.  We probably won't expect a product until around July - August. We're mostly likely going to receive a video before then.

    Personally I purchased the Up-sized package ($150). A little boost seems quite important to me, but I mostly donated the money to the development of the game. I want to contribute to this project as much as possible. I've been waiting, and a lot of others, have been wanting for a game like this for a VERY long time.  Can't wait for the finalized product (2018 - Roughly Q3 or Q4?).
