Experienced Store Owner My experience as a pawnbroker is reflected by my real-world experience of managing an actual pawn shop. This should assure my future customers the fairest prices based off a "fair-market value". In other words, all products, goods, services sold in my shop have been checked against the rest of the market to assure everyone is getting a great and fair deal. Police EMT Firefighter Discounts and Services All police, paramedics, and firefighters will receive discounts and donations of goods as a personal thanks for their service to the community. Police will also have our full cooperation in identifying criminals and returning stolen goods to their legal owner. Current Job openings Our current open positions are as follows: Wholesalers: People looking to sell goods in bulk. Why waste all your precious time standing in a shop selling your goods to the public when you can just be doing the things you love. Let us sell your goods for you. Any attempt to solicit illegal products will result in your capture and/or arrest as well as a permanent ban from ALL GCP stores. Any interested parties should contact me either here, or via PM. Maybe do some research before lying about your credtentials in a futile attempt to debate someone on the internet in an area of discussion you obviously know nothing about. Edit: It is also legal as well. Or do you not teach laws and business ethics in government and social studies?

You couldn't be more incorrect in the matter. Regardless of your obvious lack of economic comprehension, you are only doing your own business harm by rejecting the support of the FMMB. Past presidents have own businesses, the senators that pass bills have investments in businesses, some they own. Your choice to not support our foundation is irrelevant to our cause. In the event that you find yourself not gaining any consumer base for your unrated goods and services, perhaps you will be more willing to realistically look at your approach to business.
  4. Gold Coin Pawn

In the real world this happens all the time. Do you honestly believe that the same people working in governments aren't also affiliated with businesses? We will need no legal representation because we will not be breaking government regulations or laws.
  5. Gold Coin Pawn

If anything we would be leading by example. Not everyone else is as uninformed in areas of governmental regulations, so no, they probably do not agree with you. The FMMB is a NON-PROFIT organization. That means no one pays for it's services, it is entirely free. That being said, I will not take away methods of making money from myself just because I'm also running a regulatory foundation. In no way, shape, or form, would it even be possible for me to not follow my own policies, seeing as how I'm aiming to maintain a fair and balanced economy. In the event that I don't need a secondary income producing business, then perhaps Gold Coin Pawn may be shut down. However it would be rather unfair of you and anyone else to take advantage of my foundations free services and then complain about my entirely legal and fair market enterprise for gaining a source of income. I do not plan on being broke all the time because you are unsure of how governmental regulation works. I have to follow the laws and regulations set forth by the government just like anyone else; and, at this junction in time the FMMB has more of my focus and attention than GCP. Plenty of regulatory departments also own business. The Bush family have been in politics from CIA head director, to President of the United States, they are also oil moguls. To not follow my own polices would be asking for the community at large to come for my neck. I'd like to believe I'm intelligent enough of an individual to know better than to step on the very thing I am actively fighting for.

We will never seek governmental office, but will constantly seek governmental backing in our policies. This means while we seek to have our policies enforced, in the event we acquire government backing, it would ultimately be up to the current government the legal extent of our foundation. Because the current model of in-game economy has not been disclosed, nor has anyone had time to understand the processes involved in obtaining value, we are not setting any policies in stone and will most likely re-evaluate our current model after some much needed data has been acquired about the markets. Once this has been achieved we can more directly answer your questions about workable business models. We only seek to keep the economy balanced, stable, and growing. We understand the concern about corruption in the offices, but ultimately, in the event we acquire governmental backing in our policies, it would lie in the hands of the government to determine the legal extent of our foundation and/or any of our policies they would want to review. The quality of craftsmanship is accounted for in the process of determining the cost of production. If you are creating superiorly crafted goods, you will be allocated a fair price increase as permitted. as I will continue to to explain to all merchants, we are not here to force you to earn less money. We are here to maximize the amount of capital you make while still retaining high numbers of consumers for your goods. Our current business model is a GUIDE for us to establish a common means of determining fair market value in a fluctuating liquid market. We will be working with businesses on a PER BUSINESS model, meaning we will determine fair market price ranges for each business independently. What one merchant is selling his couches for maybe be fairly marketed at a higher price than what another couch merchants fair price would be considered. Every step of the merchants creation process, starting with concept of idea, is taken into account when we are determining your fair price range. I implore all merchants to consider endorsing our Foundation for their own benefit. Mr. Crowley; President of Fair Market Merchant Bureau

Also at this junction in time the 300% MoP we allow is just a placeholder until things launch off and we can really see the effects of our allocation of profit. Again, we will be working with any merchants on a personal per company basis to figure the best course of action to benefit the entire economy, and not just the filthy rich.
  8. The Neighborhood - Recruiting!

EVERY government that isn't some form of authoritarian leadership has economic regulations set place for the best interest of a growing economy. Not just to keep merchants filthy rich. It allows for a massive separation between economic classes. In a "free-market" (such as the one the united states uses) there is still regulation to ascertain a growing economy; Our foundation only seeks to give merchants a price range for their goods, to keep prices low and affordable while still giving room for merchant profitability. Why would we limit your inventory? We encourage merchant growth to maintain a booming economy. Our corporation is not here to tell merchants what to do and how to do it. Our foundation is here to benefit everyone and keep the economy growing for everyone. Every single first world nation and super power on this planet has regulatory offices for the economy and then some. The countries that do not have regulatory powers are often dictatorships and other forms of authoritarian leadership. I cannot understand where you have gained this notion that our foundation seeks to limit the potential of your inventory or work. Once more, we ENCOURAGE merchants to bring as many goods and services to the table as they possibly can. Our goal has always been, and will continue to be, to ensure affordable prices for the consumers and reasonable profit margins for merchants. The 300% profit margin is reasonable, given the following example: Merchant A has expenditures of $100 from start to finish to make a couch. Under no circumstances should they be selling that same couch for 50 grand ($50,000). This destabilizes economies and separates the economic classes into that of poverty and that of upper class.
  9. The Neighborhood - Recruiting!

We believe that unregulated "free" markets, as you determine it, often leads to corrupt monopolized companys gone extortionists. Our model, done on a per company basis, sets a defineable prize zone in which would be considered fair for the consumer and profitable for the merchant; At a booming maximum of a 300% profit margin. If no regulation is set place you will witness radical split between upper class and middle class, leading to unaffordable markets for the middle class and eliminating them to poverty level entirely. With no middle class consumer base, merchants will have difficulty selling their goods and services at all. Rest assured the FMMB is in the best interest of both the consumer and the merchant, for a stable and growing economy.

We certainly appreciate your support. If you have any questions pertaining to our foundation do not hesitate to send me a direct message. We will be getting in contact with you soon to mesh out some finer details and get your political platform added to our registrar's books.
  11. What will you RP in identity?

Im planning or starting a bureau for legal market franchises. We are going to be working with keeping criminals out of legal trade, as well as making sure consumers have fair prices and merchants have fair profits. Anyone interested in adding their business can pm me directly.
  12. The Neighborhood - Recruiting!

We dont need to use physical force. If you are charging more for your legal good and services than what the Bureau regulates is fair, there will be another business selling the same goods that we are already affiliated with that are selling them for a fair price. People will know they are selling them for a fair price because we have professionally checked their prices against the fair market using our business model. In short, if you have higher price than what is rightfully fair, we will find someone else to sell it for a cheaper, fairer price; And provide a place for consumers to know where the best deals are at. If you are unconcerned with the influential power of liquid markets, then by all means continue to manipulate your prices above what is fair. Perhaps you are even totally correct, and our corporation will fail in its endeavors to stabilize a healthy economy for everyone, however we will retain the belief that consumers have the right to affordable fair prices with a reasonable margin of profit for the merchant.

Allow me to explain affiliations with known criminal organizations. This would include offering core services to criminal organizations(like helping them transport felons, illegal goods), using your business to launder money gained from illegal goods or services. We will not shut down your food store for selling food to a felon, but we will shut down your food store for storing illegal merchandise, or selling illegal merchandise. Of course, just like any other regulatory institution we would be required to amass irrefutable proof of illegal operations before pursuing any legal actions against any particular business.
  14. The Neighborhood - Recruiting!

Do you honestly believe your entire consumer base are going to be criminals? Do you think people are going to feel safe attempting to purchase their goods from companies that fund the same criminals that are "popping you in the face for looking at them funny"? The only authority our Bureau requires to operate is the requirement from the public consumers for fair prices. Something that will always be there. The FMMB will not be intimidated by rag-tag, would-be thugs that seek to gain economic and financial superiority through illegal and manipulative ways. As long as your organization also seeks a fair and balanced legal market, then I am more than certain our polices can coincide peacefully. Our means of disrupting income flow and resource gain is Trade Secret and part of what makes the FMMB what it is. We will gladly inform you, however, that our foundation is actively seeking governmental backing to enforce our policies, and is currently working hand in hand with few businesses and political platforms to assure everyone is making a profit and retaining fair, affordable prices. We do not require corrupt politicians, as our policies are not corrupt in nature. It is only the corrupt that would be resistant of fair regulation for the consumer.
  15. The Neighborhood - Recruiting!

Please forgive any misunderstandings. Our Bureau is a Fair and Cooperative organization that seeks the betterment of all merchants and consumers. We merely wish to set example and reminder that criminal activity and affiliation will not be tolerated. We hope to see you on the legal side of markets.
  16. The Neighborhood - Recruiting!

You're funny. Bring it on. Conglomeration is well within the legal policies of the FMMB. However, Conglomerations that are dealing with illicit or illegal goods and services are not within legal bounds of protection. I.E. If your legal store selling legal goods is proven to be laundering money, assisting crime syndicates, dealing on black market, then you will be subject to the full legal consequences of your illegal affiliations.

Would your political platform give Governmental support to the Fair Market Merchants Bureau to insure a more stable and fairly balanced economy? You can view our business model in the link on my Sig.

All of our Fair Market Value estimates are done on a per company basis, we will work to the best of our abilities to suit both the needs of the customer as well as the needs of the merchant to find a well balanced middle ground. Your skill/labor is accounted into production cost. Therefore, if your skill shows to be of higher craftsmanship then you will be allotted more room for higher prices. We will be working more closely with the merchants than the consumers, but our goal will always be to find a working middle ground to satisfy both parties involved on either end of trade.

In order to charge a high price for a item it must be crafted of superior materials. If you want to sell items that are high in price, sell items crafted with rare resources. The availability of the resources your items are crafted from is factored in when we are determining your personal cost of production.
  21. Fair Market Merchant Bureau

Feel free to send me a PM regarding your campaigns name and platform. The FMMB is more than willing to work with any and all legitimate businesses, corporations, and government facilities.
  22. Fair Market Merchant Bureau

To a degree. The objective of FMMB is to assure the merchants aren't charging more than fair prices to their customers. Not everyone will be a merchant and not everyone will be able to afford extorted prices. We intend to act to make sure the prices are fair for both the merchant to make a generous profit without stepping on the consumers right to a fair market price.
  23. Fair Market Merchant Bureau

It has everything to do with the economy, which is very much a political topic. But please, by all means, someone place this where it must go.
  24. Fair Market Merchant Bureau

Business Model This is the model we will be using to keep merchants making satisfying profits while keeping prices manageable for the consumers. First Step: Determine the Cost of Production from raw element to finished product. We consider the following when determining this cost: Resource Availability Required Skills or Tools to Harvest Raw Materials Cost of Refining Raw Materials Average Market Price of Raw Materials and Finished Product Second Step: Determine the Cost of Overhead We consider the following when determining this cost: Employee costs Upkeep and Maintenance Shop and Infrastructure Costs Third Step: Determine Your Margin of Profit We use the following algorithm to determine your MoP Gross Income From Final Product - (Cost of Production + Cost of Overhead) = Margin of Profit Determining Your Products Fair Market Value(FMV) We use the following algorithm to GUIDE us to determine your products Fair Market Value (Cost of Production + Cost of Overhead) * 4 = Fair Market Value Disclaimer: At this junction in time we have chosen to allow the merchants a comfortable 4 times MoP so they can amass the fortunes they need and the prices can remain low relative to the cost of creating them. This allocated Fair Market Price is subject to change dependent on new laws and economic morals. The Fair Market Merchant Bureau will always continue to seek the best balanced solutions for great merchant profits as well as low customer prices.

Hello, This is Mr. Crowley with the Fair Market Merchant's Bureau. This is an open letter to the organizer(s) of "The Neighborhood". The FMMB will NOT tolerate crime syndicates manipulating ANY legal financial market. I implore you to seek legal means of merchant status and immediately cease any and all illegal activities associated with a legal market business. Failure to comply with this request may result in the downgrade of your FMMB rating and/or the termination of your legal market business per the current governing body. Thank you for your time and we hope to see you reconsider your path of illicit activities and join the legal side of fair marketing. -Mr. Crowley President of Fair Market Merchant Bureau
