Everyone gets a studio to check out but not customize. Only if you paid for an apartment will you be able to customize it and keep it.

Yes, it is a bug and the devs are working it out. They have it worked as far as getting everyone the apartment they pledged but the bug/glitch keeps giving users the studio apartment. Use this Studio apartment as a way to get ideas for when the bug is fixed, that way it wont seem like a waste of time decoration, and it gives you more to do.

Yeah the black fat back TV can be placed on stuff. But the curved TV has always been a problem

That's INSANE. My recommendation and also to test if it happens again, an since the updates from today were pointless to a point: In common folder, delete Identity Town Square, make sure its uninstalled in steam then re-download it -- Fresh, that might correct the file size issue. All-in-all it's hard to pin-point what causes issues like that.

At the moment I don't think you can in the gallery. You can hang them on your walls in your apartment. However, I believe you can go to the counter and submit paintings. I'm not sure if it's functional though.

I'm not too sure that will do anything...looking that those files combined is only about 12.5MB Looking at the "Identity Town Square" folder in steamapps - common is only 15.7GB

The modules will be about a year apart from each other with more things being implemented into the Town Square as time goes. You'll have plenty of time to think about getting the game before the beta and actual game releases. If you purchase the 30$ Founder pack, that will give you access to all 3 modules, beta game play, and game release, so you won't need to purchase anything else if you want.

Well it is a “Social Module” so it’s expected there won’t be much to do. I think I have just under 30 hours. I think people expected too much out of something that was going to lack content for the time being until they can get stability fixes and start introducing new things.
