Are dev blogs will continue? Im curious how devs will communicate with us? Any chance of clear road map what is going to be added with updates?

Heard dev blogs are deleted so I'm assuming that way of steady information flow is gone? No more streams? Which official channel of asylum will deliver all information about further development and plans?

I don't have any words on what's going to be upcoming next. As for the dev blogs, we fixed the issue and are here: https://www.identityrpg.com/community/forum/6-dev-blog/

  2. For the most part, there's a few programmers on it, and the art side of thing is ahead. As I said, we're focusing on fixing those bugs, which requires programmers for most of it. I don't have any exact numbers though.

  3. The main focus is to fix the ongoing bugs and issues related to Town Square. Then we'll start adding new content like the shooting range, phone UI, more building interiors. From what I know, some of the art of SWAT module is done, but I don't have much information regarding that module. I know there will be a bank heist map for sure. We don't have any ETA for when it'll release unfortunately.

This game will be taken down from steam within month, Motown (one of founders) already run away, lucky duck (one of first mods on this forum if not first) left, first community manager (dont remember his name) left too, they will be gone until new year.

Motown left because he moved to the US to explore other paths. He loved his job but it was stressful. He was in the art side which is already ahead at the moment so it shouldn't affect development. I have to admit that his departure really shocked me. But I know he's a great guy and he's still around in the Discord, and will always support Identity.

Lucky Duck is just taking a break to deal with real life. He's still around as a moderator but won't do moderation.

Beach_Ball left on good terms and didn't renew his contract. We still don't know if he'll come back. At the moment, Olio and HairyGrenade is taking the Community Manager position.

And you don't find it weird he just leaves 4 days after a fucking awful launch and the dev blogs are being deleted?

He didn't leave after launch, he left before but didn't announce it publicly then. He wasn't expecting the launch to be rough though.

As for myself, I've only recently joined the moderator team (11th of November 2018 to be exact). But since I've joined this community, I've always been on Asylum's side, regardless of all the drawbacks and unforeseen issues. I'd be lying if there wasn't a moment I've been upset. In fact, there's a few things that left me with mixed feelings, but I just learned to live with it and move on. Reason why I still support this project is because I know the team is dedicated, despite the mistakes (which happens). I know some of the developers work overtime even during weekend in order to fix those issues as soon as possible.

  5. Usually we ban people for a good reason, either after multiple warnings/kick. If you were part of the people mass spamming the chat on the day of release, then that might be the reason why. I already linked how to ban appeal in another thread.

As for what's going on with servers, servers were fine, but there was connection issues. Please refer to this thread to see the hotfix (#2 isn't out yet but is upcoming):

  6. Mistakes were done, and we all apologize because it took more time than it should, and we know the launch was very rough. But we all actively try to make it better. I just don't understand why some people come and just say it's a total "scam" or trash talk the game. There's a lot of bugs yes, but at least we don't intentionally try to leave it that way. Even Motown (who left to explore other paths) wasn't expecting the launch to be that chaotic.

But I just want to say we work hard, and the developers work overtime even during weekend. I don't say that because of information being passed on, I say that because I know they do. And I've spent 12 hours nearly straight for moderating the Discord during launch day (of course I took a few breaks).

I honestly can't say i'm surprised. 4 years. 4. years. They have no excuse.

I was banned from their discord for no reason.

I don't know how to request a refund, but I want one.

If you think you've been unfairly banned, please make a ban appeal here: https://www.identityrpg.com/community/forum/33-support-center/

If you want to make a refund, please do it through Paypal or Steam, depending where you purchased the product. Unfortunately, we don't manually offer refunds anymore through the account support.

    Locked.

I have Payed for these Game 3 years ago now where is may key??

If you have ordered the $30 package or higher, you should have the beta access item. Then as explained above, you should link your Steam account onto your website account, and you'll get a Steam key to activate on your Steam.

  9. For me, the game crash (fatal error). I think there's still some issues with the connection to the servers. It would be nice to see the status of servers to be honest, but that might be less priority than fixing issues.

  10. I understand that the release was very rough and a lot of users got upset. But we're all humans working on this project. Imagine me trying to deal for 12 hours with the large amount of new people coming in the Discord server, along with other moderators and community managers. We're working hard to get the crashes and other issues resolved. Right now, the build is more stable than it was at launch. Sure, it was slow to wait for those updates, especially when the servers were closed for the most part of the day after, but at least we're still dedicated and working on this project.
