I'm not sure on being able to build an engine piece by piece, but if that were to become a thing, I'd believe it would be for Mechanics. I'd also see it being able to fit for civilians as well as you don't have to be a mechanic in real life to build an engine.

    Hope this helps.

  2. I remember asking this a while ago, I was curious to see if they were thinking of adding like trash piles and litter; but I believe the general consensus was "No". If they did add such a thing, certainly would add to the game even if in a minor capacity, but it's isn't a necessity big enough for them to include it in the game... unless they've very recently changed their minds about the subject. Sorry! I like your idea though.

  3. There is more than one city on the map; it's an island after all. I would say it's almost guaranteed that there will be interstates in game. How the laws and such apply to this however, I suspect will be server based.

  4. If they let us use youtube in the cinema (not like I would expect it) that could MAYBE appease the people; not like I see this being an issue. Another thing to note is that there are some decent ameteur short films on YT. Or just give us access to a full browser and let us stream it ourselves xD

It is like GTA you buy the game to play the game and so not free to play. "Free2Play" is when you pay nothing to download the game and play it.

Lol this is what happens when you go inactive you forget to check your notifications! Anyways if its still relevant, technically its Buy to play; that's the term I was looking for.

Yes guys, You can have pets. They won't be able to be outside of your house/apartment st launch but they have said that they'll work on making that a possibility after launch.

    Thank you kindly <3

  8. Regardless I plan to lead by example. If a kid legitimately is running around and trying to role-play but not doing so well or breaking immersion/acting ridiculous, I'll privately message them (if possible) and explain to them the kind of game Identity is and how to approach interaction with people or behave in a social environment like that. In short, depending on the situation, I'm going to try to do right by them and help them along if I can; simply reporting them if they RDM or break any rules after warning them politely myself and advising a different course of action.

  9. Although I love that players are creating DIscord groups for certain things to discuss identity and generally hang around, I fear that all we'll get by joining this one is hearing about how to "...arrest anyone you see and kill them and/or dump them in the woods"

  10. Future Customers & Players of Identity!

As an employee of CORE Transport, I've taken it upon myself to interact more with our future, possible consumer base to see what we can do to improve our business to suit your convenience; as well as to keep in contact with players on the Forum.

How often do you think you'll use our bus lines? (coach/inner city)

I agree. Reason being is as it is a role-play orientated game, there will be plenty of inappropriate content being committed by other players. Language is one of them, some topics around certain people may be derogatory, "dark", or toxic in general and isn't really appropriate for younger audiences. While this may not seem like much of anything to a lot of players, with reasons such as "It's the internet" and "It happens all the time, I know some that take part in it", it doesn't excuse that we should enable them to do so.

Plus there is always the potential for certain criminal-orientated role-play to turn a dark corner, such as triads trying to play the "realistic" role of chopping people up and/or brutally torturing people. Plus the opportunity to purchase, use and sell drugs in a role-play and gameplay fashion; and while it doesn't bother me simply because I'm an adult whose experienced a lot of these kinds of role-play, it shouldn't be around youth.

So an age rating of that is more than fair in my opinion, even though it'll probably do very little to prevent youth from actually playing; at least it shows that the devs don't support youth playing it.

That's a great idea. Honestly, I would love to attend these classes, maybe not so much the basic "How-To" tutorials when it comes to learning about role-play but other things, in-character and such. If you decide to go that route still on the (official) server I certainly would attend, I like the sounds of that sort of atmosphere and would like to give it a try!

Im talking about in game ever couple hours everything despawns like in arma life and gets reset but all the user's stuff stays

That's a good question, it's hard to say; I guess it all really depends on what sort of interactive environment the developers put in-place and allow us to do. I have a feeling they may do it like other MMO's an only refresh the (official) servers whenever they start to seriously bog down and cause issues. As long as players don't have the ability to spawn stuff in the world space such as props and such, I don't think it'll be as necessary as one would think; but who knows?

  14. I understand where you're coming from, in a serious roleplay environment on a developed character, if you were to get shot or died in some way, having that player come back, simply forgetting the last few minutes prior and during the incident ruins RP when that character sees or interacts with people who knew him and knew what happened to him. In Garry's Mod, not sure if it's the same elsewhere, it's usually referred to as the "New Life Rule" but it can be really awkward trying to play it off as if it doesn't happen, most who regard the killing will say it was just "some guy they knew" but at the end of the day all parties know who died and it can be a bit cringey for some.

I'm no fan of NLR, but in THIS game I would say that permanently ending characters would be a mistake. The amount of time it takes to earn money, respect etc. with other characters and in the environment around you is rather staggering; to have it ripped away from you by some thug or because of a mingey player would be a terrible thing and would only end up frusturating players, inevitably generating a great amount of hate to anyone who decides to go the route of a criminal, and driving away the playerbase. Now, this obviously doesn't include everyone, but I wouldn't want the devs to put it into the game because you're forgetting a crucial fact @Thecop34, this may be considered an RP MMO but it has MORE than one server, it will have official ones, but players are free to open up their own servers and configure the games mechanics to their liking; and a few may decide to allow the PK of players if they suffer a legitimate death.

As a side note, going off topic, I don't think anyone should take your posts seriously because of previous content you've posted clearly shows you intend to abuse any privileges given to you, such as the abilities granted to Law Enforcement and not to mention the sheer amount of disrespect you've shown players on the Forums for giving polite and sound answers to your questions that you've had. You're not doing you or your suggestions any justice, but I'll stop there as I don't want to be seen as a flamer.

    TL;DR

No, but I'm sure someone will eventually open up a server where it is allowed.

I agree with this. This helps get short ideas across that don't really warrant a whole topic or response. For instance, I would have just said "Yeah that's a good idea!" If @JoelKeys would have posted his idea about a shotbox, in the shoutbox. Of course then I would also say "Hey Joel, man, why did you post about how we should have a shoutbox, in the shoutbox, man? Isn't that a little, I don't know man, weird?" and that would have been the end of it as Joel realized what he had done. Instead, you have all read MY unnecessary post causing you to waste time. While I am very sorry for the inconvenience I do wish to point out that a shoutbox would fix this whole problem. TL:DR The shoutbox is a great idea.

    Nice xD

I agree with Ziggabot though, a shoutbox would be useful for stating short opinions about a post or even just for some good fun.
