death What Happens When You Die?

Im pretty sure im not the only person wonder this, but what happens when you die? Do you have to start over or does the game go on like nothing happened?

Yes, like it is said above. On official servers you will not have to start from the ground up again. You will respawn at your last bind location e.g. your house/ apartment and you will just carry on like nothing happened.

I think i saw someone saying that you dont have to start from 0 again. Im bretty sure it works like in Arma3 Altis Life.

@QsPhantom  You restart your life and get a new passport, that's only because they don't want this game to be like GTA where you just kill everyone, if you think about it, it's kind of like a punishment for those who choose to ruin the game.

Wait, so you literally restart completely, or you just respawn in house and pretend like nothing happened, lose anything you had on your person, that seems like the more reasonable thing. That would make the game way less fun honestly.

@Brennen No, see on Official Servers you die and like @LuckyDuck already said you respawn in your last bind location its a little bit like GTA. You dont loose everything on an Official Server. But on the other hand it could be on private servers that you die, and lose everything, but i dont think that many players would keep playing on an server like that because what happens when you get RDM you cant get your stuff back and that would be a sad story. 

 

So Dont be afraid of death in the game.

5. How will death be handled? 

   When a player dies, some items such as the money the player is carrying at that time, will be dropped on the ground and will become accessible to anyone in the area that wishes to take it. Clothing items will never be dropped. We have decided that a player’s character appearance in a social game like Identity is important. You will always look the way you decide your character to look.

   If the player is not resusitated by an EMT or teammate, the player is then prompted to respawn at the location of their last sync (house, apartment, city)

   Private servers have some control over what types of items players will drop on death, if any at all.
