Town Square Therapy Anonymous

Recommended Posts

First off, let's all calm down and take deep breaths. Now, tell me how you are all feeling and we can go through Town Square Therapy and create a shining future on this soil of a growing seed and sail the cosmos together with the earth as my vessel!1!  Sprout off memes because you can and cheer up from the humor! Then cast a massive heal overtime to stop Meteor!

Here we shall voice our dissatisfaction as people who paid for a product and have not yet recouperated because of a lack of refunds, but should the promised items not come to fruition what exactly is it that we want? Then we will post constructive criticism to help them fix all the bugs in the game like a plumber or construction worker with a hammer that can fix things!

Will you go on this spiritual adventure with me? Say yes fellow patients!

technically you never really paid for a product people technically gave money like a donation for the idea in the hope it would be completed and in return for your donation you would receive in game items etc. People think just because they gave money they was buying something when really people was donating money. As for refunds people should of knew the risks before giving money and if they did give money they should of been prepared to loose it.

The devs are now a company and they're liable for the products that are promised including the package that they had on their store to fund themselves for the project. It's a promissory note to pay back the loaners in the future. It might not be recuperated now but it can recuperated in the future if they continue to work on it instead of abandoning the idea and slapping the faces of people and leaving their investment out to dry that have supported them through this even after four years. Simply expecting the devs not to do anything to take responsibility ie. keep working on their game to fulfill what they set out to do and do it better after mishaps, is not going to motivate them to do what needs to be done and what can be accomplished with respect to reality and outside factors. It is expected to be risky to give money based on an idea, but the devs have clearly advertised promised items and an eventual game. Disappointment when that vision isn't actualized either in time or game is expected, but that vision can come true and be actualized through perseverance.

Not at all, ha. Kickstarter Terms of Use says that if the developer doesn't give a high amount of effort (no), communication (hard no) and openness with what the money is used for (maybe), they're subject to legal action by backers. Look up the terms of use of Kickstarter and scroll down to 4 for refrence.
