  1. Gangs

Hell's Angels is a motorcycle gang tho. We're talking about street gangs, there isn't a signature brand to wear, it's tattoos like MS-13. Every motorcycle gang has matching vest and jackets even today, it's a given. But this is Identity there's going to be mafias and gangs of all kinds with matching clothes and insane designs.
  2. Gangs

I understand what you're trying to say, but it's not that they dress like that on purpose, it's not a signature style they all are forced to wear. It's how they grew up in communities and their culture that led to that style, so back in the day when people seen them they considered that "gang clothes". If someone dressed like that it doesn't mean they in a gang. If you've watched documentaries they don't say, "the gang members wear this type clothing." They talk about the tattoos that represent the gang and what they've done to be known. I know this is true for 90% of people in this world, you are the average of all your close friends. Meaning you will dress alike, say the same slang, have the same the views. That being said notice the White, Asian, African-American, and Mexican communities around you, they're clearly different because they grew up differently for generations.
  3. Gangs

This all might come later after the game been released. There's already a system for selling/making drugs. No such thing as gang clothes because irl it's just colors and tattoos and that will be easy to make with the creating system in the game. The drive-by is a cool GTA feel, but it won't happen because of their combat system, and it helps prevent rdm which would be common in this type game. I think the devs talked about territory control a while back, but it was more gangs/mafia can control buildings, etc. Controlling streets and areas will be an RP thing, but I can be wrong. I hope controlling territories in the future will be a thing.
  4. Karma System

You're welcome haha. If anyone wants to know what part in the video, it's between min 38-40.
  5. Living off the Land...Survivalist Career?

Yea students paying the teacher for the RP since there isn't a official mechanic for that.
  6. Living off the Land...Survivalist Career?

IF you want to call some of the people here boy or girl scouts go ahead lol. You can teach people at the university for lessons, and in theory you could get paid. There will most likely be plant life if there is animal life too. The map will be on your smart phone, but for people who wanna be a survivalist, they can choose to not use the map. Remember this is an RP game, player driven.
  7. Karma System

Pretty much that, the stress system from what i understood, if someone pulls out a weapon and points at you, the lower your stress level the lower the damage, and increases the higher your stress level is, meaning you have to run away from the person with the weapon so they don't inflict. They also explained there are safe areas with metal detectors that take away weapons, such as the mall, which is a great idea. My idea however, I don't see how it's similar to the stress system. The good and bad decisions stay with you until you serve time in jail, there is no damage reduction caused by "stress". With the metal detectors, it makes half my idea pointless because serial killers wouldn't be able to kill you in public places anyway. Although, there will be public areas that don't have metal detectors, so there's a possibility it can be useful, but the devs already have multiple ways to stop RDM.
  8. Living off the Land...Survivalist Career?

Get paid to teach people the "way of life" to survive
  9. Karma System

What time in the video, I don't want to go through an hour of footage. lol
  10. Karma System

Thanks man! I'll explain my idea more in depth later.
  11. Karma System

I didn't see if this was on here but my idea is to minimize RDM. Let's say the karma stat scales from -1000 to +1000, and everyone starts at +100 karma. (numbers are examples) There's going to be people who will kill on sight for fun and like to be chased by cops. This system is to stop trolls from doing it all the time, not allow serial killers to play paintball, enter the cinema, not allowing them to enter public places if his/her karma is low enough. I'm not sure if there is a supreme court type system, if there is, then the judge will determine how severe the crime was, and will sentence the criminal to jail and lowering the persons karma. That's where jail time comes in, lower your karma the longer you stay in jail (if caught). That's why there are activities in jail to keep you occupied until time is served. Just like real life, committing multiple crimes result in longer jail time, a murder can be 25 years to life, robbing a store or bank can be around 10 years. The person who served time, his/her karma stat will reset to 0 at the end. Losing karma would be easier than gaining karma, hopefully this will have people stop and think before doing something illegal. The karma system can be more complex if you allow it, next to your personal karma stat, there is a karma stat for the groups/factions gangs, police, civilian. If you do stuff for the group you join, you'll gain karma which will unlock skills or perks. This could be explained more but I'm short on time so I will leave it at that, I made this post before but it said I wasn't allowed to post (think I wasn't logged in) and I explained more. Then it deleted everything I said. lol
