  1. I inquired about the dispatch feature some time ago. I mentioned it should be like a private voice chat, so that it wouldn't notify criminals about strategic orders on how to take them down. Well, that was the idea. Think James said it wouldn't happen though.

The game is still 18+. While also guys, they won't add sex because they don't want their game banned off of streaming sites like twitch and YT.

I didn't know there was an age restriction on the game. Well now that I think about it, it makes sense, because of the criminal career activities.

Someone during a live stream mentioned the idea for a spoof site that could work on Identity's "intranet", the internal in-game internet. "Cornhub". Would be a funny thing, a semi-erotic website revolving corn. Wish I remembered who mentioned it, so he/she could get proper credits for this lovely idea.

Suddenly I'm remembering Beavis and his "Cornholio" acts all over again. Lol

It's something some of the developers talked about in a stream earlier this week. That it would be a great idea for an easter-egg, or a sign of appreciation toward @HairyGrenade. It shouldn't actually work, it's supposed to be a piece of art. But one of great value! You could make a grenade covered in hair (like a Kiwi, but longer), or as one of the devs suggested himself: a grenade with a wig on. Plenty of ways of handling this.

    Ahhhh. Makes sense now. Lol

This is the most common misconception. They rarely use the echo effect (real term: delay) in karaoke, but they mainly use reverb. These are two separate things.

Delay (your 'echo', if you insist) -> sounds reflecting with a delay, which means there is noticeable silence between your input and the reflected sound you hear back. (examples: a long cave, a long tunnel)
Reverb -> sounds reflect back and forth way shorter on your input. So there's basically no delay (we're speaking about milliseconds) between the inputted and outputted sound. (examples: cathedral/church, opera hall, etc.)

Things get real fun if you add a delay on a reverb, or a reverb on a delay effect. (yes, obviously the order matters!)

Other than this education, I like the idea and I do believe these things will be included with the karaoke. I'm not sure, but it seems logical if it would be. So it should be. ;)

About the streaming real TV shows, as long as YouTube allows it, it'll be available in Identity. So anything that YouTube (and Twitch for that matter) would ban/block/delete will be illegal in Identity as well. I'm sure Asylum have their legal business protected properly.

I've already come across a couple channels streaming episodes of Family Guy and Futurama 24/7. It's a start, and they are great shows. ^_^

    Whole bunch of nope!

Marriage and adoption will be in game, however it will all be player based, not NPC. Children will be young adults at the very least, and you won't be able to sleep with your significant other.

Who TF wants to marry or have a NPC as a significant other or child...

*plays the Married, With Children theme song* lol

So, as with any online game many people will end up being killed in one way or another. But what happens to these dead bodies when their soul is forced out by bullet or falcon punch?

Well, the suggestion is simple. Players will play as undertakers and drive around in hearses collecting these dead bodies. This will mean bodies do not just de-spawn in game. These dead bodies, for potential RP purposes, could have a funeral held in their honour.

This option will add RP value and realism to the game of Identity.

With this option it is also possible for players to collect bodies and add them to their collection - as you do.

Yes, but who in their right mind would collect dead bodies? That sounds like something a necrophiliac or someone f****d in the head would do. And the smell, the nasty smell...  Ugh lol

  8. Again and again I am hearing comments about sex in Identity. Unless they can find a way to implement it that is "safe for work" it's not going to happen. This game is meant for all sorts of players at all sorts of ages. We have to keep everyone in mind when it comes to Identity.

  9. I hope there is a lottery and gambling options as well. That would make things more interesting. There would have to be a chance percentage that lowers the more people that play though, or a fixed percentage if the game happens to be slots or something like that. It has to be balanced.

  10. Pay to play should be a rare occurrence like it already is. It's part of the reason why it's difficult to survive in such games as GTAO. Players get an upper advantage over other players because they buy better equipment that other players can't afford. I'm glad the developers for Identity are taking this in consideration and deciding against it. Keep Identity balanced.

  11. There are going to be freight trucks delivering goods all throughout Identity's map. There will be jobs where you will have to drive them to their destination. So put on your trucker hats, drink lots of coffee, and prepare to go hit the long road. ;)

  12. I had this idea as well. I am just wondering how complex the creation of new objects will be. Will we have to design them from scratch in a 3D art creator tool? I love tech, but I'm still not so great with software like that.

  13. Sorry, but I've seen the demo videos TFA, and what you have asked for doesn't look like it's going to happen. Identity is going to be immersive in a lot of ways, but not completely. Floors, walls, windows, things of that nature seem to come from a menu for interior decorating. Which is expected, because it is simpler. Do we really want to wait for every single change to our homes? No. I do know there will be store bought items though.

  14. The fact is the Governor can change tax rates, and has a little leverage when it comes to basic laws implemented, but let's be real. Identity will not be the insanely unstable unjustified hell some people might want it to become. The game is not designed for that kind of thing. This game was made to let you create a character in a normal average every day life setting. If you want to play something where government and society has crumbled, play Fallout 4.

  15. Unfortunately there will be no building fires. While I honestly believe it's immersive and realistic the developer's do not want property damage to happen. I did think renter's and homeowner's insurance could cover such damage, but the decision is still their's.

  16. This is not The Sims. There are other ways to express your nymphomania. I am happy with what we can do in the game. If you are horny go watch some porn.
