Thats rough, my friend experienced a similar struggle. I had issues registering on the site due to high traffic, ended up playing yesterday and getting in very quickly and easily lol. The hype for this game insane.

Had this game 3 days still haven't done anything else besides create my character and sit in queue.

Premium members have fucked me over honestly, because I was at like #300 yesterday and then around 3pm all these premiums try to queue in so it pushed me up #400 for 6 more hours, before the premiums try to log on my queue was going down at a decent rate

  2. I don't know much about supply and demand but I would imagine it would be like the Steam Market, too many of a singular card - price will drop.

That'd be really cool to have off limit animals for x_amount of time, don't know how hunter licensing would work if it would be like an achievement unlock (Killed 50 Rabbits, Hunter Rank II) type thing or would it just be like, (100 Hours spent as Hunter, Upgrade Available at Career Center) but I can see where you get the idea from I've played some other hunting games that do this and would like to see this happen in game (minus paying for dlc to upgrade for higher ranked game)

I really hope the Hunters/Farmers will have the Castle Doctrine where you're allowed to kill trespassers, and also really hoping for Lever-Action type rifles.

(I'm also really hyped to farming and hunting in this game :) )

There is only one thing I don't understand, players can run for president? I remember them talking about a Mayoral position but what would be the difference between the two?

I think the difference would be that mayors set housing taxes and presidents can set tax on purchases overall. Maybe idk that's just my guess

  4. How will adding player permissions work? will it be a physical thing where the owner has to walk up to the key hangar and add someone's name or will it just be like go to menu > options > housing > add member?

    Question for @Vix

This is very true, there are some factors blocking this from being a possibility. I presented the idea this way to keep things simple but I very much understand your point. Personally I think it will make the Law enforcement proceed in arrests with much more ease, which isnt necessarily a good thing.

Yeah, I feel like adding this system to the game will not be efficient

I think the phone list would be comparable to GTA, friends you have added will appear as contacts and you can text and call them. Id love to know if you would be able to call friends who are in different servers.

As for wiretapping, I think it could potentially have a role in Identity but perhpaps in the investigative side of the Law and perhaps after a larger amount of notoriety (or wanted levels) is reached. If wiretapping was accessible for every case then there would be little illusion and it could make things very difficult for the criminals.

Here is an example of wiretapping that I think could work:

Joe is working a large drug operation, and is suspected of other crimes. He has generated enough notoriety that a player Detective/Investigator (lets call him Bob) has been assigned to his "case". Bob proceeds to investigate but seems to be hitting some dead ends. He submits a request to the courts to wiretap said player and is approved. From there Bob can see that Joe has been texting quite a bit of people offering his "goods and services". Now Bob has more grounds to work off of.

I recall replying a forum post talking about Evidence in court cases. If this system were to be implemented it would give our friend Bob here something to present in court. So thats another way to look at the system that could potentially add a lot of depth the the Law vs Crime aspect of Identity.

Keep in wire tapping isn't something you just "turn on,"  Joel would of have to be wired anonymously by a government worker (small mic slipped in his jacket), also unlikely to happen in game, or have his phone switched out (Which most likely wont be possible)

  7. Will phone calls be possible and if so is it possible for phone calls and texts to be recorded by the government if the player is under investigation/parole?

What about Caller ID and Phone Number changing?

Anti cheat systems are one of our absolute highest priorities. It doesn't matter how good a game is if cheaters ruin it for you.

This would be heavy on the network but if money is made to be server-sided and not client-sided it'll be near impossible for hackers to duplicate that cash, Hurtworld did this but their inventory system is very buggy because of this server-sided inventory

  9. You know what doesn't make sense? When people ask if you're okay or how's your day; you're obligated to say you're good because if you say otherwise you are not "normal" and there is something wrong with you and people must ask why you aren't good but they honestly don't care and they just ask because of "common decency." Not all people do this, but some people I know do this.

AND THIS BOTHERS ME THE MOST, This is going to spin a lot of controversy but

    Racist people.

  10. I think you will have to pay every month for rented homes or hotels.  It'd be cool to see some neighborhoods named after players that did something cool there or own the town, I don't know if that's what you were implying but, yeh.

I bought the cheapest founder's, so no premium, and no server. I don't want to play before I get my new PC, on my current one I have 20-30 fps.

Play Poharan with me once you get a new pc, :) I'm going to have about 30 or so other friends and I who are probably going to start a guild once we find out how to all connect at once (because dank queue's)

Probably not, it's the most difficult class as far as I know, because they have the most combos. I know it'd be terrible for me because I'm a battle mage in all mmorpgs I've played (excluding EoS because mages there are lolis so I went with archer) and I'm used to ranged glass cannon play style.

Are you premium or non, what server do you play on? I've had the game for 3 days and still haven't managed to get into a server...

I played as Force Master (mage) and in B&S you have to constantly move and run around even as a magical class. And you can. :D Unlike in FFXIV. Screw you, FFXIV. @-@

Do you think Kung Fu Master is good for someone playing this for the first time :)
