  1. Why Progressive and Liberal Parties Won't Work

As a progressive/liberal myself I agree with you that a platform centered on 'identity politics' is entirely useless here in this game. Many leftists parties have put this into their party platforms, I believe this is just 'filler stances', so they can say more things. I'm currently in the works with another person with a more conservative party to present a balanced party that truly puts the nation first and ensures that people receive necessary support from the government and a business-friendly economy. Right now, we're working on choosing a name. Anyways, I would have to disagree that the progressive/liberal way of thought is completely irrelevant in Identity, because there are plenty of economic and other domestic stances that can work AND be beneficial.
  2. A Quick Few "Do's and Dont's"

I would like to know more about your plans on how to limit crime. In my experience it is best to not use "extreme" (not really extreme but that is what they would be called in this case, words that leave no room for exception), so when you say "crime will not be high" that is only setting yourself up to be used against propaganda. Anyways, back to my original point, I would like to know specifically what kind of ideas you have for laws that will cut down crime rates. I saw that you posted that criminals wont be able to legally purchase firearms, and that's good to know, but i think there is more to it than that.
  3. The Liberal Progress Union

just to clear things up, i don't have a problem with using taxes to pay for the lawyers, in fact, i think they should be used for paying for the lawyers. Just wanted to clarify where the money was coming from, since i can think of multiple ways funding could come from. Oh, and it may be difficult to provide free lawyers and other necessary government services to help care for the people, if you have taxes at a minimum. Low taxes can be fine for to pay for a few government based programs, but that is even less with minimal taxes.
  4. The Liberal Progress Union

If you are providing a free lawyer, I assume that you are paying the lawyer using taxpayer dollars
  5. Not Your Average Leftist Party

Thank your interest and support so far! I have sent you a PM with more specifics about possible ideals for this party that I hope will come to fruition.
  6. Keys High-End Apparel

What would be expected of the Chief of Research and Development or the Chief of Finance? Are there any prerequisite skills that are required or preferred for these positions?
  7. Not Your Average Leftist Party

Yes, most of our agreements would be along the social aspect. I support the social aspects of libertarians and on the economic side I am more supportive of Keynesian economics. I recognize that this game is not real life, so we'll need to truly wait until the release of the game to see how economic systems will truly work in Identity (i have played other games where state capitalism is economically superior, and others where a complete free market works the best). So until we are able to truly see how things work out I'd believe it would be best to have a semi-regulated free market, with government intervention only happening when necessary to keep away from severe economic depression. If you're still interested, I'd love to speak with you about possibly going into further detail. As a pretty open-minded person I believe that if we are able to work together to form a party we'd be able to create a party that could cater to people from all walks of life and backgrounds, something necessary to put up good showings in elections.
  8. Not Your Average Leftist Party

hmm after reading a bit of the CCPs platform and the other platforms of the Moderate Party and the Anarcho-Capitalist Party, I'd be inclined to join the CCP due to its organization and well thought out platform which obviously reflects on them as devoted players who take this seriously. Unfortunately, as a left-leaning libertarian (libertarian socialist if that makes it easier for you, i don't like to call it that because it brings out ignorant stigmas due to its connotation) - though i don't support a complete free market like most libertarian socialists do, but rather a mixed market economy (free market with some government regulation) - so my ideals conflict with a couple areas of the CCPs and Moderate Party's platform. Due to these conflicts I'd be interested in forming a left-leaning, libertarian political party. If anyone is interested in forming a legitimate left-leaning political party to offer the people of Identity an alternative choice to their current options please contact me so that we can get organized and develop a throught-out platform that caters not only the the left-leaning, but to all citizens of Identity as well. P.S. I don't have anything against the CCPs, Moderates, or the Anarcho-Capitalists, but i feel that while they held a few shared views, there were too many conflicting views that have pushed me away from wanting to join their respective parties. Good luck to all of you, wish you success in the future! If things here don't work out then I will be giving each of you another look over and join one of you three (assuming no other new parties are formed between now and then).
