I noticed that the pledges reduce in price once you have made a purchase. If I was to take another pledge now would I get everything on top of what I already have or does the upgraded pledge replace the items I would have been getting originally?

It will replace everything of what you already have. If your pledge contains a rusted car and you upgrade to the next with a bike. That bike will replace that car and same with the apartment. On the new website you will be able to choose between the two, but prices will be raised.

Since I started to get more active on this forum, I've noticed some members being impatient or disappointed about constantly delayed estimations. I've been reading through the blogs again and I can totally relate to people's point of view. Patience is a real lacuna.  But I'll say this: "Better wait for quality rather than rushing it." And don't forget, how many people officially work for Asylum? Maybe @Beach_Ball or @LuckyDuck can answer to that question. :)

I do expect the video to come out before the weekend (should be released tomorrow if all goes well). And I also hope the alpha (modules, small parts of the game) will not be delayed too much if it ever does.

The dev team changes constantly, but it usually hovers around 20ish.

Sorry but I didn't mention it, I wanted to ask about buying skins in-game will I be able to buy them using my steam account money or on the steam market or on the in-game game devs market shop

I'm not sure honestly. I feel as if you won't be able to use your steam wallet since it will probably process the payment through the game itself and not via steam.

Only full release, the modules will be on steam but only through a steam key by pledging through the website.

But the shape in the video looks really different to the shape of the blueprint. Plus there is no balcony in the video.

That's because the blueprint is for a luxury one, in the video it's a standard 2 bedroom.

So, can you just search for ANY member on the server and send them a message via FaceFile then? Or will you have to first send them a friend request and have them accept?

Also, in addition to FaceFile messaging, will there also be standard text messaging (or SMS texting) via your mobile phone? If so, how will that work? Will there be phone numbers or will it be a "name search" thing again? Or will you simply have to open FaceFile from your mobile to text? Or will there even be texting via the phone or will that be call only?

Not sure if you need to be friends with them to message them, Beach Ball will ask on stream tomorrow! You have your own phone number, but it will use the same messaging system on the computer.

After a few months debating if I should buy a citizenship due to a small amount uncertainty of the legitimacy of the game, I have finally done the deed.

    Why is my name Identity_British?

Fuck knows, can someone please think of a explanation I can tell people. I quite honestly have the brain of an ape thus failing to provide any sort of decent thought.

My best idea was nationalism but people get mixed up with that and fascism so I thought I’d better not say it.

Anyways, I’m here now, planning on staying. Ta ta for now chums!

I am just curious if the game will also be available for purchase as an early access title on steam, when the first module is released. In which case it might get negative reviews right at the beginning, if some people find it on steam and expect it to be a full version of the game.

Nope. If you pledge for beta or modules you get a steam key via email, only way to purchase on steam is full release

What are the PC requirements gonna be roughly? Will you have to have a godly PC to play this game?

Please use the search function at the top right as many of these have been answered. It is way too early to tell what specs will be needed for the game, but the modules won't take much to run them.

You need to pledge $30 or more to get access to the modules, beta and full release.

We were promised a gameplay video in January, will we be seeing this or has it been even further delayed?

There will be a dev blog tonight that will either show the video or address it, If there is no announcement, tweet or link, then nothing has changed. Please be patient.

They make money selling the game. That is why we buy it. Selling items that you work for for real world money de-values the efforts in getting them in my opinion.  What about user created content? Can those be bought with real money?

I played and enjoyed Arma life greatly.  Without micro transactions. I know this is a much more ambitious effort. Overall it is their project and it is their choice but i am concerned about not only the longevity, economy but the gameplay itself.

Money doesn't last forever, micro transactions help continue the game's development and enables for new technology.
