Couldn't agree more. But the main worry about it is that it would be a pointless server without atleast 200 people or 100 people to populate the whole island.

True, bad numbers are the one thing that can make even the best server crash and burn, I know from first hand experience.

  2. I am with Johnny on this one, I want to eventually live in splendor but I'm going to start out small and build my way up through the course of my RP. It will also be an indicator of power, how new/rich is this guy? Check out his house to find out.

  3. This was a big problem on Gmod, because without consequence for death, people just put their money in the bank and charge headlong into a gunfight. Apart from ruining immersion, it also makes gunfights way too common and inconsequential. IRL if there was a gunfight, it would be a big deal, because life has meaning, Identity should simulate that as best it can in my opinion.

  4. I am a co-owner of this server with Johnny and I can say, while we have the occasional bad rper or trouble maker, we have a good solid RPer base and some good staff, and don't be put off by the average server because we really strive for serious RP unlike most other servers.

You should be injured for a set amount of time after being in hospital.

You get knee capped, you can't walk until you get to hospital then when your out you should have a limp for awhile

If you die you should only have half health and stamina, maybe something like that

This is basically what I meant, so yeah, as for hospital stays they would obviously not be too long because that would be really boring, perhaps 1-2 in game days, less even

Yes it's also unrealistic that you can get shot in the head, but come back to life, but thats what video games are.

It's a pretty big difference between making injuries realistic and having no respawn, seriously think your arguments through

  7. I've made a couple of posts here and there, with minor suggestions about the game, pertaining to small additions and functions. I've had multiple people say things along the lines of "The devs don't have time for this" etc. I would like to clarify that obviously, none of my suggestions are demands, and even so, they are just suggestions for after beta, if the devs have extra time, and they see the suggestions page. I've never said that the devs have to include my ideas right now, or at all, so these comments are a little pointless.

  8. Born Paolo "Paulie" Mariano, Paulie Mariano and his older brother Johnny's parents were killed in a car accident when he was 16 years old. After he and his brother killed the man responsible, they eventually had to flee to America. Paulie, after trying and failing to go straight, fell into crime alongside his brother. While even he would admit that he only got into the business because his brother did, no one can deny he had a talent for it. After his distant cousin Nicodemo came over from Sicily to join Johnny and Paulie in business, the two experienced some friction, but ultimately bonded because of their shared blood and talent for the business. A naturally broad shouldered intimidating man, Paulie wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty.  Finding his specialty in extortion, shakedowns and just general intimidation, he quickly established a fearful aura, and was known as a force to be reckoned with. Paulie acts as advisor to Johnny and is frequently tasked with discussing major decisions with Johnny. As the organisation grew in power, Paulie became the right hand to his older brother, and he rose with him, and as the Family split into multiple crews, Paulie took control of the original one. Juggling duties as an enforcer, capo, underboss and consigliere, Paulie always has a lot on his plate but he manages to stay on top of it all. Today, he sits on top of the family, alongside Johnny, as a consultant and enforcer.

I mean a limp, until you get to the hospital and they fix you.

that's pretty unrealistic though, you get kneecapped and you're injured until you get to hospital?

You say why would people hate the "additional graphic". Well obviously, maybe people want to go to the hospital, get fixed, and be on their way, not restricted, and stuck having to walk at a very slow pace, partially immobilized, most people want to just continue with what their doing without things like that needlessly getting in your way.

but you admit that they would have a limp? a limp and being on crutches could be only a slight difference, I'm not suggesting everyone moves around like snails.

Mainly because 95% of people would hate that. Sure its a realistic roleplay, but in that case, why not have one life, and all your money, houses, etc, get reset when you die... Because in the end it is still a game.

Why would people hate what is nothing more than an additional graphic? The main point of this was the hospital stays etc. and to be honest your arguments make no sense, I realize the devs are busy, but if they have the time, this function would be good and that cast would be good.

Don't think the cast and crutches thing will or should be in the game. It would be cool if you were shot in the leg, you limped for a little, and then crawled, then had to go to the hospital, and they fix it. This would b great in itself.

why not? it would basically be the exact same thing, but it looks more realistic.
