I noticed the sale price for the "upgrade package" that use to be $150 is now cheaper than the $100 package. How can I get a refund so I can buy the better package and have almost $40 returned or credited.  Asylum is not responding to emails or FB.

What package are you looking at? that is the $100 package which was the $150 one before? because if you are looking at the "Single" items then they are not packages and only include the individual item. Individual items are more expensive than the packages.

    Hi,

I was just wondering whether something like this was implemented or planned to be implemented into the game. A lot of the issues I find with games like this, are that they lack some depth within the characters themselves, especially in-game. I've seen previews of the characters customisation menu and i haven't seen any options pertaining to body-type/ build?

I'd find the game a lot more interesting if something like that were to be added, as it would make customisation more realistic and would allow you to create a more diverse population of people and people could also replicate themselves as an in-game character more accurately.

If this isn't something you'd add to the character customisation menu, maybe allow it to be done over time in-game? e.g, eating excessively causes weight gain, training at a gym increases muscle mass etc. I believe adding such realistic options to the game adds more depth overall and would really make it interesting to me.

thanks for listening, personally i think options like this would be quite immersive, adding such a high level of detail and customisation really creates a life-like game.

Hey there, the character customisation will go more in-deph but at a later point in game development like during Beta and/ or at full game release. The modules are really early stages.

The devs do however want to in the future after full game release to add the weight / muscle gain etc from in game things, however it won't be until after the full game release as I said before.

We're getting close! You can now connect your Steam account to your Identity game account and obtain your Identity game Steam key. This key will add Identity to your library so that when Identity is released, you can download it and start playing immediately without having to do anything else.

To get your key, login on the main site (NOT THESE FORUMS) at www.IdentityRPG.com. You can then go to the Account tab of your profile where you'll see an option to link your Steam account.

You must have BETA ACCESS on your account to claim a key!

ATTENTION! You can only attach one steam account to one game account, and it's permanent. Be sure you're logged into your game account which has the items you've purchased before attaching a Steam account!

While you won't get Identity in your game library just yet, you will very soon. Handing out the keys like this allows us to reduce load on our servers. We currently have 20,000 keys in the system and we'll be adding more.

I bought the game about 2 to 3 months ago

You pledged money into a game which is in development. The game won't be rushed for anyone. The Task Tracker may get/ show it is updated but there won't be a visual change all the time. The time you see the visual change is when a task is done. The tracker may be idle but they are making progress and the tracker getting updated is showing that it is up to date but the progress is not enough for that visual change.

Ok. The poll yesterday went well. I was able to put together a good Idea where most of you stand. I am going to say the most votes was in 100% which is like to see. But we did get a large number of No Hopes, and 25%. Which I am not surprised about. While going through the comments all of you made (and again thank you for them I get to really see what everyone is thinking) I saw that Lucky Duck said a lot of the devs don't work in the office.Which concerns me. Because I know for a fact we probably have most of the dev team sitting at home watching youtube and eating ramen. if there is no way to monitor the work flow how are you going to get anything done. I would like to hear what you guys have to say about this topic!! Thanks!

    1. Freelancers don't only work on 1 project....

    2. They are more or less around the world....

    3. Time zones are different, if you noticed, Jade is working on the stream at 9pm- 10pm in UK when he does the official stream.

    4. That is why Asylum are working on hiring more local devs so that they can work faster and be directly in contact with each other.

    5. If the people don't do the work when at home, then they don't get paid. They get paid when they do the job asked of them. "Freelancer" way of pay.

So here is a simple question, about the passport pre-order item.

Is it a one time use? Meaning that we use it to create one character, then that's it? Or can we use it as many times as we like on as many characters?

    Thanks in advance!:)

Passport = Full Game Access and when the full game release you will get 3 characters on Official servers and on Private servers will be entirely be separated from all other servers.

With the Modules and Beta, there will be 3 characters but they will be wiped at full release because then you won't miss out on any character customisation options which get added closer to full release.

PS: you only get 1 passport because it is game access for your steam account you use / redeem the steam key on.

I admit I was at 100% up until a few weeks ago but I'm now at 75%.  I still believe in the game and I understand how difficult and unpredictable taking on a such a daunting project can be BUT I do not understand nor appreciate the lack of communication as well as the lack of full on dedication to the project by the devs.  In my opinion given the circumstances the devs should not be working the normal 9-5 or taking 2 day weekend breaks as they are currently doing.  If they were really dedicated and passionate about the project they would be working overtime nonstop at least until the first module was released, especially given how behind schedule they are.  The lack of urgency tells me the devs aren't fully passionate or committed and don't care much about fan expectations.

I'm still giving the project the benefit of the doubt but another major red flag or two and my dedication will fall to 50% and I might consider asking for a refund.

A lot of the devs are still working, but not in office and the ones who need the office might not have access or have a family to be with. For instance, Paratus has a baby / family he needs to spend time with and so working 24/7 isn't an option, yeah he probably does work a lot at home but after he has family time.

People need lives outside of work too mate but I understand why you want them to be working non stop, but that's not a healthy family life. You may not care when it comes to making your passionate project come true but others do.

They are working with more dedication than we think but Family is Family after all. I would love for them to work all the time to get it out, but I think even if I am passionate about my job, family first before the job. That is my morals anyways. They want TS to come out as much as any of us do.

Hmm, I'm not sure if you get what I'm saying. A "little head start" is plainly P2W. Even if it's minor it's still P2W. I'm not concerned about myself but the spend-happy teens who too often go on to define online games like this. They're not spending their money, so they don't care.

Cosmetics are fine. Stuff like this is a can of worms.

yes, I guess it's P2W a little bit but it is limited because having a car isn't a big win in this game (IMO it's not a win). It is a means to travel but is still a small thing with the amount you get. In this game, money is the big deal IMO.

Alright, difficult to say whether or not this is truly addressed without seeing (and cars are a long way away), but I suppose if getting said sports car is reasonably trivial then it hardly matters. If it isn't simple to get the non-pledge version, then it is P2W because a challenge has been bypassed.

If it even takes an hour of "work" to get it but you can just pay to get it right away instead, that's like free to play mentality hahaha. And I struggle to imagine anybody wants that for this.

Yes, it will take a while to earn money as it will be close to real life costs/ earnings. It is a slight head start but if they would count in money then that is pay 2 win, however the packages won't be around for too much longer once the new payment system is in. Just don't pledge for these items if you feel it is too much of a leap but it is still mainly cosmetics.

Anything that bypasses gameplay in that way is P2W like a Shark Card. It's still paying money to get around a challenge, regardless of how trivial that challenge may (or may not) be.

It's all well and good to justify just about anything in lieu of seeking funding, but if there's a poor balance between real-money-paywall-content and what is available in the game, it's actually going to affect the experience like Shark Cards did.

The devs have stated before that the apartments/ vehicles are not the best you can get in the world and they are similar but with a different layout and so you can get the same apartments in game but with different layouts to the pledge apartments. You can get a sports car which looks different but has the same speed etc as the sports car. They will just look different.

To better clarify, do note the numbers in the corner of each image. These as they're seen are the first step in the art development. They're created quickly by a talented digital artist ( check past live streams.. this work had been shown live in the past ) as a sort of draft.

When it later comes time to create the asset, we'd choose the most appropriate of the three and it would be done in high detail with any changes requested by the game designers.

These three you see were based on the jungle mood boards, which is why they all look somewhat similar.

The final product you see in the game won't look just like any of these, but likely close to one of them.

The method used here is called compositing, and it's a great way to get a nice looking result quickly, before polishing.

okay, so that is the explanation for it and I will be locking the subject as it has been answered.

I make this publication because I know that the game will be opened for the English community and as a suggestion I would love that after that, the second language in which they translate the game and will open servers is for Spanish speakers

There won't be individual language Official servers. All Official servers will be in English, while private / community servers, they can be for a set language. The game will be translated only at full game release into many different languages and be sure to know Spanish is one of those languages.

we want realistic graphic right ? ( rtx 1070,1080; 1080ti coming soon )

why not added in game ?

RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080ti but these are GPU's and are not added in the game. It just has the ray tracing technology in them.

Well ive got module access, I just don't want to shell out an extra 25 bucks to test what they've been working on.

    hopefully they're not  * m o n e y  h u n g r y *

You will have access to a small temporary apartment for the Town Square, so that you can try out the customisation. However you won't get that same apartment in Beta or Full game release and will have to buy such then with in game money.

I recently purchased the vanity license plate from the Identity store, expecting a feature that seems to be common: preregistration. I wanted to be able to register my vanity license plate as soon as I bought it, but I was told after asking on the Discord server that this would (probably) be a feature only implemented in the game's release.

I know it may sound silly, but the only reason I bought the item was so that I could claim the plate that I wanted before someone else took it. It would really make my purchase seem justified if a system like this was put into place.

I will pass this on and hopefully it would be implemented. before the full game release but after Module 1. (Don't worry, Module 1 has no vehicles)

I notice they are selling pets now how realistic is this gonna be if I take a week off from the game is there gonna be shit everywhere when I log back in xD 😂

no, but you have to feed the pets while in game every so often.

You can still buy pets in game too just they will be different ones to these ones.

Sorry, we have little information about the game here in Brazil, I believe that if there is going to be a sea, it would be a legal profession that explores this possibility, the diver can do welding of bridges and ships, also can find new marine species, find new objects, in fact, an abundance of things that can be rewarded by the profession.

There is no building bridges nor building ships. There is no profession as a diver, you do that as a hobby in this game. exploring is a hobby too, not paid.
