the AI in the background also reacted the gun sound so I doubt it would be hard to put that into any NPC's they plan on having.

Do you mean the AI animals/ aka the deer in that video reacted. There will be no NPC's roaming though other than Animals, the people in that video were the developers.

I dont even need farm land....just pots of soil and my business will be boomin baby!! xD

you need the Farm Land to grow in big quantities. Otherwise you can grow a little in the apartment / house but it's a limited small quantity.

Will we be able to grow freely on these private and public plots whatever we feel like or will there be restrictions to what we will be able to grow on these "FARM LAND" Either Weed,Corn,Wheat or Tomatoes or will illegal plants be restricted or be impossible to grow these illegal plants, on public or/and private plots ?

You can grow legal/ illegal plants on them but be warned that players can steal stuff out in the open on farm land.

On a side note, how many years you guys think till we get the second module?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect one year of development between each module release, as well as the full Identity release. This time will be greatly affected by our resources; as more people purchase Identity our team grows and development will hasten. Help us spread the word!

With our current pace, we estimate that the SWAT module will be complete in late 2019, the racing module in 2020 and the feature-complete Identity beta will begin in 2021. These are not to be taken as release dates but as our current best estimates.”

Gmod had that simple camera system, i rememeber using it when i was working on cinematic things, pretty sure that with a bit of coding they could recreate the same thing, even tho it would be more complex i can't denie that, but i clearly think that's doable, my boi@Mikusiodaktyl got a good idea right there !

In game camera stuff and that will make lower performance for players and so that is why third party software is required for such things like recording or live streaming for Television.

Still accepting feedback! Would appreciate any feedback!

Maybe give an option to have Other or None of the above as there might not be a answer added on the question which people can pick from. For example: Someone might like both a whitelisted server and a Public one the same.

I would like to see a profession based on this. Maybe a ticker that pops up on your phone to give you news updates and a live broadcast possible on the home TVs. Can't see why it wouldn't be doable, just need to be coded right.

You cannot record in game nor have cameras which record or show live on the TV's from in game. you must use third party software to record and stream to YT or Twitch. You can search up peoples streams and videos on YT on the in game TV.

So I'd hope that 45 minute sentence isn't a hard ruling and the devs might revisit it.

That 45 minutes is for testing purposes and so can be changed in the future. However the Prison times they set will only apply to the Public Official servers and not the Private community servers.

Yeah to be fair, it’s just because I want a car, but I don’t want to wait if I’m going to be paying out my arse for a car when they are out 😂

In the full game, you can earn in game money to buy your vehicles and stuff, these pledge vehicles are just to give a little help at the beginning. You don't need to spend more than $30 to play all 3 modules, beta and the full game.

Right so I really want to upgrade my package now, but I'm not sure if I want too just yet as I won't be able to use the stuff like the car or that, so will/ or will you think of, when the full game comes out, can we have like a week to buy stuff like cars/bikes and that cheaper than none backers?

I understand we are already getting a good deal now as the prices will go up when it's out, but do I buy a bigger package now or leave it and just pour my money into it when it's out?

Need some help, unsure of what to do! Haha

Best thing is to wait, however the "Bulk Packages" will not be available at a point in the future.

They've said the game page "WILL BE PUBLIC IN A DAY OR TWO" twice now since days upon days ago and it wasn't. A delay is still a delay. Just saiyan.

Well, they can't make steam go quicker. the page is and has been in steams hands for a week and so it is not them delaying it? Yeah they said a day or 2 and well steam does what it wants most of the time. But it is like me saying what it says on the steam information. If I am telling you the info which I am given then it is not my fault that it took longer when I give the info out. Yeah they said a day or 2, but it does say on steam about it being 1 - 3 days.

  11. 1 hour ago, JoelKeys said:

They also said it would be published by November. Then Friday. Now they are saying today. I'll believe it when I see it.

They did publish it to steam in October. The rest is up to steam and no dev said Friday. Also them saying published in October, didn't mean it to be "Public" in October. Steam will make the store page public once they have done (and they probably can choose when they want to make it public or not.)

I know, which I am not disputing. You are telling the truth in what you say, you aren't lying, you are, however, misleading. Misleading is giving the wrong idea or impression, which is exactly what you do when you claim this is their first game.

If that is what it seems to you, but I didn't word it like that. People may miss interpret it but I clearly state that it's the first game project that Asylum (Being the company) has taken on their own. not of any individuals. I do see where you may find it miss leading and where you are coming from.

That is entirely misleading. They have worked on other games, they are experienced, you can't just claim it's their first game because it's their first game associated with this new company. Saying this is their first game implies that they have no experience in developing a game, which is simply false. Not only have members of Asylum worked on other games before, Mr VanderZwet has extensive experience in MMO games, so it is completely misleading to suggest this is their first game when it's just the companies first game.

My first statement included as "Asylum" has taken on, not individuals being in other projects.

  14. 12 minutes ago, JoelKeys said:

But that is misleading, because they have worked on other games before, just not under the name Asylum. These people aren't some fresh out of college devs who are trying to work out how to use certain programmes etc., they know what they are doing.

I didn't say they never had experience in game development. I just said It is the companies "First Game" on their own which is not misleading.

I hope you're not saying it took a 25 man team years to make this module........unless they're just never showing us anything in Streams/Youtuber play/etc., there is nothing..........nothing to really do in it much. I've seen a 2-man team make more than they have shown in about a half a year to a year's time before. And that's with 0 budget and with only a design background (and them learning programming as they go along). That's why I'm just so taken aback by this project, and the hype they've garnered. It makes no sense to hook people with only words. Still only words so far, really.

No I never said they have had 25 people working on the game over the 4 years, it was more like 3 people for 1 year, and then grew a little on the second and more up till now. The module was re-done 3 times in total I believe and that alone caused disruptions through development.

    14 minutes ago, ShiEksdee said:

My only hope now is they can make the actual gameplay (not this "base") interesting and fresh. Once I see how the careers, combat, etc. will work, I'll know if I want to buy or not. Right now it's barely passable as a Free-To-Play game. But I'm still going to wait to see those aspects to see if the devs can start taking it a bit more seriously and try to semi-live up to the promises.

The mechanics you want will be further along the line when they get shown.

I thought the prison insider spoke of jailbreaks involving player guards?

Yea, but there are only player guards for the players who initiate the prison break event. If the Event is not initiated then there are no player/ guards at all!

    Police Department

1 - Join the police job at the police headquarters (you can go on-duty at any station in the city but must start at HQ)

2 - Go through the police academy aka tutorial for the police role.

3 - Start hitting the streets on patrol!

    1. 1. Tutorial (Qualification).
    2. 2. Go in any Police station and sign up.
    3. 3. Start patrolling.

1 - Join the sheriff job at the sheriff headquarters (you can go on-duty at any sheriff station but must start at HQ)

2 - Go through the police academy aka tutorial for the police role.

4 - You must work in either the jail or courthouse for 4-5 hours before being able to patrol.

5 - You can now patrol or remain in the jail/court position if you choose!

There is not a separate process you just go over to the station with the sheriff job I believe.

I'll ask you this question then, since you seem to find your way to get out of any question. Why has the front page not been updated since July for dev blog posts?

Well since the new site/ store, there has been so many problems with the site that we never had before and I would guess it is because of that really because the new site broke more than it changed IMO. That is the best bet for the answer because we have more support request about the site/ accounts etc since the site was launched than we have in the past 2 years
