Mate im pretty sure its the same all around the world in terms of insurance and i wouldn't look at Canada this way, we have free medical and an incompetent prime minister who ppl think everyone likes because he takes a lot of selfies...But anything's better than what the US has got

It's a good thing you don't have to like the government to like your country.

  2. Enough of the preaching. Whether they exist or not, this game is going to be based on the average citizen's way of life. No room for the paranormal in this. I'm not trying to trample beliefs, the game is just based on way of life.

  3. When I saw this thread I knew I would end up shaking my head due to the ridiculousness. This is a MMORPG that is going to be focused on real life elements. Now, I'm a paranormal believer myself, but it is too far out of the norm. There are plenty of games you can play that involve space action (No Man's Land, CoD Infinite Warfare). We do not need any of that here. The devs are focusing on the average everyday experiences and activities.

Natural disasters are considered acts of God and hence not covered by insurance policies....In Canada at least

So they offer free medical coverage but when a tornado hits the town every one is screwed? How bittersweet. Well that's Canada for ya lol.

  5. One thing that I have noticed is that console MMORPGs are based around action, not community. You don't see socializing MMORPGs like SecondLife on consoles, you see GTA Online, which is action with the option to talk on mic. Though there will be action elements in Identity, it won't be the main concept. The main concept of Identity is to socialize. But maybe the devs will make it work.

It's not that I'm a prof model or anything like that. I got scouted and now I do fashion shows or I do photoshoots. For like dsquared/Coolcat/Dolce Gabanna/Chasin stuff like that.

Like with any celebrity, fame can attract creepers.

  7. I thought real estate would be game operated, not player operated. Maybe I was wrong on that. I do know each property/apartment is on a fixed value that cannot be increased though. Any changes made to the place would be reset after it was sold/rented out.

I would say if that is such a case players should let it slide. There will be no nudity in the game, so they should skip the shame and get back to doing what they were doing.

I wonder, if well have laws like, when you in a shop getting clothes and you want to try and put those clothes on in a booth, what will happen if someone walks in on you! will there be a full on raid to find the person who did it? or let it slide?

Even if they walked in on them, it would do nothing exactly. Like mentality no nudity and so there is no shame really, so why would anyone do anything? That would a waste of police time.

  9. The developers have stated that there will be tattoos in the game but they will have to be unlocked to be able to be used by players (joining a prison gang, dealing drugs). Id say if you want tattoos dig in and start doing your thing.

  10. That's pretty awesome! Although I won't be a criminal (at least not in the beginning) I would still love to see the street art players come up with. I did watch the video where the developers create a little painting. I hope more advanced painting tools will become available, like in Microsoft Paint.

I know there was a thread saying there will be no sex in game but it's inevitable people will find a way to hack the game or have phone type sex in game. I was wondering (for verified adult account's/severs) if there would be strip club's or prostitution. If they're going to put drug's in the game they might as well. Even rock star has these options in GTA V. I was thinking the better the characters charisma/skills they more they can charge. Pimps, Brothels,Independent Call Girl's etc. And as far as the food aspect we should be able to purchase groceries to prepare meal's and also host fancy dinner parties. Maybe an option to hire a maid to do the dishes, mop, sweep, take out garbage, clean the bathroom,do laundry/dry cleaning, make the beds, pick up clothes and other thing's off the floor & cook.

Edit: They should add restaurants/bakery's.I would love to own one.

Let me know what you think.

How many times must this be said before it sinks in? This is not GTA! There will be no nudity whatsoever in this game! Everyone can keep on wishing and posting their "buts", but it will not make it so. This is a carefully orchestrated MMORPG that is being created for all ages. You can't expect Identity to be porn without issues that would hinder it's progress. It isn't enough that it's allowing us to live a whole different life online, nooooo, people want it to be sleazy.

     FALCON HOME SECURITY

This company is still a work in progress, I just wanted to get the name out there so none else take the name. This company will be similar to the security service ADT. I will provide a much more detailed description soon.

I can imagine certain business properties needing private security, but apartments and houses do not permit theft by other players. So I can't really think of this as similar to ADT, because ADT offers security alarms to residents as well as businesses.
