Although homes cannot be broken into there is a K9 unit branch in the law enforcement career. There will be different pets, and most likely a variety of breeds. I don't know if horses will be included though, but I sure hope so. I like them.

I wasn't sure about how real estate worked. What I do know is any interior decorating done before attempting to sell/rent out will be reset. So attempting to raise the value of a place will not work.

Enough of the preaching. Whether they exist or not, this game is going to be based on the average citizen's way of life. No room for the paranormal in this. I'm not trying to trample beliefs, the game is just based on way of life.

When I saw this thread I knew I would end up shaking my head due to the ridiculousness. This is a MMORPG that is going to be focused on real life elements. Now, I'm a paranormal believer myself, but it is too far out of the norm. There are plenty of games you can play that involve space action (No Man's Land, CoD Infinite Warfare). We do not need any of that here. The devs are focusing on the average everyday experiences and activities.

One thing that I have noticed is that console MMORPGs are based around action, not community. You don't see socializing MMORPGs like SecondLife on consoles, you see GTA Online, which is action with the option to talk on mic. Though there will be action elements in Identity, it won't be the main concept. The main concept of Identity is to socialize. But maybe the devs will make it work.

I thought real estate would be game operated, not player operated. Maybe I was wrong on that. I do know each property/apartment is on a fixed value that cannot be increased though. Any changes made to the place would be reset after it was sold/rented out.

Roleplaying indeed. Economy and politics rely on the public, though I have heard of businesses thinking up of ways to tip the odds in their favor.

I am trying to be informative. But the whole thing about comparing it to GTA? Yea, not even close.This is not that. I talked with James. Though it is going to be a R18+ and it would be possible to make what you would call a strip club, there will be no nudity. The characters would have to wear clothes.

Even if they walked in on them, it would do nothing exactly. Like mentality no nudity and so there is no shame really, so why would anyone do anything? That would a waste of police time.

The developers have stated that there will be tattoos in the game but they will have to be unlocked to be able to be used by players (joining a prison gang, dealing drugs). Id say if you want tattoos dig in and start doing your thing.

That's pretty awesome! Although I won't be a criminal (at least not in the beginning) I would still love to see the street art players come up with. I did watch the video where the developers create a little painting. I hope more advanced painting tools will become available, like in Microsoft Paint.

There will be no construction whatsoever in the game. Every purchasable/rentable property will be premade. I don't see any need for carpenters.

To include hair gel would mean having hair that morphs into other states. I doubt the developers will want to do this.

How many times must this be said before it sinks in? This is not GTA! There will be no nudity whatsoever in this game! Everyone can keep on wishing and posting their "buts", but it will not make it so. This is a carefully orchestrated MMORPG that is being created for all ages. You can't expect Identity to be porn without issues that would hinder it's progress. It isn't enough that it's allowing us to live a whole different life online, nooooo, people want it to be sleazy.

I can imagine certain business properties needing private security, but apartments and houses do not permit theft by other players. So I can't really think of this as similar to ADT, because ADT offers security alarms to residents as well as businesses.
