  1. I honestly think that the longer it takes for the game to come out, the better. It means that they are taking time on adding things in and optimizing so when they do release the game it isn't a laggy piece of shit with not much to do. I have been waiting since the kick-starter and I am fine with having to wait longer. Takes time to make a game especially if you haven't made one that is open world before.

It seems no-one wants to sea transport as soon as I created the organization. :D

Mostly because people do not want to give out their shipping methods...

  3. Identity island size: 200 Square Kilometers

Altis map size: 270 Square Kilometers

Altis is a bit bigger than the Identity island but I don't think it is the right size comparison in the image.

Might be a nice thing. But remember economy is not the same as power and we also do not know the economy yet.

If I am correct I'm pretty sure I heard that the economy will be a downscale of the real life economy where like $15,000 in game can buy you a $50,000 vehicle in real life.

@Paratus Aircraft doesn't always have to be a player operated vehicle. A simple animation of a flight from Point A to Point B. For example and airport or a helicopter landing on a roof of a CEO's penthouse or business that takes him/her to and from work. Not only would it add the reality of how successful and cool it would be to own a chopper, it would remove player controlled aircraft completely and stop people from crashing their planes into buildings, players, and the grown.

Don't forget to like this is you support this idea everyone!

Did you not read Paratus's Comment?

  6. I was reading through and i was just wanting to let you know that AK-47s will be very very rare to come by.

So you will really need to bust some ass if you want to get AK's for your whole crew (Depending on how many, 6 would be hard enough)

But for your group to strive you will need more than six people.

    Good luck

My main issue is the crime to "normal" jobs ratio. Coming from GMod I know how often the mafia/BMD/etc. factions are chosen over chef or creating your own job as a civilian, and I hope it's the opposite with Identity and there's a healthy mix, if not more "normal" jobs than crime. Not that I expect there to be no crime, I just want to actually roleplay something other than being mugged or being taken hostage.

There will probably be more people who take the normal  jobs because there will be more people on a server than in dark rp.

  8. This should answer your question:

    FjyMJAh.thumb.jpg.c85393769663040b92d32d

That is the first draft so it is very likely there will be more cities and towns added along the way to release.

  9. Before I start I want to say that I have a huge amount of faith in this project of Identity.

The reason why I am making this post is so Motown and Paratus can see what some people are worried about and maybe they can answer some concerns so people get relief.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want the community of Identity to place a bit of their concerns about Identity.

    I will start:

My number one concern about identity would be: The trolls running around RDM-ing and messing around (The Devs have already said there would be a in-game mechanic to stop this but I am still very concerned as this would be a game breaking occurrence.)

Yeah, it's for the best, i mean it will already be 60/70 % crime in Identity so we need some real protection.

It is surprising, but there are (at the moment) more cops than criminals from what I have seen.

  11. I am kind of confused how the cops will keep track on some illegal activities. I asked some questions about it over twitter but i did not get a for certain answer.

I am going to place a scenario and ask how the police will be able to know about the scenario. (For Motown or Paratus)

Say a person kills somebody in my group so I take him into a secluded area (Like a swamp) with no witnesses and kill him.

If this happens how would the cops know about it?: (Explain the one that is right please)

           1. Would they know i am the one who killed him off the bat?

           2. Would they just know the general area of where he was killed?

           3. Would they not be able to know at all because there were not any witnesses that reported it?

           4. Other?

The reason why i am asking is because I personally think it would be better if it was choice 2 or 3, because if it is choice 1 then no criminal could actually thrive in the world of identity. It wouldn't really add immersion if the cops get a notification of who committed the crime without having an actual way of knowing that in real life. (It would also get quite boring)

Please answer when you have the chance.

Wow, really? I've seen quite a few of your posts about ''roleplay'' & how this game is going to be all about that, as someone pointed out to you in another thread, that's not true. It'll depend on what kind of server you play on. You call yourself a 'hardcore' roleplayer and yet, via a forum outside of the game world, you've already established yourself as the Don of a mafia family AND a member of a crime commission, word to the wise here Johnny......'hardcore' would be spawning into Identity with just the clothes on your back & then actually trying to establish yourself as a mobster, forming a family, and actually working your way to the top, not by telling everyone on a forum that you're a Mafia Don and you deserve respect. Or should we all play by your rules?.....hmmm, okay then............

So my char' is going to be the Attorney General,, and after and intensive investigation spanning ten years I know all about your Crime Commission & my office has got you all on RICO charges.....starting to see how this DOESN'T work yet Johnny? See Johnny, in roleplay GAMES it's always been the tradition that the char' you choose starts at the bottom (okay so you're a level 1 wizard with 2 spells) and earn your way to greatness by actually taking part in the game......which is why we'll all be starting at the bottom in Identity (well not you obviously). You're not roleplaying, you're metagaming.......

Metagaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself.

In simple terms, it is the use of out-of-game information or resources to affect one's in-game decisions.

...........you don't speak for me Johnny, & you don't speak for Asylum, so before telling anyone else not to buy this game, and quoting rules at them, how about you find out what the rules actually ARE.

The Irony Hurts... (Look at what i highlighted with yellow)

Also, If you were actually smart then you would've known that every person has a plan to make it where they want, they don't think they can just join and get everything...

One last thing, that idiot you are defending deserved every word he got thrown at him. He may even get worse than words.

On another idea, have you thought of a more widespread witness cleanup? Y'know, say, a mafioso is trying to snitch on his bosses, or someone was able to get a clean shot of a robbers face, situations like that sometimes require more than a strongman with a chainsaw. Because I would totally be up for a long-range silencing.

That would be more of hitman services than murder cleaning services.
