I think I may want to make a deal with you since I might have a mini side job which I will need to keep protected, low, and hidden. I could sell weapons, drugs, and other items to you for a cheaper price. I hope we can do business sometime.

    pm me about it

    Demand = Profit

Situation where manufactured product can be sold instantly is quite and exploit. Identity would become Farming Simulator 2017 with Cannabis DLC since you can make good profit from drugs, if you don´t get busted.

Considering that government controls prohibition of drugs and maybe even alcohol, then during legal times, smart ones will buy all drugs on the market since it will be a lot cheaper because it is legal. During illegal times they can generate profit, even when selling to mobs or directly to consumer. + citizens will "need" drugs for their effects.

Most likely there are going to be drivers to deliver drugs from farmers to mobs.

It would be rather amusing, to see a truck, with a trailer full of cannabis, crashing near police department.

I would just put drugs in the back of the trunk and the glove department. No need for a truck technically.

Besides aren't mobs who do drugs basically cartels? Mobs didn't really mess with drugs and when they did that's how they died out.

On one hand the devs have said they don't want to have too much NPC involvement, but I can't see many people going and buying drugs. I wonder how the devs will deal with this. Maybe they could have meth give the player a minor speed boost and a considerable damage boost to replicate its real life effects.

Maybe if there's an npc drop off for drugs we can do then that will even it out

Like drug transport jobs and such

I hope so, a lot of deals and connections I have are resting on that. Will money and clothes also transfer?

Probably lol. Tweet at them and find out. Or maybe @Vix has that in her catalog.

But unless you're planning on playing on a private server that's more like GTA than Identity, you're going to be playing a pretty SeriousRP, just because the game mechanics are made that way.

Yeah I don't mind that. I like RP. Like I'm definitely gonna play as my character. But every once in a while I might go out of character or something.

  6. @Johnny Oh... I'll have a back story for my character but I won't be like freaking out if the RP doesn't go my way and all that BS. Like I'll still be me but if anyone asks my backstory I would say my character.. if that makes sense.

True but often times people talk big but when it comes down to it, they'd cry as well.

Nah man. The people I've seen say this really bout it. I remember as a youngling I had a gun pointed at me for ding dong ditching. :(

Never thought of it that way, true I guess.

Yeah, lol. Honestly I know people irl who would cry and such if they were ever robbed and people who swear to god they'd kill someone if someone messed with 'em. :/

But people who don't care much for roleplay might rather they get killed than hand over the money willingly, because the result is the same.

It just depends on the person man, which adds to the realism. There's always a risk when doing a crime. There's no risk if someone has to comply.

But at least in my case, why rob people when you can sell drugs?

It will add to the realism of the game. In real life you'd have a better chance of carrying out any violent crime with more people, so the same should transfer into the game. If you're getting at adding more NPCs, that isn't gonna happen. The game isn't the sort of game where you have more NPCs than real players, it's the opposite.

But you have a good point about the robbing thing. What if, when getting robbed, people fight back 100% of the time instead of complying. Most of the time, people would be too scared to do anything if confronted by 2 guys with handguns, so there should be in-game measures to make this so in-game as well.

Like FearRP in Garry's Mod. Otherwise what's the point of robbing somebody, if every time you try, they fight back and you end up killing them and having a murder on your hands?

    1. In Identity anything on you will be gone when you die.

    2. I am guessing you'll be able to take the money out of their dead body

    3. Honestly If I didn't have a gun on me I'd let the person take the money (in Identity) cause i wouldn't want to die, you could shoot them in the leg if they try to run since gunshots affect you apparently.
