    That's the way I'd like to see it anyway.

    this is the way id like to see it done, with the my summer car approach where you have to connect the bolts and nuts with the right tool. it would make the car side of this game everything ive dreamed of.

    id be one of those thousands of people lol. Im just working and trying to stay busy. Although if Town Square released when i go on vacation at the end of May i would die. haha GF wants to go to San Antonio for vacation and i might have to tell her we arent going.

    win7 pro got a good deal on it when i built my pc. And i cant wait even for just the Town Square, I'm so bored of all my games.

    ive just heard a ton of horror stories surrounding win10. Maybe now its a lot better than it used to be. Who knows, maybe when i upgrade more things on my machine ill actually go ahead and go to 10.

    Completely understand haha. I wont do Win10 until its required by all new games. I miss my drifting days and still have a few logos laying around on my pc...so...if we wanted...we could reuse my old drift team as a car group in game...just a thought

    I'll leave this open until monday and see what it looks like them. If we have enough interested parties then we can look into the discord group and steam group. Didnt expect interest this soon to be honest.

    Couldn't agree more, hoping for a kind of "My summer car" parts system. Would be amazing to me. Funny little story...i used to drift competitively on Forza 4 and my drift team was named "Redline" So i can already tell i'm going to get along with you!

    I'm not sure exactly how many of you would be interested in this sort of thing, but once the full game releases, i would love to set up car meets and meet a ton of you all. I am huge into cars and cant wait to see how the devs have in store for us customization wise and i cant wait to see what you all do with your cars in game. I dont really care what kind of car you drive, muscle, import, truck, offroad, beater, bike, i just want a large social gathering of like minded people where we can all just sort of hang out and check out each others cars and get to know each other. I do plan on playing this with a good friend of mine but he isnt into cars like i am. Age doesnt really matter to me either as long as we're all respectful of each others cars and mature about everything. Sure the RP scenarios will be there for rivalries and races, but in all, i want for there to be a group of people who get to know each other and develop a true friendship all because we decided to go hang out with our cars.

     

    I guess, i kind of want to know you guy's thoughts on this. Would it be something that many of you would be interested in? Would anyone care to join me in opening a shop? Let me know your thoughts and hopefully we can continue to develop friendships starting here.

    *EDIT* Devonor makes a good point. If we have enough people, would you guys be interested in me creating a steam group for the meets so everyone is notified of when and where? Seems like a good idea. I would also love to set up an actual car group in game with a name and logo for those interested to put on their cars (If thats something that we can do) Let me know, glad to see some interest in this.

    i plan on becoming an author in game. Ive been writing a fantasy novel for about 12 years but keep losing progress due to hdd failure/ floods/ sisters throwing away written copies because they thought it was just trash papers lying about. So seeing as how i plan on writing in game most of the time, i'm not keen on sharing my work just yet. Just if you see any books in the book store with the name Jack Leyhe as the author, know that they are written by me and id really love some feedback on each book. I'll probably be splitting the single irl book into multiple books in game so people wont have to sit down and read a book the size of the bible in game. So i look forward to reading all genres that you all write. it'll be great to see the creativity flowing.

    From what i understand you are correct. Those who have pledged $30 or more will have access to the 3 modules before beta. Sort of a stress test/ technical test i believe.

    @Valtorix I honestly cannot take this person seriously. The amount of utter garbage that they have displayed all over these forums has really astounded me. I get that there will be trolls, and small children who just want to grief, but just the amount of disrespect and general asshatery that thecop34 has put forth kind of ticks me off. Since there will be law enforcement officials in game and on the forums, i don't want them to be given a bad name. I really don't want the toxicity around, although it is inevitable, in this world because of the sheer size, scope and realism that it entails. So to make this reply on topic.

     

    I think this idea would deter so many people from playing. Imagine you work all week to finally get that thing you wanted, you buy it. You're so happy because you finally made your goal. Then some "cop" pulls you over for no reason, or some punk decides he wants what you have. Boom, you get shot and lose everything. Now @thecop34, Imagine that person was you. Would you even respawn in the world? Or would you just give up and leave the game because you're so annoyed that that system is in place?

     

    In conclusion, I say this "idea" would not fit this game at all. It would ruin the game and fun for all involved.

    The amount of grammatical errors this kid has regurgitated makes me sorry for future generations. I can't wait to hear the crying that comes when they (he or she) do not pass the test for becoming a police officer, or when they get banned from every single server because they are so immature. So @thecop34 i suggest you go play gmod with the rest of the children and leave the adults alone before you get put in your place.

     

    Also, good luck during training. I seriously hope you can grow up very soon.
