@Dizzle you've started by insulting and now please don't be a duck anymore. every human got his own music taste. it's like you're insulting someone who got another mother tongue than you. do you understand that?

I didn't insult anyone on purpose. Just getting upset that he constantly rated someone music's terrible. Whatever, it's irrelevant right now.

By the way I refuse to put any of my favourite music on this post because I will become overly defensive at criticism to any of them. :D

@Dizzle I said this earlier, so you don't really know what my favourite type of music is as of yet. I obviously am going to think my favourite genre is superior to yours before its what I prefer, and I literally just haven't come across a song I like yet. Sometimes surprises do come along and I will like them, just not yet in this case. People have posted music more in alignment with your likes making it easier for you to rate them positively. I never said or made out I am superior or special because I listen to old music, I like old music because I can play that on my guitar, I can't play your electronic music on guitar can I? Not easily anyway.

Glad to see you've cooled down a bit. Nobody's music to "superior" to anyone's. Again, it's all subjective. That being said, you can like whatever you like, and I'll like whatever I like, but I still rate your music fairly. Regardless, I'm out, peace.

I'd still rate your electronic crap 1/10 even after considering it from every angle. Its my choice what I vote so stop being a fucking bitch because I don't like the stuff that has been posted here. And its not a case of being biased if I don't like what I am hearing I am not gonna give it a good fucking rating just to stop you having a hissy fit that i offended you with my rating. Not bashing, I am stating my opinion. And finally you know damn well the word "mate" is just a word people call eachother, even when they aren't specifically in a friendly relationship with one another. If I offended you because I poorly rated your music you can stick it up your fucking arse because I couldn't give less of a shit!

Its all because your little butthurt self couldn't deal with my poor rating of this song isn't it

Wow rofl wanna be more mad? And yeah, I'm totally bitching right now. That's why I'm like, calmer than buddha. Lol, took you quite a while to reply, finished googling all those words you didn't understand? Clearly not cause you keep ranting from a subjective stand point. Your music is literally garbage as well, but I still rate it fairly, that baggy pants shit? Like, 4/10. Don't like the intensity of their voices, but the point of the song is alright. Instruments go alright together as well. See? Called being a good sport. As in I'm not full of myself and think my music is superior to everyone else's. Just cause you're 17 and listen to old music doesn't make you special. Now I'm gonna go play shit, cause you're literally not worth my time. And like, straight up, don't even reply. Just keep going with your day. You're still in an untenable position. K peace.

You're just mad because I was fucking right and you can't take it

No you're not right. You're fighting from a completely untenable position, which I might add is purely subjective. You don't rate the song 1/10 just because it's not "your sense of music", you rate it based on the cohesion of the song, the lyrics, etc. It's called being unbiased, and a good sport, cause no one wants to log on to see you bashing their music. And I'm not your "mate".

Don't even try asking me that mate, I think exactly the same about your taste in music but I don't go spouting it out like a little bitch do I? P.S There is nothing wrong with my music taste, it just clearly isn't the same as yours.... Now go suck a dick

    8/10 nice chill song

    I love the dear hunter...

4/10 - Vocals could be used to more potential, and too much going on with the instrumentals.

    10/10

6/10 - Could be really good in a video game as a backing track, but pretty bland on it's own.

^ My gf rated that and suggested this song.

  8. I mentioned this in a previous post but I'll summarize it up real quick. Again, I'm gonna be using SAMP as an example.

The server I played on there were some SERIOUSLY corrupt cops. The police departments had several divisions.

    1. GD (General Duties) This consisted of patrolling and being a regular cop
    2. SWAT. These guys were the heavy hitters. The cavalry so to speak
    3. Detectives Bureau. Exactly what it sounds like.
    4. Command. Anyone who was a Lt, and upwards.
    5. IA. Internal Affairs. THIS is what I'll be focusing on.

IA was an INVITE ONLY division, and these guys were the pupils of the PD. They were in charge of following all new recruits or suspicious police officers to make sure they were doing their job. If you were bad, you'd get written up, demoted, etc.

But you can still be a bad cop. I've RPed with the Assistant Director of the FBI who dealt with the Yakuza, and murdered other cops who meddled in his affairs.

I think overtime, it'll be great if Identity worked like this. I'm sure community servers would be able to remove the restrictions put in place by the official servers, so that more intensive RP is available. :P

I believe Steam Greenlight would help boost awareness about the game, and bring sales. Once there is an alpha, put it up on early access where big Youtubers, Streamers, and reviewers play it and give it fame. That will boost tons of funds to be able to not only finish the game (providing salary to hard paying developers), but also to maintain the servers. Almost $200k is a LOT of money, but considering this game is trying to be a better GTA V (which spent upwards of $200 million), putting it on Steam Early Access and making that money will not be such a bad idea.

This game is a great idea, it just need to be more known. Even though Steam will rip an easy 40% on sales revenue, it will still get the game in people's faces. Does anyone have any other ideas on how we can show the world Identity?

I also believe that the PC version should be top priority. I do not know how hard it is to port console versions of a game, but if it takes lots of time and money, I would say just drop it until more hype is gained from a PC release.

Agree 110%. Greenlight this. And we the forum community will go and hype the game up on steam bringing it to the "most popular" greenlight games list. And from there on, it'll just gain momentum.

  10. That might be interesting but I feel like that could be exploited or be an unfair advantage to those who know how to use it.

Like if I want to launder money and you want to launder money and you know how to do it through multiple accounts, it'll be easier for you. But I'm gonna be, and pardon my french here, shit out of luck lol.

  11. Well you know what, we as a community should name the Island. I don't want to be living on just "the island". How will I write my characters back story!?!!

"Served in the Civil War in Altis, before retiring and moving to the island". NO.

    So um.. Call it um..

    Paratus Island! xP

    I got nothing. I'll come back later with some ideas ;-;

  12. Ok now this seems like it might be server dependent BUT here's some context:

On the GTA SA-MP ( San Andreas Multiplayer ) RP Server I played on.

    sa_map.jpg

You see the two cities in the bottom? That's San Andreas,

No you see that massive river in the very middle of the map? The one that divides essentially the island on which stands Las Venturas?

That was called Tierra Robada , and it was an INDEPENDENT STATE. So they had a different governor / president than San Andreas. If you went there, you were technically hopping the border. A criminal could flee there to evade police as the SA Police had no Jurisdiction there.

Now obviously this wasn't how the GTA SA map was laid out upon release, but just wondering

Would there be different "states" so to say in Identity, or will that be more private server based, or community developed?

Be interesting to see how it plays out. Maybe if your current state in Identity has a corrupt government, just move to the neighboring state. :P

Or traffick drugs over the border for a profit, cause supply and demand. ^-^
