I know however most fed agencies interact with the PD. SWAT will aid DEA/ATF with raids etc. It'll be definitely interesting to see how far we can take it.

All in the same you'd think. They're all going to be a law enforcement umbrella I'd think

I read somewhere before about Drug Enforcement and Detectives.. not an IA thing but you're not alone on that. I did see it

You do know I also plan on having my own server which means I'll be commanding my own setup too right? Definitely be unbiased and cop on others since I'm obviously full 100% set of being cop come go live.

I wouldn't say simply yes it will, or it will not. It can honestly go either way as I've seen it happen in the past.

I doubt they'll raise the prices after the release honestly. They haven't done much but remove the highest ones since Kickstarter

For users without PayPal account, you can just enter the card information during checkout in the same way you would do with credit or debit cards.
But James... it says 0.84 seconds, not 0.30 Kappa

Take Battlefield Hardline.. Didn't have such great a response after alpha, or closed beta yet people still played. Once it went live, it became the quickest Battlefield to die basically.

I'm meaning more towards server control not so much control of the in game features. Notic3 covered what I was thinking with his reply there.

Which is honestly exactly how it should be. SWAT isn't a normal every day job technically - more so an as per situation necessity. I'm not sure how the whole SWAT thing is in real life as I've not personally been in law enforcement and my grandfather who had experience in it just passed on Monday, so I couldn't find out even if I wanted to, but the purpose of this is as real as possible so lets say it's safe to assume it's the same as we're saying here.

Could not have worded it any better myself.

That, and having produced applications programs and games previously, I know what it takes to develop quality as opposed to short lived products. You can't rush success and people who try, don't really need to be a part of the success.

Definitely. I'm not sure why people are so upset over having to wait for a game of all new levels on so many aspects. When you contributed on kickstarter, or even now, you got "beta" access which comes after the alpha stage which is seemingly going to be limited to staff and maybe select few others.

Never rule it out. The fact that there's such a large amount of potential to this game, there is likely going to be a group that will eventually be super test users at some point for updates. Just about every game out there has some Public Test or Test servers new builds, new features and/or new content. Either way, we can wait for them to confirm and/or deny but I'm not truly worried as I'm paid for a spot in beta and I'll patiently wait for the chance to play.

I had posted my introduction a while back on the original forum but well... obviously we're not there anymore.
I come from a family that has DHS, Baltimore City, Atlanta PD and Miami Dade PD history as well as multiple military branches so of course, I'm going to go the law enforcement route here. My name is Justin and I am probably among the older bunch of players here. I look forward to working with some other devoted law enforcement players and also hosting a server with some people once beta goes live and we're able to purchase.

That being said, the devs didn't state that 300 was what they have tested, they only stated that 300 players was a goal to achieve. This clearly does not determine that they have even stress tested it.
The first module is not no where near the complete game, the complete game will consist of all 3 modules and more. The map is not completely finished yet and also there are only a few test cars in the game which well also the map don't have all places completed likely which are the towns and also the objects.
No one has any idea as the devs have not made that public knowledge other than it being affordable.
Yes they can get a feeling around the amount but it still doesn't tell you a lot when most of the game is missing.
It would be cool for some users to be considered [Super test] users to help in a stress test but again, that comes after an alpha and beta build has been established. I'm not sure the incomplete map and not all modules being included really clicked to some as it would give a big false/positive on stress test results.

We talked about this on the original forum with what all capabilities you'll have as far as mechanic. Potentially owning a tuning shop to do customization to vehicles or just repairing and tune ups etc.

@Motown could you move to an appropriate forum section? I accidentally posted in the wrong section. Maybe Town Square?

First of all thanks for the effort but however I'd like to discuss something with you about this. I like the general way it works and obviously promotions should be based on either applications or achievements. However things such as field supervisor are needed in police departments. For example a normal police officer won't just get Captain but will also have to learn how to be a supervisor before he can lead a big part of the department. I love the way it's drawn and stuff and argee on the general concept however lots of ranks are missing. SWAT should also not be a full time job within the department as SWAT would serve as supervisor/patrol officer untill they are actually needed.
Definitely 100% agree on the SWAT comment here. There should definitely be an alternate role assigned to members who are SWAT qualified and SWAT should only be requested in specific situations.
As we discussed on the original forum, SWAT members should only be able to access their SWAT loadout during said situation, and only have access to say "detective" role items while doing their detective duty when not on a callout.

They said drug enforcement, not DEA.. we just typically tie the two together since they're usually along the same mindset. When you mention a narcotics raid, i don't think PD, I think DEA is involved lol
