Oh, it's Marceline from Adventure Time, which is my favorite cartoon ever, and on this pic she looks like she's all purple, and purple is my favorite color. In real life I have purple hair, lipstick, nail polish and name. I'm Violet. ^u^

You thought about that a lil much. Creative, but odd.

I still wonder why you choose to have a purple female profile picture, thinking about it intensely, sometimes, then I realise -I'm thinking about it too much and so I stop.

But hey, I didn't even have to ask you and I ended up discovering why your profile is what it is. assumption I make, yes, but my belief is that this purple character was the only (just and only just) blinking animation.

I'm probably wrong but that fact is, you think a little deep in things and it makes others wonder.

    You're unique.

I hope to play identity with you(:

Even so... This would be enough to add a fear factor to help manage cops better. And if the chief is corrupt... Then something's really wrong with the force. Haha.

But the option would still be awesome xD

It maybe hard to actually try to put fear into a player, but you should act as if you were that character and value your life in a RP game. But if that wasn't enough for people to "value" their life and they still wanted to be heroes, perhaps the police force (for example), any officer who would disobey the commanding officer's orders, or take a risky action such as shooting a bank robber while they have hostages, would result in a "demotion" and set them back from trying to get ahead in life. People are always trying to move forward and be the best, but if something like this could put fear into the character, they maybe more careful and less likely to act as a big shot hero.

Exactly what I was thinking. I really do like the idea of the ability to demote officers that might disobey you - it could even lead to some really interesting situations involving blackmail, where perhaps a crook bribed the chief to keep quiet about some illegal goings on, only another low-ranking constable knew about it. They could have the option to reveal him, only it might lead to them getting demoted, fired or worse...

    Your profile pic is genius.

I hadn't noticed you're pic was animated until like 2 min ago. Then I was like woah- then you wrote ZOLC OR ¤Ωθฯ in Greek, and I was like- we're a bunch of super geniuses!

Can...can I be genius too, please? I can pay you as many Zwets as you want!

  6. Anything by Muse (who I'm seeing live in April) - like their best track, Uprising ;)

and, of course, Survival which was performed live at the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, where it feels almost as if it was written by Queen, especially the first part.

I also seriously enjoy the comedy stuff made by Jonathan Coulton, who also coincidentally wrote all 3 of the Portal ending songs. He's probably one of the few musicians that produces music that sounds better live:

You cant program fear into a videogame
What I meant by it being hard for the robbers I meant  that people in most cases have nothing to lose when they are in a situation like that

But it's supposed to be a roleplay game - most people are going to sit still to keep it believable.

No its utter shite mate xD The recommended GPU for max settings is a GTX Titan, and my 970 can run pretty much every other game on max or mostly max, on this I only get 60fps with frequent drops on MEDIUM settings.

It is a popular game I never meant it wasn't its just the optimisation ruins it for some people, take me for example.

    Huh ok :3

  9. Hey all,

So we already know that's it's possible to rob a bank (as teased in one of the very first pieces of concept art) but I was wondering quite how in depth the robbery system would be? Paratus mentioned that it could be compared to something along the lines of the Payday series, which obviously has quite a complex premise and might not be the type of thing that would be entirely possible on the game's initial release (no offence to the devs), especially combined with the rest of the product. I then suppose my question to both the community and the dev team is what exactly will a heist include - will they be particularly hard? Will they follow a similar idea to that of GTA Online's? Is there the option of stealth tactics or would it just be guns blazing? q9XM9ci.jpg.8a5ff16110e63c464b53badf1182

    Thanks!

The Reason Ark is doing not so well on PC is because of its shit optimisation. On Xbox one it will probably be locked to 30fps with peansantry graphics coming as the only option, so peasants can't complain about the optimisation then.

I heard Ark was doing great on PC - it's the 5th most popular game on Steam right now.
I thought its optimisation was fairly good too?

  11. I want to live in the middle of nowhere, in some kind of swamp. I'd like to have my own little canoe in which I go rafting along the river on my way to work. And then if anyone tried to come anywhere near my residence, I'd just yell "GET OUTTA MAH SWAMP" in Mike Myers' voice.38iZxiw.jpg.c8f0b66820fd365264fdc3bfbf58

Well, if the town square streets are too narrow for regular city buses, developers could make smaller mini buses which would be much more suitable.

For example, this minibus (Solaris Alpino) is only 8.6 meters long and 2.4 meters wide, which makes it suitable for narrow city streets and winding mountain roads.
