  1. this game might come out in 10 years or so, i really am losing trust in this game! It takes sooo long to just finish one damn task, the dev blog is sooo late, it  already almost september, time for ANOTHER dev blog, so are they releasing 2 dev blogs in september? no real transparency, not much communication, ...

I agree making a game takes a long time, but this long??

  2. i know they want everything to be perfect, but saying that one fix brings more bugs, and this one task taking weeks and weeks, how is that possible? this makes me think that the persons working on this task is either not skilled enough, or almost not spending time on it...

    Dears,

getting frustrated when every time i check the Tracker and it show update few hours ago but the saaaame 2 tasks left. I dont know what you’re updating the Tracker for but it’s getting annoying to see it getting updated but no change in tasks left.

Really have high hope for this game and literally some are dying for it to be releases ASAP.

i don't think someone is literally dying for it to be released ;)

  4. These "watermarks" you're talking about are not just on the bill, but on the whole picture, it's made to prevent people from "stealing" the design for money i guess, i don't think they will be on money ingame:p

I hope to see the first module within 6-8 weeks. I say this because they're still working on two more bugs and then they have to get the game verified by Steam. I don't know how long the Steam verification takes, but we'll see.

I think the second and third module should be fairly quick. Remember: it takes a lot to build the basics of the game, but you already have developers working on the second module. I'm thinking that once the second module is released, we'll only have to wait two or three months until we see the third module.

steam verification progress should be 3-5 business days: (https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/review_process)

Otherwise i think the town square will come out hopefully before the end of july, but i guess it s going to be somewhere to mid or end august.

For the second module im HOPING it s going to be released before 2019 starts (considering TS comes out before september)

For the third module im HOPING it comes out before june 2019 (almost a year from now)

  6. ofcourse they wont "just drop" it out of nothing, im confident they would try everything to save the game, but if funding isn't coming in anymore...

You're also saying they got investors. that's offcourse one way to keep the development going, but they might show results to investors:p investors invest to make money:p

  7. Hello all,

I was just wondering about this topic lately, and i think it s a justified "concern", which probably other people also have had before.

Let's say the developers will get to the middle of module 2, but suddenly they don't get new pledges, the money doesn't flow in as "easily" as it is doing now. Will the game just be dropped and the employees will have to simply find a new job? Or how are the devs thinking to take care of this problem? will they all work for free?( which i guess they wont, some of them got families to feed, for example jade.)

I know they already got a good amount of money pledged to the game (1.25M), but they are also developing this game already for 3 years. My bet would be that a good amount of the money is used already to pay employees, but they also moved in a real office building since some time, which also costs money every month. I also understand that the devs won't communicate about their financial side of asylum entertainment, but i have been asking myself this question lately and i really wouldn't wanna see the game being dropped in the middle of development!

Hoping i (and other fans) could get a decent answer on this!

    Cheers!

The task tracker is updated whether there is a visual change or not because if it isn't, then we are barraged with questions about why it hasn't been updated at all. For it to be updated with no visual change really isn't that big a deal, it just lets you know it's still being worked no. If it wasn't updated for 3 days, you wouldn't know whether the remaining tasks are really done or not.

we actually would know if the tasks are done if the tracker isn't updated for 3 days. If it's not updated for 3 days, they're not done. If they would have been done in those 3 days, the tracker would be updated and it would not be 3 days without an update:p

@LuckyDuck There were no after launch talks 2 years ago. It says the TS features INCLUDE a barbers and Tattoo Shop. It doesnt say they are coming in later update's. It literally says "After creating your character you'll find tattoo parlors, barber shops and more to help achieve a unique look". Not  you can customize your character but then also achieve a more unique look when the barber and tattoo shops are available in a free update.

Please find me something what says the barber and tattoo shop are included in post launch updates from when the website launched, not recently in the gameplay videos.

Now listing false features on the TS page. They should go back and edit that page as its very misleading. No where on that page does it say "barber shop and tattoo parlor will be added in later updates" It is displayed to be in from the start.

tattoo parlor and barbershop are suspected to launch a few days after TS, from then on people will have that option after creating their character. are you really going to bitch about that? it's like you're just searching for stuff to make them look bad

  10. indeed @stripedalucardsaid you have to order new items to keep a stock in your store. If i'm not mistaken people can also start some kind of factories as a business and you can actually employ like 50 people or so who then have to work in your factory to produce certain items. Then when they are produced they have to be delivered;)
