Sabela Organised Crime Group

Recommended Posts

The Sabela crime family is an Italian American organized crime group (OCG) based in the Eastern part of the United States, as part of the American Mafia (or Cosa Nostra). Christened after its current boss Malcolm Sabela, the group emerged from the ashes of the late Valenti crime family. After years of mayhem since 2009, Malcolm Sabela seems to have finally managed to calm the convulsing waters of the underworld. The majority of the current Sabela affiliates have abandoned all loyalty to now renounced Santino Valenti. Only a handful of older mafiosi still keep any loyalties to Sonny Valenti, and most have relocated to states such as Nevada, Arizona, Florida and New York.

Compared to other Cosa Nostra crime families in the U.S., the Sutera group is more constricted in size. Despite their limited membership, the Sabela crime family is involved in a wide range of criminal activities such as but not limited to extortion, racketeering, drug trafficking, prostitution, white collar fraud, counterfeiting and money laundering. The Sabela crime family remains the dominant Cosa Nostra group in the city. Sabela membership is currently suspected to be between 15 and 20 inducted members spread across Carolina and Georgia. (2013-estimate).

Purportedly backed by then street boss Patrick Limone and possibly other loyalists, Malcolm Sabela, a suspected captain in the Diopare regime was elected to take rank as boss. The enthronement of Sabela, a well-liked veteran gambling czar with ties to mobsters in New York and Nevada, introduced a new era of stability, ending all bloodletting. Malcolm Sabela is rumored to have spread new rules and guidelines that value and encourage financial income over family loyalty and traditional Cosa Nostra ideologies.
