The dev`s have their working hours, not yours either you can live with that or not nevertheless you will have to accept that.

Or I'll have to accept I can't trust what they say they will do. I don't care what their work hours are, they could work 2 hours a day for all I care. If your going to tell a community you will do something I would think they would stick to it.

Ok. Now. Lemme explain something to you. I was confused Im sorry. People are different than you. Second, on the weekend the devs have days off. They work all week  and they literally have the weekend off. They didn't update the task chart on the weekend that they  were off. You see what I'm trying to get to here. How were they supposed to update the task chart if they weren't at the office to complete it. I don't know if  you have a job or not, I'm not saying that to be rude I am just saying I don't know your life. But if you did I wouldn't think you would want to work on your days off I sure don't. Thats all! Have a nice day and See you in the Town Square!!!

im in the oil and gas industry, i work on my days off most times and we work 12 hours a day. 24/7 we don't rest we get the job done. if the devs wanted to be specific with when this would be updated, they should have been. with the constant delays, the always in the dark, never meeting targets or goals, people will start holding them accountable to everything they say including the wording of how they say it. i get they may not work weekends , however the tracker is on the website and i can only assume they can hit update anywhere in the world, even if there was no significant change.

What is the point you are trying to make I'm confused...

how is that confusing? he is stating the devs didn't say it would be updated daily, i merely corrected that statement by providing facts directly from the devs. i mean.... how is that hard to grasp?

They haven't said they would update it every single day of the week. Please remember they are only in the office during work days, which is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (UTC -4:00). They usually manually update it at the end of their shift.

you would think for someone with as many posts as you, you would know to fact check before making statements like that, FYI read the link attached, they DO say each and every day,. that's not a " during the work week" kinda statement, also forgot to mention they have updated it on every weekends in the past.

Formally, they didn't say it was delayed. However, the community is saying that because the tracker is monitoring the TS progress, the tracker is the better teller of release time. The tracker is not saying the Town Square is finished.

Formally , do some research, they HAVE formally pushed it back.....

estimates and official dates are two different things.  An estimate in this case being we hope and a official date being we will.

As I said , obviously new and not around then , they would say within x amount of days or months and not deliver.. all from their twitch videos

Lol I added that a long time ago , when ts was supposed to be release last year. I'm tired of being lied to and constantly delayed so yes I did turn and yes I'm done being played with. If my signature from close to 2 years ago bothers you I can easily change it to soothe you over

If I am remembering correctly TS was never officially announced to release last year and the only two dates they have given us have been March 21st and April 23rd.  I don't know about you but if you are calling delays being lied to then we as a community have been lied to twice unless you count all the features that they have changed for the better like server size, the animation quality, and other features then I can see your point.  I just found your signature to be ironic.

You obviously haven't been around long enough to remember the past where they gave us an eta of q1 2017 for ts and q1 or we q2 2018 for full beta. You can literally search back a year to the date of people continuously wondering if it's coming since the devs kept leading us on.... Here we are a year later having the same dance

Two delays are just fine, this is not uncommon in game development this includes triple A games.  I think people fail to remember is that they announced the game as soon as they started the development process due to the fact that they needed funding.  Don't get me wrong I don't like the delay as I have been a supporter of this idea since close to the start.  I can see how people get frustrated with these delays but it takes time.  With delays comes a better game though, they now have more time to work on the game fix bugs and add more features that may not have been in the game if they pressed go on the intended date.  Another thing we have to look at is how much this development team has matured over time.  Remember when we never got dev blogs or update?  I do.  We now have a community manager, they moved into a whole new office space, we get a dev blog every month, along with streams that happen all the time through out the week, and we can now see what they are working on as a tracker has been added to the town square page and it has a link right to it on the front page of the site.  With these delays the dev team has seen and acknowledge that people don't like delays, why they didn't give us a date when they said the delay, but they gave us a way to see their progress.  I however fail to understand that people who want to play this game as much as they want win the lottery or people who just got on board are turning against it when this dev team has only gotten more transparent with us.  This being said I don't think the dev team aren't allowed to be criticized (some of it being deserved) and people can't have their own thoughts about what is going on.  I just think people are over reacting.  But what do I know.

So salty... Imma be playing TS soon and I’ll come back here to laugh, cause at that point your gonna have to pledge more if u wanna play.

i lost count on the delays they have had. are people not allowed to be salty when 2 confirmed dates get delayed plus so many other failed promises? you go ahead and " play and laugh" i will invest my money else where

  10. already asked for mine but nothing. i knew they would delay, they do everytime.  so many people had hopes and dreams and this is it, well i dont see them now. i tried to warn them but wouldn't listen

Yes you can still get a refund.

You just need to contact beach ball  and of course make a thread in account support.

that's worth laughing at.  even when you do those steps it can take multiple weeks of not hearing anything. I've requested one quite a while ago but nothing.

Well in previous twitch clip, the devs said that the other 2 modules won't take nearly as long to release as town square did..

Anyway right now I am anxious of seeing what town square is and how promising it will be for the future.

Step by step is the way to take it

and a year ago they also said that it was only a couple months left. but here we are. i take what they say with a grain of salt.

That’s not true at all... they’ve recreated Town Square 3 Times now to make it better.  They haven’t been “polishing” for a year now.

pretty much a year ago the status was 95% complete on town square and kept being said it was soon. I'll believe them when people are actually in the game, until than i don't trust any release date they mention, including April 23rd. i wouldn't even be surprised anymore if they pushed back again.

I don’t agree.  The video should release a few days before TS.  Right now there just polishing up TS and finalizing everything for the release, like fixing up animations.

they been polishing for a year now since TS was originally planned to come out almost a year ago to the date. this better be spotless with the amount of polishing they doing

That's odd? I thought you could rent out a spare room in apartments? I know you can for houses

trust me i aint to happy about it. but i had a link to the dev twitch that they said you can own multiple apartments but cant rent them out, but you can only own 1 house but they can be rented. feels backwards to me, but thats right from the horses mouth

Just so you know I hope you're aware that prices in identity will heavily reflect real life, if you're going to grind a job and save up you aren't going to just get an apartment within a week, you'll be spending ages working a job just like real life

apartment should be easy. house not so much. luckily i think i get a 2 bedroom apartment so i might rent it out and live in a car lol

scratch that, forgot you cant rent out apartments.
