    Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen!

As I am sure we are all very excited about the release of The Town Square module, and most of us are watching the task list get updated everyday (besides weekends).

We are getting veeeery close to the release as there are only 4 objectives left to be done, 2 in progress and in 2 in testing if I remember correctly.

When do you believe the module will be released? In the upcoming week perhaps? Perhaps the week after that?

    Kind regards,

    Alphoni

    its 5 not 4

It is frustrating but they have put dates on its release before and they turned out to be wrong hence why we have the tracker to give us a better idea. I do believe communication could be better but people speculating over when it will be out is pointless. There is nothing any of us can do but wait whether you like it or not but that's the name of the game. Pledging for games needs a lot of patience because of the long timescale and if you don't have that then you are probably better off not pledging and waiting until it's fully released.

that has been my reasoning behind not licking the tracker since day one. it takes any and all accountability off the devs to take their time on releasing it without any dates, and creating the masses to speculate on when it will be released and all that causes is frustration between people. people been saying" oh totally next week" for weeks now.

I think allowing MODs on a MMORPG is a double edged sword... It can bring tons of content to the game, but can easily brake the in game balance and open vulnerabilities to hackers

The mods would only be for unofficial servers and a lot of those would be run by admins that would monitor any potential hacker activity just like most games out now that allow mods. i wouldn't worry to much about hackers, no more then any other game,

That risk would only be for unofficial servers anyways , official servers wouldn't have mods meaning no real risk of hackers. Unofficial servers would be like everything else, admins and such that will monitor and ban if needed any potential hacker

I've seen this question asked before and I'll say the same thing I said last time.

Identity does not need mod support. It's not a game that would work with it, nor is it single player and therefore it'd be unfair allowing people to mod a multiplayer game.

Mods are not the be all and end all when it comes to gaming. If you only enjoy games that are modded then identity isn't for you I'm afraid.

i Strongly disagree, the modding community can do amazing things that wont break the game in anyway. they are capable of adding different types of vehicles in a game, i've seen them add tow trucks in one, they can do amazing things with clothing even beyond what you'll be able to do in game. mods aren't just about hitler riding a trex through the streets of paris or some shit, they can do great things.

  6. I don't trust anything they say anymore until i physically see it happen, because just like the website, they will jerk you around for 3 months. how is 3 months "soon" is what i'd like to know.

I think John forget to update it, he was working really hard and late last night to get everything ready for the stream today.

"working really hard and late last night" really? late? i was told by plenty of people here that they only work mon-fri set hours due to the building they work in having set hours. i guess if he worked late he could of updated it? thought they didn't take the work home?

TS is way more than 80% done, it’s just that 80% of the remaining tasks are done.  I don’t know why you’re always such a little whiner here, it’s honestly so annoying.  Yesterday we got an amazing livestream reveal of TS, but you’re still here b*tchig like usual.

And? He's talking about no update. They haven't updated in 4 days going on 5. That's a broken promise and I'm here to hold them accountable someone had to or they will continue to delay and break promises and lose players. Don't like it don't read my shit

Town Square? Yea xD sure it's coming out this year. You're crazy if you don't think it is lol because their estimated release date was this spring so try to be logical and see the tracker and the stream.

I mean, yea relay it, but be calm about it and don't attack them and create false rumors or exaggerations about them, because that's just rude. You saw how much work they put into ts on the stream, and they are doing their best to role it out.

ya.... spring of last year XD, go through all the posts from last year about people asking " is it soon" because they kept leading us on with it will be out very soon. this has been a very long cock tease for alot of people.

Oh yes cause they delayed soooo much xD   I count 2 delays but tell me if im wrong and how much delays get AAA games?
In my opinion they did everything right, they did a mistake to anounce a date and changed it to the tracker which is the best desicision they could do.

I follow this game  since 2015  and never act like all this idiots who have absolutely no clue about development a game with a small team.

Whats 3 years in development with a small team?  Nothing just nothing, maybe you should look how long it took to create GTA V  with a fucking big company like R* and studios around the world.  But people need to use their brains to understand this but its to much to ask from people like you who just whining over and over again and you change nothing with your acting.

People these days are so annoying...

the way you conduct yourself and speak about others would indicate that you are the child in all this and that the rest of us are rational adults with rational expectations .

I love the kids these days with absolutely no patience and all what they can do is whining all the time.

Absolutely no clue about development but a big mouth behind the keyboard.  If you cant wait then go and play something else and come back when the game is ready or just stay away no one will miss you little brainers.

the lack of patience is caused by the constant broken promises, not due to the fact people have no patience. i for one have been patient, however with the amount of times i have done this dance with them, frustration is turning to impatience. so this isn't some " kid" thing, so before you go swinging your dick of assumptions , maybe come to realize people are sick of being told it will be out on X date, to then get delayed again.

Most people who are against the supports of this project are those who have had bad experiences in the past.

^ This. when you invest a large sum of money followed by continuous broken promises , it hits you pretty hard. i know plenty of active forum members that are just gone now and said fuck it.

  13. i wasn't a fan of the tracker. in my eyes all the tracker was is something for the to lean on. they gave 2 dates and failed on those, so if they gave a 3rd and failed again it would be a shit show. however put a tracker and you don't have to promise anything, everything is there to somewhat see and people can make their own assumptions with nothing official. bad enough they didn't plan on the delay taking long and we are almost a month in.

The tracker is updated often, and there is a dev blog every month. The tracker was updated today, as a matter of fact!

ya like 15 minutes after my post, guess i just reminded them so that worked out.

  15. was there a holiday in the US recently? just trying to see what could cause the "daily update" to go past a weekend and now be 3 days of no updates. broken promise? maybe so, but now i have a broken heart.

There would be no change at all because they wouldn't be in the office over the weekend.

explain the updates they made when this first came out during the weekend then.... i mean what changed?

There doesnt seem to be any pleasing some people.

First they moan about the delays, so they apply a tracker so people can see whats going on, then they moan about the tracker not being updated.

Im sure some people are just not happy unless they are constantly moaning about something.

Why would I be happy with a tracker? It's a smart move on them. Give us an "inside look" without making any more news promises they can't keep. Why give a new eta when they can put something flashy infront of everyone and pretty much let us assume the release date.
